Who’s ready for more Devilish fun? Act 2 of the THOH XXXI Event has arrived!
Full disclosure guys…I’ve written this a day in advance of Act 2 hitting. I’m relying on EA’s info and the info in the files to put this together (instead of verifying in-game). I’m away today with a family situation, so I’m not able to check directly. If there are any discrepancies I’ll try to clear them up later on. Thanks!
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on November 18th. However, Act 3 will start on November 1st (note the Sunday start date).
Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between the kids of Hell and Lisa…
Lisafer: Hellementary School is still school, just with fires, molten lava, and boiling steam.
Hell Kids Crowd: Get a load of the new kid with her fresh–faced, just outta-the-hell-portal attitude!
Lisafer: Relax guys! I’m here to NOT do any work. School is SOOO lame, right?!
Hell Kids Crowd: Oh great. Another one of those too-cool-for-Hell-School types!
This triggers the Act 2 questline, Hell is Other Students, and is followed by a 2hr task for Lisa, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (150). Hell is Other Students is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…
Here’s the Act 2 Synopsis from EA:
Lisa finds adjusting to Hellementary School more challenging than she anticipated, as she quickly gets on her fellow demon students’ bad side. She also finds it harder to do poorly in school than she thought, especially in Science, the only subject Hell takes seriously. Desperate and fearing she’ll lose her bet (and soul) to Old Scratch, Lisa enlists Bart’s help in an escape attempt, only to be thwarted by the devil, who then throws Lisa into Hell Detention.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the Hell is Other Students questline, which is what the Act 2 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 2 prizes.

I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this. So don’t forget to SCROLL!

Lisafer’s 60 minute quest, “Deliberately tank homework assignment” appears locked, but I have made it entirely through the 2nd act. I received the congratulations screen.
I reinstalled the game to try to fix it.
All my actors are free.
Any suggestions on how to fix her?
I’ve been getting a server error all day. This is my biggest issue with this game!
Add me to those who can’t get into the game. Fortunately still a lot of time, but hope is fixed soon.
Haven’t been able to log in all day. This game is beginning to remind me of one of the many wonderful cars I drove throughout my teens and twenties. Runs great (mostly, sometimes)

I am sorry many Tappers are having problems at Login. Usually it’s just a lack of ROM available on your device, so you uninstall and reinstall the Game App (while trying to figure out how much ROM you can free up).
One trip to @EAHelp confirms there are EA Network issues again – not everywhere, this seems to be regional (it may not be EA’s fault if you have weather causing Telecom problems).
If you can’t Login, you can join everyone who is voicing their complaints at EA ….. or just wait it out (maybe too many Tappers are flooding Networks trying to start Act 2).
I hope you can resume Game App play soon.
Regional outages usually have to do with routers in a geographic area. There is nothing people can do from their end.
It’s going to get worse before it gets better (ie AT&T removing its copper wire fixed line of broadband with wireless fiber optics – except not everywhere, so some places will lose quality internet for a while as other places get improvements) …. We’ve installed so much 5G that it’s only a matter of time before we have to remove 4G LTE in order to install more 5G (T-Mobile).
Our competition (ie Cox, or CenturyLink) has to reevaluate what they have (upgrade, by taking Networks offline for maintenance, or become obsolete) and one could say the same thing with Game Development Companies (EA, Ubisoft, Activision, Blizzard, Epic Games, Nintendo, Sega, etc – they can easily decide that Networks need to be shut down for maintenance / for updating, or they could eliminate Networks and encourage ‘offline’ gameplay).
I think Wifi 6 is another matter coming soon (this means you’re existing router / modem is going to be obsolete sooner).
One can only hope. But by then, we’ll all glow in the dark from so much data in the ether.

Still having issues getting in game. Very frustrating. Haven’t been able to start new quest line.
I was able to log in right now, with the update running. I didn’t have any issues this morning before the update though. Just wanted to let ya’ll know in case you want to try again, seems like all is fine now. Good luck!
I tried again, even installing and uninstalling but no dice.
It’s a server issue. Nothing you can do on your end. Sorry.

I know it’s frustrating. Especially since they have servers all over the place…some are fine, others not. It’s a crap shoot.
Hey I know this might not be the right place, but what do I do with my money? I purchased all the aspirational buildings and cecils infrastucture projects, and all the land that takes cash. What else???
Buy stuff? Sorry but they’ve pretty much paid cash a useless item. Springfield is now a doughnut currency only.
Farm for Donuts
The items in this act look really cool. The labs, lockers and kids would look good with the school. Old Scratch’s Gym has a pretty great design to it. It’s nice to get Lisafer and Beelzebart as prizes. I do hope the Torture Coach uses the gym for tasks.
Both Buildings have great animation when in use (Beelzebart has an 8 Hour Visual Task at Hell Labs!) 🔥

I was able to login and play when the event first released but am unable now – the dreaded connect to server screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it won’t let me even reenter my login information, it immediately goes to connect to server. Is anyone else having difficulties or any other suggestions? Thank you!
Same here. I also reinstalled with no change… I logged in when the event went live and then an hour later, but after that only the Bart screen shows up.
I can’t get in either! This happened when Act 1 started, too. Any suggestions?

they are clearly having some server issues today…………
I’ve been losing my neighbours every day I had to delete app and reinstall to get them back just started act 2 but stuck on server screen
I cannot get on the game on any device after the 2nd act started. Spinning donoughts everywhere! Even an unistall/reinstall isnt working because I can’t connect to the server. Any idea what is going on and when I will be sorted?
Anyone else just getting the “cannot connect to server” screen since the update dropped? Grr.

I wish the Hellementary school kids decoration was just a bundle of npcs to walk around each with their own little unique animation, would have been cool and added a little flair if you wanted to get a good start on an all out Hellementary themed area. I assume it is the same case with the upcoming Hellementary Nerds in act 3 being just a decoration and not npcs as well sadly. The event is chill so far, but in terms of a 4 act event the first 2 acts seem to be lacking so far honestly.
Yeah…I think they are locked into the “crowd of the moment” in every update now. Pretty soon, it will just be a town full of random, angry mobs.
I am so excited for the Hell Labs and Demon Car but really this whole act is really exciting, with the inclusion of the Murder House, maybe the prize I’m most excited for, and the Hell Teacher/Principal. I’m really happy EA haven’t just relied on decorations and have given us new characters, buildings (Hell Labs/ Hells Kitchen/ Murder House) and some super cool skins, Lisafer.
It’s very exciting to have a player who is so excited!
