  1. Groovetone Records (GR) is a pretty decent prize since it gets used in Marbles Le Marquez’s questline and it has 2 permanent tasks there for Marbles and Hans Moleman. It has an okay animation when being used but it could’ve been better if there were also figures appearing in the windows playing instruments or the doors opening and music notes appearing out through the doors. Overall, it’s still a great item. 🎶🎙️📀

The Spotted Cat (TSC) is another good prize since it gets used by Bleeding Gums Murphy and Skinny Palmer instead of an early level freemium character. The animation is slightly better than the one at GR since the open sign also lights up with the building while TSC is being used. Blues Vomitorium would look good next to The Spotted Cat. 🐈🎷🎵

Springfield Memorial Bridge is actually a great final prize and decoration IMO for a number of reasons: 1) BGM and Lisa’s task here is pretty cool. 2) There are multiple jazz licks when tapping it. 3) The moon and clouds is something that people may or may not like about this prize (I really like it) plus the moon and clouds can be toggled with it appearing and disappearing over the bridge. 🌉🎼🌕
Some improvements for the Springfield Memorial Bridge would be to allow rivers to connect to the bridge just like rivers with the Springfield Dam, maybe a retexture of the road to look like the regular roads since its a similar colour to the highways, and resize BGM and Lisa to be a little smaller on their tasks at the SMB.

  2. I am bummed that I cannot put the memorial bridge where it goes on the proposed map. I wish I could go on the water and act as a Bridge Road

  3. So we all need to purchase the premium item in order to work through this event, intially the spotted cat…. correct ?

    • I didn’t even think twice about it…but, I think there is an alternative building if you don’t have the Spotted Cat. But, you should have the Spotted Cat…it is the best music hall in NOLA.

      • I couldn’t resist the Spotted Cat, either…

But I already have a bright blue one parked on the drive – a 300hp Jaguar retirement toy that SWMBO let me have!

That might be why she is SWMBO 🙂

    • Oh…and a reminder…the Spotted Cat isn’t premium.

    • No, you don’t need to buy any premium items to work through the event. Like it says on this post, The Spotted Cat isn’t premium considering it’s a prize but it does get used for tasks by 2 premium characters (Bleeding Gums Murphy and Skinny Palmer). The only new premium buildings in the event is KJAZZ (which comes with Skinny Palmer) and Blues Vomitorium (which unlocks the ability to buy more Bourbon Street Band crowds).

  4. Can’t find the bridge in my Springfield or storage. Event is complete tho. 🥴

Always something. But great to have minis and new content.

  5. love the bridge even though its hard to place any were

  6. Finished the mini event today and have to say that it was very enjoyable for the first time in awhile. All the prizes were good and the dialogue excellent.
Glad that I took a month’s break from playing TSTO, as it has revived some passion for playing it again.

  7. I can’t get the end of the event to trigger. I have the bridge. It’s placed. I can send characters to work there but the event window (when I tap the sax icon in the upper right) doesn’t show more jobs but neither is there a yellow check mark under the bridge prize pic. All the buildings are placed and built. There are no more jobs for the event in my task bar. I never got the confetti task finished box. It’s a head scratcher. Any ideas?

    • Kddpop

If you still have Questlines for Lazzy Palmer and Marbles Marquez and Tic Tock Bart Simpson (in your Task Book), then technically you’re done with the Mini Event but can still enjoy each separate Questline …. the last Prize (Springfield Memorial Bridge) triggers a Task with Lisa Simpson and Bleeding Gums Murphy (I have both Characters, I don’t know if EA does ‘something different’ if you don’t have Bleeding Gums Murphy).

I wouldn’t sweat it, just enjoy the New Content (especially the new Premiums) and prepare for Treehouse of Horror 🎃🤘🏻

      • Yeah that last prize never triggered. I have Bleeding Gums, snagged the others too so maybe something will happen. The tapped out completionist in me just wants to see that yellow check mark. Meh, I’ll live and get ready for the next thing!

    • If you had the screen pop up with saying “Congratulations! You completed All This Jazz!” then you completed the event. I don’t remember if I had the confetti task finished box either but I have also seen that 4/5 of the prizes are ticked off for being completed even though I do have the Springfield Memorial Bridge.

    • Kidpop— I have the same problem. As a result, I mistakenly thought there must be a part 2 to the event. Glad I saw your comment!

  8. Groovetone Records
    The Spotted Cat
    Springfield Memorial Bridge

These are all solid Event Prizes with Character Tasks (each deserves a thank you sent to that small dedicated EA Staff running TSTO!)

Sure, the Springfield Memorial Bridge presents a bit of a “how do I present this in my Springfield” dilemma (you can’t connect it to a road / street, you can’t plop it on water, but eventually you will figure something out and share with other Tappers!)

  9. Tap on the bridge to toggle the moon showing/not showing, even when the bridge is not in use! (Also, the toggle plays a different jazz lick for moon on and moon off.) Super cool!

I just don’t understand the bridge itself, though….the road goes into mountains on both sides, so how do you incorporate it anywhere that makes sense?

  10. I wish the bridge could lay over top of water so you didn’t have a gap between it and the river. I made it work by placing an object in front to hide the gap, but I still would have preferred for that not to be necessary.
