It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Anyone ever run into an issue where your characters get trapped in a job? I’ve got a bunch of characters stuck on a 4 hour task that won’t release them. It’s been maybe 2 weeks now…. I can tap them & collect the money & XP and then they all automatically head back to the job. If I close the game and go right back in I’m able to tap them again, collect the $ & XP and they automatically head back to the job.
I contacted EA and haven’t gotten a response. Any thoughts?

Do you guys think, that there will ever be an event like in the good old days, like the old treehouse of horror, stonecutter or clash of clones event? The events in these days only consist of sending characters to 4h tasks and collect the event currency for the current act, which is very, very boring in my opinion.

I would be happy if we got any Episode tie-in from this Season in the TSTO Game App (it’s been a looooong time since we had an immediate tie-in from a Treehouse of Horror Episode). 🎃⚰️
I have a theory
The Simpsons Tapped out exists in the world of the Simpsons (Homer played it a couple times as well as other people) So if Homer has played it, doesnt that mean they know they’re in a TV show? I mean Lisa once whipped out a copy of ‘The Simpsons: A complete guide to our favourite family’ And no-one seemed bothered or shocked by the fact that their lives are all split into episodes and recorded in a book published for anyone to see! Also Lisa once referenced something about ‘this series’ or whatever. I don’t remember but I had to mention it. anyway to sum up, They know they’re on TV, They know they’re famous, THEY KNOW EVERYTHING!!!

What is the maximum donuts one can have. I know there is a limit on in game cash at 4,2+ billion.

To do the Van Houtens Act 2 challenges I need Springfield Heights Theater. I don’t have it and Brown house (alternative) doesn’t work. So I can’t get challenge prizes. So disappointed.
As i said Friday, someone needs to order a falafel and tell EA Bob to release the patch.

I don’t expect for you to read every post. The comment of the repeat was more for the benefit of those who did read it. My kids keep telling me that I often repeat myself. (Truth be told, all parents repeat themselves because they are aware that their kids are selectively deaf).

Hey, it is a small dedicated EA Staff, but when Bob n’ Crew snafu? They deserve to be called L-EA-Z-Y (throw a cocktail at them, because this snafu is epic on the Noobs!)
I know I shouldn’t. I know I’m only setting myself up for disappointment.
But having the tasks take place in Springfield Heights buildings is making me hope that the Halloween update will be set in Springfield Heights and we’ll finally get that strip of land at the top of the map freed up.
Maybe utilising those buildings is to ensure people are up to where they need to be.

I read your comment regarding using GoogleTheater (?) to generate SH currency.
And I realized, I’ve maxed out on my $$ currency, so why not spend some and “max” out on SH currency. (1000 of each).
I’m at 500 of each. Onward and upward.
I’m under 400 each., At 500, ……
Twice a day and you should hit 1000 each in a year
And I remember when hitting the $2 billion was ‘a goal’
