Game of Games the Sequel Prize Guide: Act 3, Prizes 1, 2, and 4, Toys Were Us, the Shower Computer, and Waterslide Tree

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time my friends.  Time for another riveting prize post.  I can feel your excitement now.  Calm yourselves.  😉

I know it’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but as I always say it’s still important to break these down.  Helps with various questions and, if nothing else, I can point to this post 6 months from now when they reappear in a mystery box.

Act 3 is broken up a bit differently than Act 2 was.  This time around we’ve got 2 prizes, then the costume and then another prize.  So, for the purposes of this post, we’re just going to cover the building/decoration/animated job prizes…and not the costume.  We’ll cover Pirate Nelson in a separate post.

And that’s it my friends, the details on the third round of Game of Games the Sequel prizes…

Up next? I’ll be covering prize 3, Pirate Nelson (a costume), tomorrow.

Thoughts on act 3?  How are you doing with the prize track? Still, working on it? Sound off below!

  1. Hey, no event premium item guide? I wanna know whether it’s worth spending doughnuts 🙂

Also, can anyone please help me unlock Report Card’s last quest?? I have the Mapple Store and all other requirements..??

  2. Toys Were Us is a cool looking building which I had to look up the episodes it was from since I didn’t remember the episodes (one was the actual building and the other was the store’s name on a bag). I’m glad to have this building as a prize since I currently don’t own Toys B This and Babies B This because I didn’t spend the donuts and money on them (I’m waiting for them to return either in a mystery box or at a rebate), but then again this building would probably look good with Toys and Babies B This so I’m not sure where to put it yet. I’m happy that The Game Master has his 24h task at Toys Were Us since I sent him on it and it went to the Krusty Burger instead before act 3 started. The animation isn’t that great since I kind of expected more from it because I thought there might be an extra animation of a kid/kids running into or out of the store. 🧸🪀🔫

The Shower Computer is a random prize even for EA since this is an item from inside the Simpsons House made into an outdoor decoration. I was surprised to find Bart’s visual task here since I remembered the scene of it from the episode (thanks for the shout out Alissa). It could’ve been released in the Game of Games event last year since the majority of the items in the event was from the same episode the Shower Computer was in. I added it to my E4 area since I didn’t know where else to put it. 🚿🖥️⌨️

I got Waterslide Tree from a mystery box in the zoo event nearly 2 years ago so I just unlocked the task. I have this in a little nature area I made a while ago and haven’t moved it since. It’s a great item alone since it generates income, has a 3% bonus and is always animated plus it was originally 100 donuts in the store 3 years ago. Martin’s task is pretty funny and its good that its 2 hours long instead of 4 (since Martin already has plenty of 4 hour tasks).🛀🌊🌳

Overall, Toys Were Us is the best prize of the three, then Martin’s task (and the Waterslide Tree) and finally the Shower Computer is the worst prize of the act.

  3. I’d like to know what the noise is that Toys Were Us makes. Anybody have a guess?

  4. Update: I have the tree, that’s why. Pays to read the Addicts posts first Doh!

  5. Well, I didn’t get the shower slide in my game. Just ticked the box. Checked inventory too. What gives EA?

    • Check your general inventory rather than going to specific decorations folder. Perhaps you’ll find it there.

  6. Just passed the water slide tree but didn’t place it and can’t find it in my inventory or in my town. Wish I could do a search for it.

  7. Toys Were Us – goes swell in my Shelbyville (Milo / Game Master can enjoy his 24 Hours Character Task!) 😅

Shower Computer – even with a 1 Hour Character Task for Bart Simpson, it’s just dumb (for me when there are better Tasks to send Bart on!) 🙄

Waterslide Tree – you grind for a Character Task? (yep! got Tree? got not a lot for grinding!) Ok it’s an animated Character Task – but so was Carl picnicking in front of his Dad’s Cave (and that was insulting, too for an Event Prize!) 🙄

Act 3 = 2 out of 4 worth your time (and the Character Skin was one of the better!) 🤔

  8. I quite like the “animated task as prize” as a thing. Not as much as a new character or a new costume for a character without one, but after that. I reckon it’s something EA could make greater use of as they’re clearly struggling to pad out events.
For me, animated tasks are what gives the game its whimsy. And it’s the whimsy that provides me entertainment between events.
It’d be nicer if an animated task prize came with a single step quest to introduce the task, a) so you know it exists, and b) so you can find it.
I’m a long time player, so my Martin has a shed-load of tasks. And I’m scrolling through them looking for something new. Something with a tree? I could’ve just come here and asked, but sometimes I like to at least try to solve my own problems before doing that. 😉

Thanks for providing these references Alissa!

InB4 (Yes it’s easy to find, but better game design would be introducing it so the player doesn’t have to.)

  9. Act 3 finished, 😁👍🐢🐌🍺🍻

  10. I will have the shower computer a little later today. Due to the expanded acts, I’m only playing 1-2 times a day. It takes 10 minutes or more to get into the game and another 20-30 minutes to clear everything as I have 450+ characters. By that time, I’m not in the mood to do much as I know EA will kick me out shortly and sometimes before I collect everything. Game has gone from a must play multiple times a day to a when I’m bored, I’ll play. EA needs to fix the issues so many of us have complained for years and build up the content to match the writing which has phenomenal lately.

  11. Hi Alissa, there’s a 1 hour visual task for Bart at the Shower Computer called “Play Games in the Shower”. It kind of makes a lackluster prize slightly less lackluster.

    • Ah I missed that! Usually, I’m so good about checking the files for tasks, but on the shower computer I was so “meh” about it I didn’t even bother lol.

      • I think a lot of people would’ve missed it since it was kind of hidden in Bart’s task list (it didn’t appear until the Shower Computer was unlocked). It surprised me since I remembered the one scene it was from and I thought “wouldn’t it be cool if there was a task there for Bart like in the episode.” then EA surprises me and they create a visual task for it just like in the episode.
