Addicts Bracket Challenge: Most Desired Real Life Celebrity, Week 4

It was six years ago, just after the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket was complete that I thought it might be cool to do a The Simpsons Tapped Out bracket. Here we are in the oddest of NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs of all times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and it’s time for our sixth TSTO Addicts Bracket Battle!

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there have been A LOT of incredible guest stars appearing as themselves in the rich history of The Simpsons universe. A rare few of these (like Stephen Hawking and Weird Al) have made their way into our games. However, hundred are still not in our little game. There is so much in fact, that it was hard just to narrow it down to 64 entries to start with. I thought of making the Bracket Battle start with 128 entries, but we’d be battling well into fall. With that in mind, we present to you TSTO Addicts’ Most Desired Real Life Celebrity Bracket Battle.

For rules and regulations, check out the Week 1 post here.

  1. K sm glad that Neil DeGrasse Tyson got out voted.

    MY GALAXY INCLUDES PLUTO !

  2. I spent ages typing my submisions and reasons only to accidently delete it all!

In Summary: Cyndi Lauper ( Great Singer ) , Susan Sarandon ( Interesting Person ), Stephen King ( one of my favourite authors ), Linda McCartney ( National Treasure and Hippy Chick ), George Harrison ( UK’s answer to Ghandi ), Tom Hanks ( So mant great roles ), Wayne Gretzky ( honestly, just a guess ), Jay Leno ( More familiar than other choice )

  3. Looks like Stan Lee is gearing up for his appearance in round 2.

Sticking with my prediction of Lee vs Nimoy in the final.

For some of the options this week my thought was “can’t they both lose?”.

  4. Does anyone want Larry Burns?

  5. FEMALE SINGER
Dolly Parton …big star via double entendre😬

    FEMALE ACTORS
Brooke Shields …bit cooler but close call😎

    AUTHORS / JOURNALISTS
Stephen King😈 …Clancy is classic though so very tough choice

    SCIENTISTS / ACTIVISTS / ENTREPRENEURS / POLITICIANS
Janet Reno …but more character participation but Stella remains special👌

    MALE SINGERS
    🌈Ringo Starr …another historic hard choice🎶

    MALE ACTOR
Mel Gibson …very close call setting the meltdown creepiness aside & solid Hanks classiness🎬

    ATHLETES
    Wayne Gretzky …bit more classic👌

    COMEDIANS
    Conan O’Brien ..esp w/his prod background😉

  6. Richard Hanlon

Girls want ro have more fun. Jay washing krusty hair. It is Tom Hanks come on! Marge and Ringo what more can be siad.

  7. FEMALE SINGER

Cyndi Lauper (this is getting harder, I ♥️ Dolly Parton, too!)

    FEMALE ACTORS

just like the Film THE HUNGER (1982) I vote Susan Sarandon (Brooke Shields was always nice to everybody on the Paramount Studios lot, I’d vote for her, too if I could!)

    AUTHORS / JOURNALISTS

Stephen King gets my vote (although I got to say those Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Games are pretty stellar!)

    SCIENTISTS / ACTIVISTS / ENTREPRENEURS / POLITICIANS

Linda McCartney (I miss her 💔) we could use a Janet Reno in the White House (we just don’t need another six-year-old Elián González incident!)

    MALE SINGERS

George Harrison (miss him 💔) or Ringo Starr (this is really getting harder!)

    MALE ACTOR

Tom Hanks (sorry, Mel, but that meltdown still scares me!)

    ATHLETES

Wayne Gretzky (that was Canadian vs Canadian hard! I respect the Hart Family!)

    COMEDIANS

Team Coco (Conan O’Brien!) He would be the BEST Celeb Character put in TSTO before it ends (but he needs to be voiced!)

Thank you, Safi ….. and yes, this is proving that you’ll be choosing between 2 favourites most of the time!

    • Great pics. Let’s see if the majority votes with you. The athletes category was really tough for me too. I’m a huge Gretzky fan and a huge Hart family fan.

  8. There was a tricky one where I had to choose between a celebrity that I really like verses one I really do not; however as far as the show/game the one I dislike had a bigger impact per episode(s)

    • If I had to guess, I would say the celebrity you really like is Conan O’Brien, and the celebrity you do not is Jay Leno. Am I right?

  9. Seriously….ringo or george?
What kind of torture is that?

    But….Bret Hart!!! ❤❤❤WOOOOOOOOO!

    • Those were the toughest two for me. George versus Ringo. And Wayne Gretzky versus Bret Hart.

    • “There can be only one”, from the film Highlander.

Unless of course there is a tie. Honestly, what happens if there is a tie?

But Brett Hart? Ok Wayne Gretzky is no Bobby Orr, but seriously?

  10. TallSpiderCandy

These were the most difficult choices for me so far!! Thanks Safi – these are always such fun, can’t wait to see the results!!! 🥰
