Addicts Bracket Challenge: Most Desired Real Life Celebrity, Week 10

It was six years ago, just after the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket was complete that I thought it might be cool to do a The Simpsons Tapped Out bracket. Here we are in the oddest of NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs of all times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and it’s time for our sixth TSTO Addicts Bracket Battle!

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there have been A LOT of incredible guest stars appearing as themselves in the rich history of The Simpsons universe. A rare few of these (like Stephen Hawking and Weird Al) have made their way into our games. However, hundred are still not in our little game. There is so much in fact, that it was hard just to narrow it down to 64 entries to start with. I thought of making the Bracket Battle start with 128 entries, but we’d be battling well into fall. With that in mind, we present to you TSTO Addicts’ Most Desired Real Life Celebrity Bracket Battle.

For rules and regulations, check out the Week 1 post here.

First, for the results from last week, from over 2,400 votes cast (over 27,700 votes to date):

In the first semi-final, Authors/Journalists champion Stan Lee (61%) beat Singers (Female) champion Dolly Parton (39%).

In the second semi-final, Comedians champion Betty White (51%) barely beat Actors (Male) champion Leonard Nimoy (49%) by just 8 votes.

  1. @safi for reals man… kuwtk is making people’s IQs drop by the second…

  2. Stan Lee (but I’d be fine if Betty White won, too) – oh those memes 👆🏻 (thanks, Safi, this has been fun!) 😀

  3. I fail to see how Betty White was able to beat Leonard Nimoy. As Spock would say, “It is most illogical.”

  4. Called it!

    Hard choice….

Miss Stan Lee, and hope that Betty White sees 2021!

  5. There can be only one winner now…
    Excelsior!

  6. Stan Lee for the win “nuff said “

  7. My original prediction was for Dtan Lee and Leonard Nimoy to be the finalists. I missed it by 8 votes.

As I have said over the bracket, Stan Lee makes an appearance in everything. So i am going to keep with that on this final vote.

I am predicting a schroedinger’s cat analogy for the final! That is, a tie, Stan Lee can be viewed as both the champion and the runner up at the dame time. We will not know the outcome until Safi casts the tie breaking ballot.

I know, tough prediction, but these are two worthy finalists. Don’t say that I am not willing to go out on a limb.

Just remember, the future of the world depends on this most important vote, so make sure you do your civic duty. Vote early, vote often, and if you are utilizing a mail in vote, make sure you know the procedures and get that ballot in on time!
