It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I posted this a little earlier than usual because Game of Games The Sequel Act 3 will be hitting our games in a short while (11am ET). Thoughts on the first 2 Acts? Ready for Act 3?

Also, in big and exciting news…the kids and I are finally getting haircuts this afternoon! (I’ve been cutting my husband’s hair at home. I’m getting pretty good at it too, he only has 2 bald patches this time 😉 )

Unlocked the last land tile and am $192,231,401 away from the max cash. I think I’ll spend some time redesigning since all the land is finally in locked.
Will there be another bracket battle this summer? I love the bracket battles. I think its time for a new character one, since so many on the original bracket have been added, but there are some still not in.

Good morning! I cannot get into my game . I got in first thing this morning. Tried to get in an hour or so later but I just get the screen and the donut going around and around! What do I do now?

I watched the season 31 finale of The Simpsons last night and it definitely was the best episode of the season because it had heart, humour, and even throwbacks to the very first episode plus Cate Blanchett’s character Elaine Wolff had a big role in the episode rather than just doing a couple of lines. Season 31 was a good season overall even though I missed the premiere and “Livin La Pura Vida” episodes plus the “Playdate with Destiny” short.
I really wish EA would still release episode tie ins in the game since most of the season 31 episodes including “THoH XXX”, “Thanksgiving of Horror”, “The Miseducation of Lisa Simpson”, “Bart the Bad Guy”, “Highway to Well”, “Warrin Priests”, and “The Way of the Dog” has great potential content to be added to TSTO. It would also be a change to the constant mini and multi-events that we currently get.
Agreed. Both about the season and the game.

I like the part where you say, “ Stay safe. Wash your hands. Social distance. Remember, we’re all in this together,” but how about adding “Wear a mask”? That’s so crucial to stopping the spread…..it’s not a political statement – it’s a public safety imperative in any situation in which you’re near to, or interacting with, people who are not in your “safety bubble”!
For starters I wrote that in early march, and never changed it.
Also, as someone who has a child with asthma who has had several asthma attacks recently form wearing masks for a prolonged period of time, I will never preach that which i don’t make my kids follow.
I do, and have always demanded they wash their hands. Not washing your hands (or hand sanitizing) is just gross. Corona or no corona.

I have same problem but only since yesterday. Uninstalled and reinstalled and changed password but no luck. Anyone know how else to fix besides contacting EA?

I’m going to guess never since a Google search on who owned the movie rights to Spinal Tap revealed an article that said Harry Shearer and others on the film are suing Universal for $400 million in back royalties. Maybe if EA can talk Harry into dropping the lawsuit, Universal would be so grateful- they’ll let Tapped Out use their likeness for free. Wouldn’t hurt to ask. 😁

I think we only got Stephen Hawking because he didn’t ask for any money to use his image. I hold out hope John Waters will one day do the same, maybe Lady Gaga. After learning RuPaul sold the mineral rights to his Wyoming ranch to an oil company- he’s all about the money, forget about him. Tapped Out is already treading water, they aren’t about to pay for guest stars to appear in the game. Hard truth Tappers hoping for guest star characters. Sorry.

You’d think with all of those donuts that we’ve been giving Gil over all these years that he’d be able to afford something better than a storage locker to live in.
When will we see the next Gil deal? Hopefully it will be better than last events deal where it was just the premium character for the event quest lines.

I reckon that Gil deals must be on a par with villager trading deals in minecraft in terms of most crappy exchanges in gaming territory!
For non Minecraft players the villager trades are notoriously unreasonable.
