Just a heads up, an update is slated to hit in a few hours, Pride 2020. This will be another TSTO mini-event and will run from 10am ET today, May 20th, until 10am ET June 3rd. So a standard 2-week event.
And if you haven’t already done so, be sure to download the latest update from the app store. This update won’t make the event auto start (unless you download it after 10am ET), but it will remove the Wrestling Splash Screen and return TSTO back to standard TSTO.
The prize track will consist of 5 new prizes…but two of them are costumes (for Homer and Marge). In fact, even the premium item is a costume. This event contains no new full characters…premium or freemium.
Prize track is 1 building, 2 decorations, and 2 costumes.
The premium bundle consists of 1 costume (for Smithers) and 1 building, for 150 donuts.
Also, there will be a Pride Mystery Box, 60 donuts a shot, full of items from Pride events of the past.
And there will be loads of returning pride content available for both cash and donuts, outside the Mystery box.
And that’s about it. So look for the event to start today at 10am ET (about 3.5 hours from this post going live).

Hi, it is the 22nd of May, event still hasn’t started. I have the update, I have tried clearing my cache and even did a fresh install: nothing… Anyone else have this problem?

Glad EA is still updating, happy to get new items. I’m perplexed at the currency requirements now… 105 for the 1st prize? So weird! Do they want us to spend 1 donut to speed up or they learned our trick of staggering people? Lol
Ugh, not another pride event! Respectfully, NO THANK YOU! Guess it’s time to put this game down for a couple weeks.
I got Marge out of storage and the event started, so if you are still wondering about why it doesn’t start that’s why.
Forget about the dumb pride bomb (dumb Decor is – well dumb Decor!) enjoy the new Building, Drag Race, and surprises from the Pride Mystery Box (holy I. Edgar Hoover in drag!) 😅👍🏻
The only Prizes that should’ve been included this year as celebrity guests are Rupaul and Same Edna Everidge! 😉👉🏻

Other than coach pommelhorst, I’m pretty sure all the other building / characters in the pride mystery box are also available in the yearbook. So why should I spend 60 donuts compared to 30?

Thanks for updating the post – I came here first to check whether you had! I am quite excited about this event, because I think I might be able to pick up some items I missed in the past for the first time in ages. 5 minutes to go (at 2300 local time…)!
Maybe I was too enthusiastic. However nice to get some fire hydrants, billboard, flags and balloons, and also good to slot the new bar straight into town. I thought there was going to be a mystery box, though.
Anybody got any idea how St. Alissa copes with all the folks who post questions without looking to see if it has already been asked? 🙂

Lately whenever I try to open the game, I have to wait thru an 1874MB download! EA also has me re-sign in. Ideas on how to get back to normal? Thanks!!!

time to free up some space
install a micro SD card
(or update the device you’re using for TSTO)
Have at least 5 GIG of free space (ROM)
TSTO takes up a lot of Memory (most good Game Apps do)

I had just done that very thing then came here & saw this lol! I had to go back and drag my players out of everything
Well…it’s 10:23am ET right now. I have the update (game icon is back to normal, as is splash screen). I’ve completely rebooted my iPhone XR (had to look that up: volume up, volume down, hold side button until you see apple logo), and nearly all of my characters are free. But still no game auto-start. Does this event hearken back to events of old where you had to have a particular character free to trigger the first dialog?

It’s after 10am EST and nothing. Just downloaded the update a few minutes before 10 and nothing has shown up yet for the mini event. I think someone at EA has forgotten to hit the start button. Anybody else have this problem?

I keep getting an error when trying to sign in “an error occurred while processing the login please retry” how do I get this fixed I tried re downloading and still nothing
I had this problem, which seemed to happen when my WiFi was weak and my phone was swapping between 4G and WiFi. I force closed the app, turned the phone off, got into better WiFi signal area, turned on and restarted the app. You have to logout ‘1’ which appears where your name normally would, then add your age and re-sign in. I think each time I have then had the ‘another device’ message which I have ignored. Those steps have worked for me the 5 or so times it has happened since early April. Hope it helps you too.
I’m hoping we get a proper 4th of July update this year. It was a bit of a letdown last year when there was no new President. We haven’t gotten JFK, Ford, or FDR yet!
Of course, if they’re tired of 4th of July events, I and I assume others would be happy with a 1st of July Canada Day event, with Sir John A. Mavdonald, or Louis St. Laurent, or Bigfoot, or the Inuit Throat Singer / “Boob Lady”.
If they wanted to, they could also bring back more Canadian content like Virgil’s cabin, the Canadian flag, and Canadian Flanders.

Thanks for the info, but if the “prizes” are just costumes or the chance to drop 150 Donuts on a building/costume combo… sounds like a 2-week “meh”. Hope I’m wrong, I guess we’ll see…..

I was hoping for a pride this year and this event looks fun, however I wish we got some full characters like John or Karl
Last night I tried loading the game, about 7:00 CMT and it just stayed on the opening screen with the rotating donut. Game never did load. This morning, same thing, I them updated the game and got rid of the wrestling screen. Still can’t get the game to open. Anyone else having issues?
I’m just watching the clock countdown.
I know it is just a mini-event but if I don’t get a healthy dose of Pride I could feel as badly as the current virus makes others.
