I main thing I don’t like about tapped out is that ea refuses to fix the problems with the login errors. Every time there is a new tos the game will log you out and you have to put in your email and password. I do this several times and it keeps giving me error with your login. The only way I can get past this is to exit the game after accepting the tos trying a few times, closing tapped out then when I start the game again I can login fine. From the ratings in the App Store this is a common problem which ea says to delete the game, change you password then everything should work. From reviews of tapped out changing you password doesn’t always work, along with if you delete tapped out you have download 1.7 gb of data, all while keeping you phone on the tapped out screen, it you switch away from tapped out during the download you have to start the 1.7 gb download again from the start.
You are very precise with your constructive criticism, as there are various problems with TSTO as a Mobile Game App that EA has ignored fixing (this is the reason I no longer spend real 💵 since 2018 – and I have been tapping since April 2013).
It is still a free Game App to download, it is not plagued by advertisements popping up during a load screen (which similar Apps do, and it will drive you nuts!) it’s still free to play (you can spend real 💵 to acquire certain Content, but once you’ve reached a certain Level? once your Bonus XP is high? you’re going to 🍩 Farm and spend those sprinkles! 😉
This pandemic summer I decided to start a Tapped Out YouTube channel. So far it’s going pretty good. I credit Alissa with keeping me motivated to play this game year after year. I found TSTOADDICTS the first year I started and have been with them ever since. Hope everyone else had an awesome summer. @CJ we watched Bill and Ted this weekend too! Loved it!

Bill and Ted 3 …. it certainly helped bring about some good cheer during the pandemic (I’m going to have to check out your YouTube, I enjoy seeing Tappers share secrets and tips). I have been Tapping for 7.5 years (gone through at least 3 devices), there is still some enthusiasm …. I do send out a tweet to EA when they do something right. 👍🏻
Happy Monday everyone, I got given a £3 discount from the play store a little while ago which can be used on an in app purchase in TSTO before September 14th. I was thinking of using it to buy a donut package which also comes with an item.
I was wondering with the £3 discount, should I buy either the Stack of 60 Donuts with Shelbyville Manhattan for £4.99, Tray of 132 Donuts with Ned’s Camper for £9.99, Truckload of 300 Donuts with Muscular Milhouse for £19.99, Store Full of 900 Donuts with the Car Impound Lot for £48.99, or a Boatload of 2400 Donuts with the Shelbyville Manhattan Statue for £99.99?
I’m leaning towards either the 60 donuts with Shelbyville Manhattan for £4.99 (£1.99 with the £3 discount) or the 132 donuts with Ned’s Camper for £9.99 (£6.99 with the £3 discount).
What does everyone else think I should get?
Donate the money to a foodbank, or to Patric’s project in Africa.
If it were me I’d choose the Muscular Milhouse deal, even though it’s a rip off, just because its a character & its limited edition.

There is a fire in Fresno sending smoke our way. Go outside and it is like sitting downwind from a camp fire. So don’t even THINK of opening the window to let in cool morning air.

You know, they can’t say Southern Nevada (Henderson, Las Vegas, Summerlin, Mountain’s Edge, Boulder City) is the hottest place temperature wise when the California Desert Regions win that (Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Baker, Barstow, Death Valley) …. no thanks to climate change? Downtown Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Inland Empire (that’s San Bernardino & Riverside County) Palmdale, etc were only 2° cooler in temperature (112° here in Henderson, 110° – 109° in Downtown Los Angeles & Woodland Hills) …. no thanks to a prolonged drought (and some serious acts of human stupidity) California Nevada Arizona Utah Colorado Oregon had the worst fire season ever (I feel for you, California alone has had 2 million Acres burnr down!) ☹️
Tuesday means temperatures finally cooled down to what they should be here in Nevada, but that means strong winds (and that tells me Santa Ana ends will be blowing into California, causing a potential struggle to put out those 🔥’s). I really hope this year ends better than how it started ….. Stay Safe. 👍🏻
Perhaps we can hope that NEXT year begins better than this year began.

I just saw that in the news, yep another gender reveal party epic fail (there goes Yucaipa, there goes Apple Valley – that family will financially and legally pay for this the rest of their lives!). LAFD had to evacuate Wilson Observatory due to the other 🔥 (can’t overstate enough what a sad summer this has been, 🔥’s and covid-19 pandemic).
TSTO can be a pleasant distraction from these things, but you know it’s bad when all that smoke descends into here in Henderson (looks like we are in a giant fog Bank). Stay safe!
I asked this question a couple of weeks ago and never got an answer.
What is the maximum donuts … I have reached the in game cash limit a couple of times now. but haven’t seen, read, or heard of any in game donut limit.

Okay.. thought maybe in your EA files of info.. there may have been something about the max on Donuts.. like there is on in game cash. I sould have screen grabbed the dialog when you hit the cash limit.
O have heard of people at 76k donuts. (I am at 300, as in 300 more than zero). If you have more than 76 k, post the amount here and maybe we can eliminate some values.
Realistuxally though, how many can you really use?
Personally, I don’t farm anymore (unless I have to, and then when I do, I do by selling and buying krusty oil rigs. Not efficient, but beats the countless hours with the KEM or buying and selling rat trap trucks (IMO)
I have over 120 thousand donuts. With a 5265 bonus % I collect 100 donuts a day from character jobs and income from buildings. I don’t farm donuts anymore, don’t need to. I just wish I could buy more things with them.
Mango, can you please tell me where the Krusty Oil Rigs are in the inventory? I can’t find them anywhere!
You can only purchase 1. So if you already have it, you would have to sell it.
It costs 8 million of know game cash and the return on donuts is tiny as a percentage. My multiplier is at 1800% and I only get 18 donuts out of the transaction. But I have lots of cash so I don’t care about the efficiency.
It is under buildings I am not sure what level it becomes available.
To me, buying one object is better than having to buy 10 rat trap trucks that causes your game to crash.
I’ve not farmed before so how do you earn donuts by buying the oil rig? If I increase my multiplier, is that when you earn the most? Thanks for helping me understand!
What level are you currently on? What is your current multiplier? Have you unlocked the XP generator? The answer will depend on these responses.
I am at level 742 with a multiplier of 386%. I have the Xperia’s generator and just used it and a boatload of cash to finish the Homerlayer mountains so I’m down to 20 mil. Thanks for the assist!
At those levels you should be going for a more cost efficient farming. Here is what you can do:
1) sell all of your kwik-e-marts except for one.
2) find a plot of land with some space
3) buy a bunch of kwik e marts and place them in that plot
4) come back in 4 hours
With that you will find your xo will climb and thus your levels and donut count.
When you get to level 939, that where things will change. When you go up a level you will get a chance at 1, 2 or 3 donuts. If you don’t like your result it costs you 50k of game cash. So make sure you have some cash to pay for these.
Time for when you have your XP collider on to maximize results.
Now, make a plan for increasing your XP multiplier. Set a target of increasing it by say 50% per month. You can get there by spending donuts in the vault. The most cost effective is the Monty burns mystery box. Place the channel 6 news Van’s and itchy and scratchy billboards as these earn XP.
Once you have “enough” of those, look for other items.
Also, don’t forget to enjoy the game, allow yourself to use donuts to get obtain characters, buildings and whatever else you want. Once you get your multiplier to 800 or 900% things will go quicker and you can focus less attention on building the XP and more on the stuff that you are really working for. Does that make sense?

One other thing, if you can get the beach hideaway (all 5). You can then expand them using Springfield heights currency and not donuts). The expansion pieces also earn XP. This is one of the best deals on increasing XP.
Finally, look for the articles on charts and data. There is one on XP percentages. Read up on the items with a hidden XP percent.

I have passed 76K and and I am now past 77K. I know a couple of people who have past 120K in donuts. I thought maybe some who are in this group and have been playing for many years would have an idea. I have hit the limit in in game money, but since I still farm for the heck of it I am back and forth on my money limit.
I am only at 3269% at this time. I really haven’t bought much lately for increase my percentage. Right now I get about one donut per KEM when farming and I do 525 KEM’s So what ever I send on events and to increase my percentage.. so I am okay.
I guess it will be a goal to reach.. and find out.
But you are right.. in reality how many can one use in the game. We do have building limits and we have land limits.. so what can one buy with them other that to increase one’s percentage.
Brilliant! I would never have thought to use the oil rig. Tried it and I love it at 54 donuts at a pop, no crash like the RTT’s.
Although, still nothing to really spend the pink sprinklies on…still fun.

I believe the max donuts will be a limit due to the computer number thing. Either 4.2B or 2.1B if they didn’t resolve the number from going into -2.1B and becoming zero.
I am currently at 177k donuts
I would suspect it is the same as cash (i.e. they are using the same size variable, (2^32)-1). The alternative would be (2^16)-1, which is only 65,535. Since other people have already said they have more that 66K, the only limit would be a hard coded limit and there is no reason for them to limit the number of donuts (i.e. prevent someone from buying more).
I wish EA would make visiting neighbors fun and worthwhile again. Other than the rare donut, it’s hardly worth the effort and hassle anymore!
My visiting neighbour’s seems broken. There is hardly any active neighbours. Even ones that used to visit me daily for years. I actually have 3 bugs right now including asking me to fulfill tasks from an event months ago I didnt have time to finish.
Oh no. Old event tasks reappearing? That sounds like the top left character button glitch. My understanding is that there is no cure. The way to solve it was to get EA to rollback the game to a point when the game was still running and you would lose all the items you gathered during this period. There were a couple of obscure instances where gamers got special attention and had the game fixed. But by default, EA will tell you that there is no cure.

Visiting Neighboureenos used to be fun when it was part of an Event (and you were being rewarded with Prizes by visiting / tapping in your Neighbour’ Springfield).
Things started to go downhill when EA forced you to move your Krustyland (and they have continued to go on downhill in this Game App) 🙄
I watched Tenet on Friday and despite my best effort to pay attention, I was not sure what was happening. But overall it is still a good film with innovative actions and ideas.
I had also watched Mulan. An entertaining watch though it was weird to have the dialogues in English.
I am not too sure how to decorate the van houten items. Are they supposed to be around the house or the school? I am inclined to put most of them around the house.

I had wanted to watch this but I have not watched the early films before. Somehow the early films were very obscure in my region. Do you think I need to watch the early films first before I watch this one ?
It doesn’t hurt to watch Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
(1989) + Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991) before watching Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020) …. but it’s not necessary if you know the situation (the plot, the characters, etc).
Is there a known bug with visiting (some) friends? For months my wife hasn’t been able to visit me (and at least one other active friend) – it just never shows any buildings available no matter if I clear my town or not. One day this week it worked and then stopped again. Weird…
Yes indeed it is a known bug affecting everyone. If you visit a town with nothing to click on, you could seek out the buildings that could be vandalised. If no one else has vandalised it, you could.
this has been an ongoing issue with many players. I have the same problem but it changes who I can collect from and who I can’t.
I just don’t really bother with visiting as it is a moot point these days.
