As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Pride Items, Mo’s, Sven Golly, Judge Harm, or J. Edgar Hoover to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

What Does It Do?: It’s a billboard, that’s about it.
My Opinion On It Now: Meh. It’s 5 donuts. If you like it get it. Otherwise, pass.
Item: Rainbow Balloons
Donut Cost: 10 Donuts
Previous Post: Balloons
Earns: .25% Bonus on all cash and XP
What Does It Do?: They’re Balloons. They float, anchored to the ground. If you’ve finished the Balloon questline (tapping balloons etc) you’ll unlock various “skins” to change the look of them.
My Opinion on it Now: TERRIBLE bonus % return. Pass.
Item: Rainbow Hydrant Bundle (6 Hydrants/bundle)
Donut Cost: 20 Donuts

Earns: .05% Bonus on all cash and XP each hydrant so .30% bonus for the pack
What Does It Do?: Animated when tapped, water shoots out from the top.
My Opinion: Bonus % is TERRIBLE. Downright AWFUL. However, they are Fire Hydrants. So if you feel like your Springfield needs more hydrants pick up a pack or two, otherwise pass. So basically buy for aesthetics.
Item: Mo’s
Donut Cost: 20 Donuts
What Does It Do?: Facade for Moe’s. Just changes the look for Moe’s.
Opinion on it Now: Pass. 20 donuts don’t really get you anywhere on this one…
Item: Master Hypnotist Tent and Sven Golly
Donut Cost: 120 Donuts

Earns: $200, 22xp/8hrs
What Does It Do?: Full character and “building” for Springfield.
Opinion on it Now: 120 donuts is cheaper than most character combos in Springfield…and it originally was a cash item. So not a bad pick up.
Item: Juvenile Courthouse and Judge Harm
Donut Cost: 150 Donuts

Earns: $200, 22xp/8hrs
What Does It Do?: Full character and building for Springfield.
Opinion on it Now: Unchanged really. The standard price, memorable character. Not a bad pickup.
Item: J. Edgar Hoover and Undercover Hoover Costume
Donut Cost: 199 Donuts

What Does It Do?: Full character and costume for said character.
Opinion on it Now: Wasn’t worth it then, not worth it now. I still don’t own him. 199 is too much to spend for a character and costume.

The rest didn’t interest me (but hey if you need it for your Pride Zone? go for it!) 🌈

I acquired one night stan’s in my game and I can generate the pride crosswalks. I have now placed 10 of them, but not one of them is allowing for the stripes to be painted. I don’t get the paint bucket popping up so I cant paint them.
Is there something that i am missing here?
I reinstalled the game last night and still nothing.
If I recall correctly you tap on the crosswalk itself and it goes through the iterations.
Had anyone else got the Mo’s just to find that it can’t be changed to anything else anymore. I purchased Mo’s previous and now the normal moe facade is gone and it is stuck on Mo’s.
I already had Mo’s from 2017 and Sven Golly and Master Hypnotist Tent from a Black Friday event. I’m passing on Judge Harm and J. Edgar Hoover and his costume since I’m chancing them to return at a cheaper price or in a mystery box. I am buying the rainbow and pride decorations to use in my pride area and other parts of my town.
Why would Sven Golly not appear in my game?
Not in the census list.
I’m not sure, he’s listed in the game files by EA as coming back with this update.
He came back in my game, and I got him.
Maybe Ruth already had him and didn’t realize, or maybe she had the accompanying building but not the character (although I don’t recall it being available separately).
No Sven golly in my game.
