Time for another Springfield Mystery Box, this time it’s filled with goodies from Halloween’s past…
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those THOH inspired premium character/building/decorations. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items at a discount or something you missed out on from a previous event.
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
The Mystery Box opens via Tokens. For this event you only have the potential to earn 1 Free Token via the prize track, the remaining will need to be purchased with donuts.
Tokens are 60 Donuts each or you can get 5 tokens for 240 donuts.
So for 1 token or 60 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of THOH inspired premium characters, decorations, and buildings from recent past events.

Most items can be found in the Yearbook Mystery box, which is always the better deal. But some are unique to this box and your chance to grab if you missed out on them previously.

I already have devil Flanders from the Yearbook but no Heck House. Doesn’t seem I can get it from the THOH Mystery Box either. A little bummed I can’t get my hands on it when I should have access to it.
Got the Sepulcher of Evil (maybe from the Yearbook? How quickly we forget) and am really enjoying it. I keep sending Mr. Burns there for his visual task of reading from the book to summon an ancient god to do his bidding. That’s his best task yet, even better than the one where he flops around trying to fly in his Batman suit.
Without any tokens on the prize track to work for, I don’t have enough interest in the others left in my event mystery box to actually buy more tokens. I had quite a few of them already, though. The most interesting ones…
I still need 40 characters many of which come before oflr just as Tapped out came to android and I was just starting. Occasionally 1 co.es along , in this instance the fortune teller. Will I ever be able to get them all?

As a new freemium player I rely on them to enbiggen my city
First there’s Black Friday where there will most likely be several mystery boxes of varying donut prices and probably a Golden token box. If you don’t already farm, I suggest you start.
And yes, there will most likely be a Mystery Box for returning Christmas content.

Nightmare Willie is available in my regular Mystery Box.
Well, I got the Fortune Teller, and I did thank EA for this (never saw her in a regular Mystery Box) …. but that is all available for me to obtain (it’s dumb and weird that there are other Characters you would think would be available – Jack the Ripper, Evil Shopkeeper – but that’s on EA ’cause I would have spent real 💵 for both vs a Character Skin!) 🤷🏼♂️
Update on my app issues. I got into the game! After trying everything else, I had to (unfortunately) uninstall/reinstall the game. I hate doing this because it takes so darn long to reinstall since the app is SO big. Eh, well at least I’m able to play again. Only one more item in the box now (Countess Dracula) and I’m golden. Keep Calm and Tap On!

I have Devil Flanders but never acquired the Heck House apparently and it’s not an option in the Mystery Box. Maybe it’s not listed because i have 1/2 the set, regardless I’m not too happy about not being able to grab it, I would’ve even paid donuts for it. ):
Since the event begun, I have never earned any tokens as part of the prize track. I figured the reason was I am long time player. I am now half way through the tracks, with no tokens. Also, the THOH XXXI Mystery Box keeps disappearing, I have reinstalled with no changes in all devices, I use Bluestacks and iOS only. I guess I should contact EA?

The potential of earning 1 free. Not 1 free per Act. 1 Free total. And even then, to get that 1 free you had to already have had Hellementary School. Act 1 prize track, as laid out during Act 1, had either hellementary school or a prize track token if you already had hellementary school. Beyond that there are NO MORE tokens on any of the prize tracks.
I also am having trouble logging in to EA. Very annoying!
The raven is one of the few things in the game that I’m missing, but unfortunately, it’s always linked to the bad dream house, which I already owned separately, so it never pops up as an option to get.
Everything has been working fine until this morning. When I attempt to load the game the donut just keeps spinning. I tried reloading, clearing all the caches, clearing the cache partition, and restarting the tablet but nothing changes. I’m on my Kindle Fire 7 with this game. Any ideas?
I got the same problem, but I can’t login from monday… Seems like lost event for me ;/
