Ready for more Game of Games? It’s time for Act 3…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on July 16th. However, Act 4 will start on July 7th.
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Milhouse, Bart, Martin, and Nelson…
Milhouse: Guys, I found another one of The Game Master’s high scores. It’s in Chunky Island.
Bart: Isn’t that the adventure game where you play as a kid trying to escape fat camp?
Martin: I read that the kids get separated from the camp counselors and have to fend for themselves. Like that book with the British kids stranded on an island. You know, the one whose name I can’t say because it hasn’t yet entered public domain.
Bart: Nelson, I think you should play Chunky Island.
Nelson: You calling me fat, Simpson?
Bart: No…but you’re the only one of us who has any experience putting pig heads on spikes.
Nelson: Only because it makes them easier to carry home from the butcher shop. It’s the only pork my mom can afford.
This triggers the Act 3 questline, A Fat Lot of Good, and is followed by a 4hr task Nelson, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (175). A Fat Lot of Good is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…
We still don’t have an update package from EA, and it doesn’t appear that we’re going to get one. So, I do not have a synopsis to share with you on this Act. However, as per usual, I will be posting the full dialogue as this Act progresses.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the A Fat Lot of Good questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

Best things are “Toys were us” store and the premium combo, otherwise the other prizes are very Meh-ish.
Can’t really comment on the dialogue because I just zoomed through it as I’m busy redesigning my town and other stuff in the Real world!
Act 3 (Whoopee!) 🙄
1st, I spent the sprinkles for Cosine Tangent with the Springfield Multicultural Center (Premium Character Combo) because “yay! more Nerds!” , helps earn more Event Currency and Act 3 Event Prizes don’t offer much (boooo!)
I also obtained The Castle of Equalia w/Princess Skin for Lisa Simpson in the Mystery Box (30 🍩’s vs 150 🍩’s – yep! that’s a bargain!) …. now onto what’s good and what’s crap in Act 3 (and yes I expedited with 🍩’s!)
Toys Were Us – this Building is cool and went into my Shelbyville! 👍🏻
Shower Computer – dumb dumb dumb Decor (this is crap so it got stored!) 👎🏻
Pirate Nelson – it’s a Character Skin, but it’s only the 2nd for Nelson (don’t forget SmellYaL8r!) and his Quest is fun (voiced new dialogue is funny!) 👍🏻
Waterslide Tree – I already had it, and guess what happens if you do, too? (absolutely nothing! not a 🍩, nor 💰! crap for grinding and not a damn thing for it! guess what hand gesture I’m sending EA via Twitter / Facebook – but not on TSTO Addicts – ’cause yep I’m that 😠 and not defending this sort of crap!) 👎🏻
Token – thanks for the 🍩’s (yep! nothing left for me in the Sequel Mystery Box!) it’s either a 👍🏻 or a 👎🏻 depending on how you look at it (I guess that’s better than nothing, so yay?!)👍🏻
Can we say 2 out of 4 ain’t bad? sure, but it’s still more crap vs Prizes you’ll appreciate! 1 Building, 1 Character Skin (if you didn’t spend the sprinkles for that new Character Combo? then Act 3 gives you more crap vs rewards just like Act 2 did!) 🤷🏼♂️
I appreciate the new Premium (lots of fun), some of the Event Prizes (but not one voiced new Character!) …. yet so much crap Prizes that I won’t defend EA (not even with Covid-19!) and that nothing for the Waterslide Tree really made me 😠 !!
Back to Login and Tap and farm 🍩’s, only every 2 to 3 days, ’cause the addiction is wearing off (L-EA-Z-Y truly doesn’t care about Long Time Tappers at all!) 🙄
Is the animation for the water slide tree automatic or associated with a task? If a task, whose? Thanks

Is it me, or the updates are getting lamer and lamer?
no sound random freeze ups issues in collecting from neighbours ea has some stuff that needs fixing
if you get no sound when playing. Leave the game, open another app that has sound like solitaire then close it out go back to Tapped Out and you will get sound again.. this happens to me from time to time and this is how I correct it.
I stopped going to neighbours since most of mine don’t have anything to collect … and over the past couple of years.. neighbours has become irreverent to the game itself.
I think I may have to write this event off as I haven’t been able to play since Friday. The game won’t load and all I get is the splash screen and a spinning donut. I have reported it so fingers crossed.
This happened to me a few times. I uninstalled and re-installed the game and that took care of it. Provided you have a log in and your password. Good luck!
Yay… another skin for Nelson from this event… Are they running out of ideas or something? Couldn’t have the ogre one be a full character, or be someone else’s skin…
Do you have to get the water slide tree before you reach the animation prize? Or can you get the water slide tree after you get the prize?
You get the Waterslide Tree with the animation prize as long as you don’t already own the Waterslide Tree.
Do you know if there will be a 4th July mystery box this year?
The prizes seem okay this time. Toys Were Us is something I’m looking forward to unlocking since I don’t have Toys B This and Babies B This so its nice for me to have a toy store in my town. I remember the Shower Computer from the “E My Sports” episode (which is what the episode the first GoG event is based on). Pirate Nelson looks cool since he was in a Halloween episode and its Nelson’s first freemium costume. I already have the Waterslide Tree so I just got the task to unlock, still its neat that there’s a task at the tree now. It’s great to have another Super Friend in the game and the multicultural center has an interesting design.
What an incredible “Meh” hodgepodge of prizes this round.
I’d rather have a Larry-the-Looter NPC, or Slugfest characters or Slugfest skins for Homer and Bart, or Howie (the kid that trained Homer on Slugfest), or even a Bible-Blaster mini-game.

I agree! I was excited the first week with the Dub Steppah game decoration, hoping there would be more of these to make my E4/CofE area into the outdoor expo area I was visualizing. I was sorely disappointed when the calendar came out. Any of the arcade games on the splash screen, or the games you mentioned would have been better than what we’re getting. Does it get more EALP than giving us the ‘Babies B This’ again as ‘Toys Were Us’? LAME.
I think EA could’ve released the arcade games from the Arcade Cabinets as separate 1×1 size cash decorations or released some more arcade games from the show (again as tiny 1×1 cash decorations) since there is a lot they could choose from.
Must admit they are pretty poor aren’t they.

No, you get the Waterslide Tree and the animation if you don’t have the tree but if yo do have the tree then its just the animation.
