It’s the most wonderful time of the year Tappers, Christmas in TSTO! And this year EA is insulting everyone with a true Sacrilegious Christmas…nothing says 2020 quite like this! Also always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The 2020 Christmas Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (9 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting Cult Pamphlets! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Space Cadet…

Hallelujah!! I finally have my turkey 🦃! Woohoo! Thanks EA, now… if you could just offer Witch Marge’s caldron I’d be completely happy. The turkey and caldron are the two items I’ve been waiting for for like EVER.
The cauldron is with the witch marge in the yearbook. I got it from there a few weeks back.
Yup but if you have witch Marge you can’t get the cauldron because they’re connected in the YBMB
I deleted the App after playing pretty much since the beginning. I kept having to restart ipad because it wouldn’t accept my log in. Pretty much ever 3-4th time I opened it up (every 4-8 hours) . I also got an old ipad, and other games crash often, so I though deleting TSTO would free up 3Gs and help (hasn’t so much).
Is this event worth downloading it again? frankly, after 8+ years, I am feeling quite “tapped out”. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!

After tasks are done I receive prize and ticket counter set to zero. Should be 40 right?

Yes, the counter resets for each step. Tip: If you buy more dumpsters and place them so that the IRS tapping range will not collect two at the same time, you may transfer tickets to the next step. Remember to tap slowly if you have a lot going on as it may take some time for the tickets to be “counted”. Good luck.
Ooh thanks for the tip… im coming up on it again. I tried to stagger the group so the “extras” would finish up 5 min later. Lol but that relies in my catching it in the 5 minutes 🤣
Is that normal for this style of event? I’ve never really counted or noticed till now. I miss some of the older event styles like the castles or stonecutters.
You got the donut factory for 5 bucks?! Damn. I spent 15 and only got crap… 😔 and I lost a token due to the stupid buy 12 donuts popping up so I accidentally tapped it and there goes 1 ticket. Eeergh. I was really annoyed I didn’t get the factory especially since there were 2 donut generating buildings. Could have gotten 1 given I had over 15 tokens. 🙄
Not crazy about the theme as this year especially we could use a nice Christmas lift from TSTO. But so far prizes are good. I went over 2000% multiplier from the burning bushes. Wish there was something new I could use those tickets on. Or even something new we could buy. Recently, I spent $5 to get CostMo and the Donut Factory.

Buying the Golden Goose Realty solved my land problems. I have more land than I can use. Try and catch it when it’s available, if it’s not always an option. Don’t remember if it was event only or not.

– Not seeing the Burning Bush, has it been removed from the store?
– My Christmas Globe has disappeared.
– No Santa’s Wonderland appearing, was hoping to get the turkey as it hasn’t been available for a long time.

Is anyone else missing the buying option for Christmas box tokens. I did the math and would have been 1 short but the buy option disappeared.
Yes! I am like 6 tokens short :/ they disappeared after I bought the last items with the tickets from the other box. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence or nor.
Another great event. Trick or treating a little late but fun to do. I just got a tiny problem with seeing what we get…,,,I’m running out of land! I got one land ticket. My base is maxed out. For Christmas sakes let us buy our land with loot we collect.

I cashed in one ticket for santas wonderland, and now its gone. The only option is for me to cash tickets in for donuts. Is this a one and done thing? Is it coming back? I was hoping for the turkey.

It’s not there for me at all and it should be – I don’t have the Turkey NPC. But I have the mystery box, which closes the store window if I tap on it. I wonder if they got them mixed up, hiding the wrong one if empty? I was hoping the update that downloaded would fix it, but it looks like it just removed the burning bush.
But it wasnt empty…only had 2 items to start….got one item, but now unable to get the turkey after one entry in there.

What are some of the daily tasks for tickets?
I have seen:
Send springfielders to sing in the Christmas globe and
Have springfielders forget which holiday it is. This one has tasks to send characters trick or treating.

It did not pop up in my main town which I would have had one prize . I’m very disappointed not to get the one prize .

I’m loving this event so far. Between this release of past content and what I got from the Black Friday event, my Springfield is looking amazing. I mean, it’s haphazard and terrible in spots, but I love putting together little areas. When this is all said and done, I’ll have an amazing Christmas area, which is what I’ve really wanted from this game since I started playing it a year and a half ago.
To finally have facades, Santa’s House (I’ve had Santa himself since last year but didn’t have a 1, 12, or 24 hour task for him until I got this building!), a bunch of Rigellian Christmas stuff, Kang and Kodos in Christmas gear, and so much more, I’m stoked.
The new stuff is also great. A Krusty Claus that’s a new character and not a costume? Great! (I don’t mind a costume but some people prefer new characters so this should be preferable for them.) The mall Santa chair also looks solid. “The Joy of Sect” is one of my favorite episodes so any content related to them is 100% great with me. It all works for me and I’m super happy with how this is all going.
The only thing driving me nuts is the Santa’s Wonderland mystery box! I’ve gotten so used to having infinite-ish Donuts to buy whatever I want that I’m going crazy waiting to complete daily challenges to get more content. It’s hard! I want Kwanzaa Hibbard now! Now, now now! Gah! How will I live until I unlock him!?

I love this site. I’m a long time player first time poster. The Burning Bush is only $500 in the Christmas 2020 event, it used to be 20 donuts. Why does this matter? Each bush gives a 0.50% bonus. , practically for free!!! Buy a plot of land, fill it with 🔥 ng bushes and you gain more than 100% multiplier. This is tremendous for novice or freemium players.

That’s a valid complaint (after all we didn’t get THOH Event that was Halloween-ish’). TSTO seems to be offering up certain Content I think would’ve been for Easter. It’s still amusing to Tap.

Holiday lights facade for Homes were Prizes, holiday lights facade for certain Buildings were Premium (you spent 🍩’s for), and I’m glad EA is making it really easy to obtain prior Christmas Content (Alissa has posted before that the Holiday Bundles are a bargain – they are, just make sure you have enough Land!) 🎄❄️☃️
The one Christmas house skin I was waiting for was one for Homer’s house that is overrun with giant seasonal inflatables and wrapped boxes. I think it was from a Christmas where Homer and Ned were trying to outdo each other with house decorations. It, so far, has not come back, I believe.
It reminds me of a house on my block that had at least a dozen giant inflatable decorations on his front yard and even up on the roof. It was amazing …until a vicious sleet storm passed through.
It went from Merry to Mortal Kombat.
