It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The Simpsons are back tonight with an all-new episode. Tonight, Treehouse of Horror! Safi gave us a little preview here.
Speaking of Treehouse of Horror…it has arrived in our pocket-sized towns! What are your thoughts on the 2020 THOH event? Prizes you’re excited about? Premium content?

Any weekend excitement going on in your neck of the woods? Nothing crazy here, but I do want to say Happy Birthday to my oldest sister (which was yesterday) and a Happy 17th Birthday to my oldest niece (today)! Both of whom admit they listen to the Addicts Live Podcast…although my niece says she does it because she likes falling asleep to me talking… 🤔🤨
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! (Just no politics, it never ends well) Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

So sad us Americans have to wait until after Halloween to finally watch Treehouse of Horror XXXI (Season 32, Episode 4). Hulu even doesn’t have it available to watch (and probably won’t until it airs Nov 1st).
It’s been, what? 25 years since I have not watched a THOH…..BEFORE…..Halloween. Withdrawals….
The waterslide tree suddenly appeared in my town. Has this happened to anyone else?
Help. Small tv object in game appeared with curtains opening when clicked. 2 ‘people’ on screen’. Toilet roll on top of it. Any idea where it’s from. Seeming familiar but can’t place why.
Finished part one Sunday. Wish you could start saving points for part 2 early.

I am on the last prize, the skin for Bart, but my 4 previous prizes are not in my town, not in my inventory either, how do I get them.
If you have a EA account uninstall and reinstall the game at the App Store .
If that don’t help contact EA .
If you do not have a EA account you will lose everything and you will have to start the whole game over .

At any time that you win a prize or buy something automatically put it in your town do not store it first .
This should lock it into your town and the program
you can always go back and put it in storage .

The problem for me is that completing the event is just far too easy. Could finish the whole thing in 2 weeks, no sweat….where’s the fun in that !!!
I can’t log in??? I thought it it may be the password but nope 🙁 anyone else have the same issue? I’ve been playing since 2014 no way am I starting again!!
Happens every so often to me, and probably a.lot of us, if you have an ea account, try deleting the game from your device and re-installing, I had to do it last week
Just got a television that when clicked seems to show the devils. Is this part of scratch deal?
You mods have given new life to the Halloween update where EA could not. While neighbor incentives have become stale- We players can choose otherwise. Thanks to your new list, I have many new friends.
I know many of us long time players have a lot of embedded jokes in our town, areas we are really proud of etc.
I suggest we not wait for EA for neighbor interaction, because it’s not going to happen. We could have our own Neighboreeno scavenger hunt here on Addicts.
I already got my own list in progress. Any other takers?

Having an issue similar to Sandi’s. Got the Fortune Teller and cannot send her to “deal with slow business”.
Trying the one-hour task Alan suggested.
Finished Act 1 this afternoon! Enjoying the event so far even though some of the prizes were a bit Meh.
Was good to get the Hellementary school for my B world, I already have this in my A world. Reckon I’ll probably just speed through the event in my A world using donuts, or maybe just to buy the premium stuff

Finished act 1. Got fortune teller. Can’t do “send on tropical vacation” with Frink. Am I missing something that possibly I have something in storage that would allow me to do this task?
This is an old problem with the Fortune Teller. Try sending her on her 1-hour task to see if that clears the task and questline; if not, the 24-hour task definitely worked for me yesterday.
