Addicts Bracket Challenge: Most Desired Real Life Celebrity, Week 7

It was six years ago, just after the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket was complete that I thought it might be cool to do a The Simpsons Tapped Out bracket. Here we are in the oddest of NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs of all times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and it’s time for our sixth TSTO Addicts Bracket Battle!

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there have been A LOT of incredible guest stars appearing as themselves in the rich history of The Simpsons universe. A rare few of these (like Stephen Hawking and Weird Al) have made their way into our games. However, hundred are still not in our little game. There is so much in fact, that it was hard just to narrow it down to 64 entries to start with. I thought of making the Bracket Battle start with 128 entries, but we’d be battling well into fall. With that in mind, we present to you TSTO Addicts’ Most Desired Real Life Celebrity Bracket Battle.

For rules and regulations, check out the Week 1 post here.

Wowie, lots of difficult decisions due to the fact practically every individual we could vote for deserves to be in TSTO.(thank you, Safi) 👍🏻

  6. Hi Safi,
Thanks for all your work on this Bracket Challenge.

I just want to give a heads up that the survey was really glitchy on both my iPhone and iPad.

I initially tried to vote on the iPad but the #8 items section and submit button just disappeared like they were cut off – just blank white page below the #8 heading. I tried shifting vertical to horizontal format and I could not see #8. I tried scrolling but the page wouldn’t scroll. I even restarted the IPad and there was no change.

I then tried using the iPhone which performed better, but the reminder about the end date and subsequent paragraph were superimposed over #8 below its heading. Fortunately, after a couple of tries in vertical and horizontal format it allowed me to scroll up through #8 from behind the final paragraph of your post. I could finally see all 8 items in each category and the submit button. I voted, hit submit and the page went blank. No text at all was visible. There’s no confirmation my vote recorded after I hit submit.

I only go into this detail because this happened on two different Apple devices, so if others have problems voting you’ll have my data to add.

If you see that my votes were successfully posted, great! Otherwise is there another option for voting? (I doubt it, just thought I’d ask.)

    • Thanks for the feedback. I can’t see individual responders; only that over 800 votes have been cast already.

I had no issue with my iPad or iPhone. But I’ll test it out on others devices.

    • I had the same problem on both my iPhone and iPad; each has the latest operating system installed (13.6.1).

  7. A couple of matchups were really hard to decide !! Thank you

  8. I wonder how many people have monorail sequel event on the mind when voting for Leonard Nimoy. Also would love a Whacking Day with Barry White. I voted for Tony Hawk thinking he could use the skate park items already in game. Thanks again for running this. Have a great weekend all and a belated happy birthday to the baby addict!
