Should I Spend Donuts On Wall E Weasel and the Broken Dreams Storage Locker?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Update time in Springfield!  Always nice to see new content in TSTO, as the latest event has hit our games.  Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Wall E Weasel and the Broken Dreams Storage Locker to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this combo to your town…

Building/Decoration: Broken Dreams Storage Lockers
Character: Wall E Weasel

6×10

$200, 22xp/8hrs
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +400

WDTCF?: Lockers: “Day of the Jackanapes” S12, E13 Wall-E-Weasel: “Radio Bart” S3, E13

Leaves stores July 16th, 2020

Note: I’m trying something different with SIB posts.  Instead of giving Pros and Cons I’m just going to give you a rundown of the character. (basically combine both lists)  Pros and Cons are subjective to whoever is making the list, this way you get the info and can form your own opinions.
Also, instead of final thoughts, I’m just going to tell you what I did.  In the age of donut farming, it seems many of you just want the info about the character, as the value for the donuts spent doesn’t mean as much.

The Rundown:
-Helps earn event currency for this entire event, at a premium rate
-Not voiced
-Comes with questline
-Two visual tasks that are ok.
-Visual Tasks are 1hr and 4hrs
-Storage lockers are animated when in use, locker opens and you can see a TV on inside.

What Did I Do?:
Grabbed it.  Why not?

Here’s a look at the tasks…

Wall E Weasel’s Permanent Tasks:

Look for a New Job 24hrs $1,000, 225xp Office of Unemployment/Broken Dreams Storage Lockers/Brown House

  1. Hilarious character! Also adding pretty flair to the city. If I had the sprinkles I would buy Weasel instantly. I would set the malfunction costume task on all the time haha

Thank you as always for this great detail on the Weasel weasling about

  2. Instant purchase, just looking at him makes me laugh.

  3. Another point that could be included is that Wall E. Weasel uses Wall E. Weasel’s in the questline and for a permanent task since only Bart and Milhouse uses the building for an hour task plus Wall E. Weasel’s has only been around once or twice since it isn’t in the yearbook. I’m surprised that he doesn’t say “Why don’t you go bug your parents?” when you tap him.

After going through the task line for wall e I decided to place some rakes around the storage locker. You’ll see that if I remember to submit for the show off announcement.

  5. Warning: If there are children reading this comment, please stop reading and find someone else’s comment to read instead.

is it safe? ok, now for the adults in the room, specifically Alissa; I understand Wall E Weasel is a fictional character and more importantly this character is an unseen person (except for the eyes) inside a Costume of the fictional Character (Wall E Weasel) so upon breaking down of the facts such as Building/decoration; Donut Cost, Size, Earns, etc. I have been noticing the second fact called “Costume” which may not confuse use common-sense adults.. but as Helen Lovejoy might say “Can someone PLEASE think of the children!” Because this character as well as Strawberry (SIB) are characters and not Costumes nor Skins.

I made a quick joke in the Strawberry SIB post’s comments and my OCD and inner Grammar-extremist felt the desire to express the formats flaw, otherwise I like the new SIB format (eliminating the pro and con sections and combining them) , keep up the good work Alissa, I hope your children didn’t read this post over your shoulder (I didn’t want to disillusion them about the Wall E Weasel News) and also if they have read it, good for them, their reading skills are getting good 👍 :p

  6. As for the character Wall E Weasel, EA should have given him a “serve pizza” or “cater a pizza party” task (visual or not)

    tsk tsk EA

Or maybe a Señor Beaveratti (animatronic) Birthday Band, item.

  7. I got this quickly mainly because I was eyeing the Storage Facility the moment Side Show Bob revealed “Wise-Guy”s name (Raphael), you won’t know how exciting that moment was o finally have an actual name for that character.
I also Hoped upon Hoped that when he storage facility did come or game that we would be able to have a better storage system then the inventory box, (sure they made improvements with the bundling but.. idk was hoping for some percentage bonus along with storing items/buildings etc..)
I’m just gonna have to hope for a Genesis Tub storage system (that probably won’t happen either )

  8. Such a weird design. Love it

  9. To get the most out of these Events? spend the sprinkles on those new Premiums worthwhile (Characters that come with a Building, or Decor that increases your Bonus %, as well as help obtain Event Currency, are worth it to me). This is a keeper ’cause he has Character Tasks at 2 great Buildings (Wall E. Weasel’s and Broken Dreams Storage Lockers!) 😀👍🏻

Your other option? Enjoy the Event Prizes (and don’t complain if it wasn’t worth the Grind when they suck!) 😂

FYI – even I’ve had to clear Cache and/or Reinstall TSTO (it’s free to download, it’s free to play, EA doesn’t have time to care!) 🤷🏼‍♂️

Mad ’cause you have to hunt down that “other Building” in the Mystery Box? Sheee(it!) … I still got the Evil Building + Krusty Talking Doll and EA still won’t offer up Evil Shopkeeper on his own! (at least you can find what you want and but it!) 🙄

I don’t think I’ll ever own Ms. Sinclair or the Terwilliger parents 🙁

Bought all the premiums for the event so far. Very much like Strawberry & the Weasel is ok.

      • It got most of the Terwilliger Family during ‘that Event’ many years ago …. thanks to the Mystery Box, I completed the Collection of Characters (Sideshow Bob’s Wife with their Mansion, his Son – these were all Premiums originally) …. but I hope you obtained the Community Stage, too (the Terwilliger Family have great Visual Tasks there) 😀

  10. Thanks a lot Alissa! I bought it because why not, nice questline, helps with the event… good buy all in all 👍

  11. What is the bonus %? Or was your reference to that just a copy and paste error from a previous SIB? (I can’t check that out for myself right now, because I don’t want to put him in storage while he’s working on a task.)

  12. with too many donuts.. why not. it’s not like it really cost me anything. and what I spent for it I can make that up x3 in 4 hours.
Nothing in the vault to buy… I don’t get the yearbook anymore so it only makes sense to buy new things.
I wish they would bring back the Flander’s family reunion stuff back. I lost most of that event in an EA screw up.

    • How do you get so many donuts? I am level 58 and I can get around 25-30 donuts tops per week.

      • Keep leveling up (increase all of your stats to their max), invest in anything that increases your Bonus % level ….. and farm 🍩’s (Safi wrote a detailed guide on how to do that).

      • If you’re a donut farmer, maxed out to 939 and able to earn a decent amount of cash, the donuts flow. I only have 448% on the conform-o-meter and I can easily make more than 25-30 donuts in four hours.

        Concentrate on maximizing XP.

Build a kwik-e-mart and see what that does for your XP level.

Read Safi’s article that CJ referred to, that is sage advice.

        • Building Kwik-E-Marts isn’t the end goal…selling them is. Too many people think that Kwik-E-Mart farming is about building a bunch of Kwik-E-Marts and collecting rent from them. Really, the point is to build them and then sell them to get back most of your money but earning a lot of XP as you’re building them. Best is if you can get and turn in the Collider, so you can multiply your XP “income” by 5. Also, once you do earn donuts from farming, use some of them to buy Mr. Burns’ mystery box stuff, as, if you do it regularly, is a great way to get items that will up your multiplier.

There are lots of other great tips… I suggest you do some searching on the site (using the sites search function at the top) to find older articles that describe a lot of these strategies. You might want to search for terms like farming and multiplier. The goal is to build your multiplier as high as you can….eventually, if you build it high enough and have the collider, you can earn more donuts than you can spend, just by doing normal stuff, like collecting on buildings and tasks, without ever having to farm again.

  13. A plus for me is that it goes nicely with the other storage facility which is super plain looking. I’m still waiting for the Capital City Goofball to pull a Pinocchio and became a playable character. Let’s do it, EA!
