Gil’s Latest Gimmick: Details and Should You Buy The Beefy Bishop

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Ol’ Gil is back in Springfield!  It’s just not an event until Gil gets involved!

Anyway, Gil is back and, as always, he’s got another “deal” for us.   What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well, lately he seems to be on a religious kick.  First, it was God, then the Patriarch, and now the Beefy Bishop…

So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if this deal is worth the donuts or if you should take a hard pass…

So when you first get into Springfield (well after you’ve launched the event stuff…of course) you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…

If you tap on him you’ll see…

Gil: Ol’ Gil can’t be looking scruffy while he’s scroughin’ for opportunities.  Gotta stop and crop the top at the barber.
Julio: With you in a sec, sweetheart.
Gil: Whoa, sixty bucks?! How much to just do the sides?
Julio: I am an artiste. You want a Joe Schmo cut, you go to a Joe Schmo barbershop.
Gil: Joe Schmo’s what I’m shottin’ for!  Is there anywhere around here like that? Something in the ten dollar range.  Five dollars if I offer to sweep up after?

At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…

If you refuse…

Gil: Ah, well.  Back to the blood bank.  There’s gotta be a pint in ol’ Gil’s carcass somewhere.

If you accept…

Gil: Ol’ Gil’s gonna be lookin’ good for the ladies tonight! All I need now is a swanky bachelor pad. I’ll just hit the appliance store and get me a nice one bedroom thrown-out refrigerator box Ha-cha-cha.

Now real quick…if you refuse the offer will go back in the store.  It will be there…

This Deal Ends May 13th (When the event ends)

And now for the part, you’ve all been waiting for…the Should I Buy…

Final Thought:
As far as Gil’s “deals” go, this is a good one.  No extra “Gil Tax” added to this one.  I say go for it.  He’s a fun character and he’ll help with the event.  Pick this one up if you haven’t already…and finally say yes to Ol’ Gil!

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and I already took the deal.  But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Remember, there’s a good chance this may come back in a future Mystery Box.  It’s happened a few times now.  If you buy it there’s a good chance it’ll come back at a much lower price and you’ll be mad about it, if you don’t buy it and want it there’s always a chance it may not come back.  So the gamble is up to you to take…

Here’s a look at the tasks…

  1. Brutus the Barber Beefcake was my favorite wrestler when i was a little kid watching WWF💙

    • Big daddy and giant haystacks UK wrestlers were mine, I remember seeing them with my grandfather 😁memories

  2. For at least a month if not longer I wasn’t able to visit neighbors because it kicked me out. I just saw that one of my “game friends” visited me. When I tried to visit my friends they’ve all disappeared. Only other Springfield is left. Is this a game glitch or known problem? Has this happened to anyone else?

  3. sorry still cant play the simpsons tapped out game please help thank you

Sent from my Galaxy Tab® E

    • It is strongly recommended that you uninstall and then reinstall the Game App (please have your Origin Account info, because you will need to sign in during login), but …

If you are using the Samsung Galaxy Tab E from 2016 (Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB ROM), it’s probably time to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 (Android OS Pie 9.0, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM), because older Android OS will no longer be supported (it’s the same situation for those who have an older Amazon Fire Tablet) ….

I hope this information is helpful 👍🏻

  4. Gil is losing his touch… he went down from a shady car salesman tactics to a shady pool salesman tactic… I still bought the offer, but i feel dirty.. hahahaha.

  5. You let the side down with your crappy deals Gil, D- can’t do better bob

  6. Weird. There’s no premium combo this week 150, it’s just been moved to a Gil Deal.

  7. Anyone else notice “Gil Deals” have been just normal run of the mill purchases lately & not the crazy priced ones of days past.

  8. It’s a deal (spend the sprinkles!)

    helps earn extra Event Currency
you’ll be thankful for another Wrestler Character
    Barbershop acts like a Building
    his Visual Tasks are funny

(do you really want to be underwhelmed by crappy Act 3 Prizes ? you’re only getting 1 Wrestling Character worth your time and the rest isn’t worth the Grind!!)🙅🏼‍♂️

  9. Bought it but only because I always buy the combo that’s offered at the beginning of each act, which is exactly what it is.
A ” Gil deal ” should be something separate included in the event.
