Update time in Springfield! We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on! And highly amusing that it’s based on wrestling, when this may be how some of us are treating our families after a few months of quarantine! 😳 Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Rasputin the Friendly Russian & St. Basil’s Cathedral to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Russian combo to your town…

Final Thought
Like most premium combos this is an ok buy. It helps it’s the only new premium content with this event, but it’s not a bad pickup in general. Nothing screaming “BUY this immediately” and nothing screaming “stay away!” Just an ok buy.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and I got this almost immediately. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Hi Donut Friends. Turns out Rasputin likes to hang out where the money is:D He doesn’t collect the microphones in the Wrestling Pavillion with the others, he goes to my Mansion of Pure Gold! If I store it, he then goes to Sanjay’s house instead for microphones. I should store it as well just to see where he ends up. He also likes going to the Gulp’n’Blow to enjoy Choccy Milkshakes. Does he like other buildings in your cities?? Tell me, friends!
I think I saw Professor Werner von Brawn at the Lovejoy Residence in a friend’s town. I assumed PWvB, Rumbleina, The Beefy Bishop and Rasputin go to random homes they’re nearest to for the microphones but if they go to specific homes then that would be neat especially since some of them don’t get used as much, I also assume the Brown House or Simpson House is the location they go to if other homes are stored or not unlocked/bought.
I have 150 donuts. I can only get 1 of the following. Should I get Professor Werner von Brawn, Beefy Bishop, or Rasputin the Friendly Russian – OR – should I just hold on to the donuts for maybe something better down the road?
Hi Javaintx, I would go for Rasputin because he has the best, prettiest building. Bish has only that ugly barber shop which is not worth 150 in my opinion. Werner and Beefy Bish might turn up in next events for the tokens or in the Yearbook even. I saw this happen with several characters from events.
Thank you so much for this puppy surprise reveal! I love Basil’s cathedral and I have Russian ancestors so already wanting to get this for my town. I also like Rasputin coming from the classic seasons, and then you tell me he plays with puppies on top of that! KA-CHING!!! A must have for any self respecting tapping Sprungfelder
On the last prize of this dull event and what a crock, a declaration of love, and the wrestling match declared a draw so dumb, what happened to a bit of visual with the wrestlers in the ring, tag match ☹️🤷♂️
The dialogue was funny, but I agree ….. we really needed a visual ruuuuuumble …. on par with the Christmas Event where Kang & Kodos are battling against Jesus, Santa Claus, Kwanzaa Dr Hibbert, Jack Frost, the Buddhist, Kali, etc (that would’ve made this Wrestling Event epic!)
💜 my new Buildings & Characters, some of the Decor is stored ’til I can figure it out (my Wrestler City will probably look like their Retirement Centre).

Does anyone like that every single new character in this event has 1 & 4 hour visual tasks except Dr Bonebreak or whatever? Both his visual tasks are 4 hours. I assume that’s a trademark EA SNAFU.
Also, the game crashes every 3 minutes or so since this last chapter started yesterday.
Iron Yuppies visuals are 8 and 12hr
My Game play crashed once (and it was probably my fault), but overall? EA is slowly getting their Network issues dealt with globally (not bad for reduced hours Tech Support due to Covid-19). I’m sure everyone’s ISP and Mobile Network are adjusting, too (I hope so).
I found the new Characters (Premium and Freemium) have Visual Tasks at different lengths (Alissa is correct about Dr. Bonebreak’s), with Tasks at Buildings (or Decor) and it’s nice for Characters to have someplace new to go to.
My main constructive criticism is that I wanted a visual ruuuuuumble (seeing the new Characters wrestle each other). We’ve had some amusing Visual Tasks in prior Events involving multiple Characters, this Event definitely would’ve benefited from this.

Honest Abe’s visuals are 1 and 24 hours long. This is the first event in a long time where the visual task lengths are 1 and 4 hours long since most of 2019 and some of this year’s characters and costumes had their 8 and 12 hour tasks visual, Black History characters had 12 and 24h visuals, and I also remember for a long time all the characters had 4 and 8 hour visual tasks.
The next event/update’s characters will likely have different visual task times since it changes every event or every couple of events.
Have you tried the some of the common fixes, e.g. uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO or freeing up space on your device.
Anyone having trouble with the app? Haven’t been able to play since yesterday…

Rasputin the Friendly Russian – while not voiced (none of the new Characters this year have been voiced, Premium or Freemium!), I 💜 making him play with puppies! 😂
St. Basil’s Cathedral – cool Building will go swell with your Wizarding World area (my minor complaint is that it’s rather large, but the details are nice).
Worth the sprinkles, especially if you’re not satisfied with all of Act 4’s Prizes (exceptions? yeah! if you don’t care of wrestling, or you hate this Event? then I’m assuming you’re not Tapping thru it! you have a right to Tap, or not Tap!) 😉👉🏻

You are correct – we got some older versions (or variants) of existing Characters that are voiced …. not that many new Characters are voiced, but I do appreciate the new Characters (and Buildings) brought into TSTO.
Alright – Wrestler City – that’s my nickname for the new area themed with this latest content (we needed a Wrestler Retirement Centre , but I will think of something).

His time getting therapy with Dr. Marvin Monroe (great dialogue, I just wanted the visual gag). I enjoyed this Event’s Characters and Buildings. 😀👍🏻
Thanks for the suggestion about St. Basil’s in the Wizarding World, the colors really are complementary. I had to store my Magic Station to make it fit but I hadn’t built the monorail on to it like I had planned anyway since I’ve received my first item limit warning, so I guess for now, it’s no great loss.
You may find a place for the Station again …. the colours of the Castle Walls (and Turrets) match the new Premium Buildings (Cathedral, University). I actually had to let the Prizes from the Wizard Academy grow on me ….

I agree, it’s so pretty! I am starting a Russian/Fairytale area with it in my town. I surrounded it with the red brick walls, the Gingerbread house (Susan the witch makes a great Baba Yaga) and the lemon tree (Russian tea is served with a slice of lemon). I am looking for more Russian themed decor… wish there was a Russian Tea Room like in NYC, some matrioshka dolls or a big samovar lol

I bought it. Granted, I farm donuts, so it was an easy choice. And characters are an excellent source of regular donuts. And it is a rather cool looking building.
