Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Who’s up for another exciting prize post?  Yea…I’m right there with you.  Excitement isn’t exactly the ideal word to describe the Act 2 track.  But, nevertheless, it’s still important to break them down.  If for nothing else, so I can point to this post 6 months from now when they reappear in a mystery box somewhere.  😉

  1. Oh, the event currency prize (read as 12 donuts) was for everyone?
I’d just assumed it cave a costume or thingy that I already had

    • The event currency prize is a token for the mystery box available in the event which has 13 returning items in there (10 from last year’s Game of Games event and the other 3 are the Satellite Station, Sequel Stop, and Simpson Laser Tag which are also in the yearbook). The 12 donuts is to everyone that doesn’t have the event’s mystery box because they already have the items inside it.

  2. My wife put the space simulator in storage & now it’s gone. She rebooted her iPad, deleted the app & reinstalled & it’s still not there. Told her to contact EA support & report it as a bug.

    • It sounds like a glitch that the Mrs could get assistance via Twitter @EAHelp (this is the 2nd Game App glitch for this Event).

      Hope Tech Support helps 👍🏻

  3. Lee Carvallo Standee isn’t a bad decoration since it goes well with the Mini Golf Castle and Sir Putt-A-Lot’s. At least it has a sound which is the same as the Mini Golf Castle but it could’ve had an animation (maybe it falls forward because a golf ball hit it and someone puts it back up). In case anyone is interested, it appeared in season 7, episode 11 “Marge Be Not Proud” appearing in the Android’s Dungeon when CBG sold out on Bonestorm and had a load of Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge games. ⛳🏰🏌️

The Space Simulator is a cool decoration which goes well with the Deep Space Homer stuff. I’m disappointed that it didn’t get used for tasks during part 4 of the questline (maybe Martin could’ve had a visual task here). The animation did make me laugh. ICAIS again, it appeared in the “Deep Space Homer” episode (season 5, episode 15) when Homer and Barney used it during training before going into space. 🚀👩‍🚀👨‍🚀

Bart’s Moon Mansion is a fun building which I unlocked today plus it is a better final prize than a token. I thought it was going to be a Gil deal when the deals were expensive buildings in the past. I’m glad there’s a task and an animation here at least but I wish there was more animations like the band, dancers and R2D2 playing the bass being included. It probably goes well with the sci-fi stuff. 🌑🎸🌍

Bart’s Moon Mansion was the best act 2 prize, 2nd best was The Game Master, 3rd was the token (I got the CoE Battle Arena & SmellYaL8r in the box), 4th was the Space Simulator and 5th was the Lee Carvallo Standee.

    • Space Simulator definitely needed Character Tasks (it’s funny to Tap, but Astronaut Homer & Barney having Tasks on it would’ve been fab).

Bart’s Moon Mansion is a great Building (hopefully more Characters get Tasks there besides Bart). 👍🏻

  4. I have decided to save as many donuts as possible in order to get the Golden Goose Realty or the Donut Factory or God or any other sort of items that kind in a (I’m afraid not so close) future. What do you think about the next 4th of july? Any chance for a new treat/deal with/from Gil or the return of some of those?

    • Fingers crossed for you.

Golden Goose Realty (when it was giving me land tokens), Donut Factory, and God are amongst my favourite buildings and character (and I’ll throw Yellow Submarine in this category). Donut Factory gives me donuts every 24 hours, Yellow Submarine potentially Tiles, and God earns $777,777 every 24 hours. Hope you get them.

    • MangoFusion01

Those are good items to target. The GGR has only been available twice. I don’t have the donut factory and dont really think that I am missing out on anything. As Safi states that $777,777 every 24 hours is huge, especially when you consider your dollar multiplier. You can use this cash for donut farming.

I am not sure when they will next be available.

The times that I save up for are (in order of when they should show up) July 4th, hopefully a new president (and not a fake one) and lots of stuff comes back, Halloween (one of the bigger and better annual events, lots of items reappearing, black Friday (lots of good deals, save up lots of donuts for that) and finally Christmas, again, a big annual event with lots of returning content.

With yearbook mystery box, there is a lot of content there that kind of cuts into the black Friday stuff.

      Good luck.

  5. Act 2 was a step up from Act 1 with new Content …. but not by much (and I’ll still say, if it wasn’t for the availability of new Premium Content? or prior Content of interest in the newest Mystery Box? this Event would not be rewarding!)

Lee Carvallo’s Standee – dumb Decor (gets Stored) and truly dumb when you can get Lee Carvallo with the Mini Golf Castle from the Mystery Box.

Space Simulator – it’s dumb Decor, but I’ve actually learned to appreciate the animation when tapped (we’ll see how long it takes me to Store this).

Bart’s Moon Mansion – 💯 agree that this Building was the best Event Prize for Act 2 (Bart’s Character Task is cool, I enjoy the animation for this Building) next to the Premium Character Combo.

It’s a C+ / B- Event (so far), let’s see if Act 3 / Act 4 can elevate this (weekends off from Tapping, so I’ll check out Act 3 on Monday).

  6. i liked the first act.. am a gamer.. so it hit the right marks with me.. now this second act is… Meh…. the last prize is truly the only item worth it…

  7. Waste of time (Act two) ! Please give us something more relevant to the
Simpson’s! Thanks. We end up with a lot of stuff in storage.
