Update time in Springfield! Just when you think they’re going to skip a week, EA jumps in at the eleventh hour with an update! What’s in store for us this time? Well, it’s a return to last year’s Game of Games event. The Game of Games sequel! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The Game of Games the Sequel Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting Arcade Tokens! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Dubstepping Up Your Game…

So I just put everyone that you can collecting tokens towards the third prize and the other two jobs. When I tapped Nelson I noticed a 2-hour job to play PaDubba the Dubsteppa. I don’t even have the item yet but it allows three kids to play is and it’s not on the event task list.
Very straightforward analysis of Act 1:
The Dialogue if funny but the prizes are pretty lame!
Looking through my inventory, trying to design, extrapolate what might come, what will work with arcades…..
I pulled out conflict enemies indoor stage, I think that is the name….
From last year this time, I think?
I can’t find reference to whether it has a purpose. If tasks occur.
I’m really excited about the bowling alleys. I only had one, but now I have four and will be able to send all my pin palls bowling
But again, does the conflict stage offer tasks?
There was tasks at the stage last year during the main questline but after the questline was completed and the event ended, there is no permanent tasks with the stage. It’s disappointing since the stage had a cool animation when used.
A different floor option that matched the arcade floor would have been a nice treat that allowed us to create a gaming area in our Springfield.
In general it would be nice to have more variety of floors. And the way they interact with each other could be looked at too. Like road over water = bridge. This doesn’t happen with any others annoyingly. Unless they haven’t bothered as that would count as more items we don’t have room for.
This became an item limit rant, that was not my intention. I still love this game. It relaxing in trying times.
I haven’t commented in a long time, but I’ve been following TSTO Addicts. Anyway……….
I don’t really follow the game dialogue very closely for most events, but I’m finding the dialogue for this event to be very entertaining. It makes me wonder what they have in store for us down the road. 🤔
Does anyone know if you can save the token for future events? I have all but one character available in the Mystery Box and I don’t want to get the remaining prizes.
No. But once the event ends, I think if you don’t use it you can convert to donuts. But not 100% certain

If I do not have Sophie because she’s a Premium character, will I not be able to continue with Parts 2 and 3?
Am I effectively forced to purchase her as a character for this event?
No, you won’t be forced to purchase. Quest only applies if you have her. If not that quest won’t appear for you.
I didnt get credit this morning for my round of event prize currency. I should have 80 but it’s still at 40. ??????
You’re experiencing a glitch that was mentioned @EAHelp with not much feedback from Tech Support (I feel as if they will tell you to reboot your device, Login again to the Game App, see if those missing Event Currency reappears – that feels like a project vs having fun Tapping). 🤔
My Wall E. Weasel’s has disappeared and the vacat lot is displaying random glitching graphics. Anyone else seeing this?
I often see glitching graphics. I think the game is getting too demanding for older devices. If you scroll away then back it may clear up. If you exit the game then return to see your building still missing, I’d contact tech support.
Just did a full uninstall and reinstall on my Tab 2 to no avail. Sound still works correctly on my Samsung galaxy phone.
I’m thinking maybe it’s game-related — The Game Master dialogue mentions him deleting items from the game. I don’t know if that would explain the graphics issue, though.
My wall e weasel building disappeared(got it in the Xmas event), is somebody having this same problem? I’m told that the actual Wall E weasel is an upcoming character whether it’s a PC or NPC, Will it be a bundle after all? Or is this problem being patched soon? Thanks in advance.
Given the dialogue has The Game Master talking about gaining the power to delete items from our games, I’m betting maybe this is on purpose and not a glitch (and will be restored once the storyline resolves).
This update just killed all music and sounds from the game. Anyone else see this bug?
Yes my sound is gone. I’m waiting for patch update or I’ll do a reinstall.
Mine works fine. Make sure it isn’t just turned off in your settings. Sometimes with an update, the defaults are altered.
Water sound was there as game loads then total silence as game play screen appears.
Exactly what happens for me too.
No, it’s really bugged, at least on both my Android devices. It starts with sound but after a few seconds it suddenly goes silent. Guess that’s one of the bugs that come with every event. Not very helpful with the Maggie mini game but other than that nothing I can’t live with for now.
My Galaxy Tab A (android), no sound. SFX max’ed. I got the tablet when my 5 inch diagonal phone was getting just too difficult for me to see to play on. However, I hadn’t uninstalled the game, so I tried it. The sound still works on the phone. hmmm Tablet software says it’s up to date. Ticket time to EA, I guess. bummer
At least you can get in. My husband and I just get the Bart screen. Over and over… Anyone else having problems?
I do have that issue as well, not consistently luckily. It usually occurs when my tablet falls asleep (because I get sidetracked) or when I try to login after the massive amount of “not this screen again ” crashes. And also the sound is gone, making the Maggie game a lot more challenging.
I noticed that on my phone the sound works and on my new tablet (galaxy S5e) as well, leading me to believe that it has something to do with the speed of the hardware (my phone and tablet are quite fast) my old tablet Galaxy A is (a lot) slower and there the sound stops as soon as the game actually starts (I get the crackling and birdies too). Also on my old tablet scrolling in huge Springfields is tremendously sluggish (my phone and new tablet all is as smooth as smooth can be 🙂 ) and it crashes frequently.
So that last prize really *is* just a token? I wondered if I saw that because I already had whatever char it was. I looked in the box and there’s nothing there I want. 😑
It’s just a token. But for each week it changes locations in the prize track (ie it’s not always the last one)
