It’s nice to always see a little normalcy in our lives right now…even if that normalcy comes in the form of a TSTO update! An all-new mini-event has hit our games, Pride 2020!
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Head Over Heels questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
So let’s take a look at prizes 1-3, Public Restroom, Curl Up and Dye, and the Pride Car…
First up, Public Restroom w/ Confusing Signage…
How You Get it:
Head Over Heels Pt. 1
Make Homer Recover From a Heart Attack- 4 hrs
Collect Wigs- x105.
Once you’ve completed the task you’ll automatically be awarded the restroom…

What Does it Do?: Animated when tapped. And Bart has a task there, unusual for a car decoration.

The Public Restroom w/ Confusing Signage – I kept because I lol everytime at it (what an homage to George Michael’s 1998 arrest – is that PG enough? I think so!) 😂
Curl Up & Dye – yes, we have a Salon with the same name in Las Vegas, too (it’s popular to have an amusing name – like Pink Kitty’s – I’ll let you guess what type of Salon that’s for!) 😀
Pride Car – put it in Storage (Bart has enough places to Task at, it’s kinda ‘meh’ for me that cars in TSTO don’t drive around town!) 😉
Had fun, rushed it with 🍩’s for obvious reasons, don’t enjoy the Bart Simpson Screens (but it’s still free to play!) We’re slowly beginning Phase 2 out here …. I hope everyone Stays Safe (and finds themselves in a Phase 2 while still being cautious) 🌜
Alissa, Curl Up and Dye was a salon owned by Mystery Woman, Jake Blues’ vengeful ex-fiancé in The Blues Brothers movie. (I assumed it was a fictitious salon.)
I was surprised to learn that the movie’s Curl Up and Dye Beauty Salon was based upon a real salon of that name, around 2830 North Clark in
Chicago.
(I tried to post a photo of the movie’s salon but, sadly, failed in several attempts.)
The Public Restroom with Confusing Signage is a neat little decoration that works in park areas. I would love to get more of them if it was an option (I’d spend donuts on them) since the only other “restrooms” available are the beast toilets and the smokehouses from Terwilligers. At least when the lights are on it shows that its occupied. I am actually confused by the signage (cheese and watch), anyone know what it means or references? 🚻🧀⌚
Curl Up and Dye is a cool looking building (I live about 30mins away from one in the UK) but it is bigger than a lot of the pride buildings but at least it isn’t tiny. The animation is ok (how long is that person’s hair? XD) and I wish there was more than one regular task here since Marge does have other 4 hour tasks. I put it near my Springfield mall area since I freed up some space near the mall. 💈💇🪞
The Pride Car is a fun looking decoration with many location possibilities including parks, pride areas, and theme parks. I tried to put it on roads but it didn’t work (no surprise there). I like that Bart has a task here (and Lisa has one at the restrooms) but It would’ve been cool if it was a visual one and at least it does something when tapped. I like the little references to the “Saturdays of Thunder” episode in the dialogue (maybe a hint to a future update?). I put it in a little pride park with the restrooms in front of the pride buildings in my town. 🌈🚀🏎️
Curl Up and Dye is too big. I was hoping it would look good next to Hairy Shearer’s, but it dwarfs it. Maybe they will shrink it like they did Helter Shelter years ago.
Every time I see Curl Up and Dye, I keep expecting to see Carrie Fisher reading a flamethrower manual – obviously the result of years and years rewatching a Chicago chase movie 🙂

For me…J Edgar is the winner. Mostly because seeing him in a dress give me pleasure. This was a horrible person in real life. Anything to make fun of him is fine with me.
