Update time in Springfield! Always nice to see new content in TSTO, as the latest mini-event has hit our games. Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Note: I’m trying something different with SIB posts. Instead of giving Pros and Cons I’m just going to give you a rundown of the character. (basically combine both lists) Pros and Cons are subjective to whoever is making the list, this way you get the info and can form your own opinions.
Also, instead of final thoughts, I’m just going to tell you what I did. In the age of donut farming, it seems many of you just want the info about the character, as the value for the donuts spent doesn’t mean as much.

I do not know how to farm donuts (cannot figure it out), so I still really need to know if an item (currently the Summer Games 2020) is a good value for my tiny stash of donuts.

With regards to the Chairman, this post as all the info my old should i buy posts did its just written in list form instead of pros and cons. As pros and cons vary per person…whats a pro for me maybe a con for you. But all the info is there. The only thing I don’t do on these posts now is tell you what to do. But you’ve got all the info to make your own informed decision. 🙂
I bought the character/villa combo because my current policy is to buy all the premium characters that help with events/mini-events. To power through them more quickly….
The Summer Games Villa is a nice looking building that works with other villas, Canadian areas, and by the mountains. Like Alissa said, it has 3 hour task for the Summer Games Chairman there and he goes there to earn cheap trophies (at least until you unlock and place the Summer Games HQ since he goes there instead) and it can be used by characters who go to random homes. The animation is the windows and doors lighting up and smoke comes out of the chimneys.
The Summer Games Chairman is a decent character who has an extra permanent task to the usual 5 tasks (1,4,8,12,&24 hours). He’s voiced with 4 different sounds. He uses the Springfield Mall, Sprawl Mart, Curl Up and Dye and Duff Garden which are rarely used by characters and most of them have one character task at each of them. He also uses the Red Blazer Realty and the Practice Rink (the one that comes with Lewis Clark) in his questline. His 1 hour task is pretty funny with the different types of faulty sports equipment and his 8 hour task is another one to add to the podium collection. 😀

If only they would bring back more of the Aspirational (?) buildings and other items [the ones which were priced at multi-millions of in-game cash). I keep hitting the max limit if IGC, after only being able to chip at it with a few items.

Summer Games Villa and the Summer Games Chair – although I saw on YouTube this is a voiced Character, I passed on this Character Building Combo …. I’m running out of room and now I’m eliminating those Buildings that don’t have Character Tasks from my Springfield (this Mini Event is dumb! well the grind for Event Prizes is dumb …. the Game Play for Patriotic Homer & Stephanie Brockman were funny!)
EA isn’t trying anymore, so why bother to Tap when you got to edit your Springfield to make room for the new Content (maybe this should be Thursdays Musings? that and real world problems aka what TSTO was used to escape from).
Thanks for the review Alissa, always nice to read them. I bought this, because I liked the design of the villa. This in contrast to most of the latest new buildings, which I find “crass” compared to the buildings from about 2 years ago. This event is fun, but still hope for a real event with something other than 4 hours of tasks. Even something familiar, like digging for diamonds or visiting friends on assignment, would be a welcome change.
