Hi jenn, when I try to sent Marge and Maggie for the 12h job “driving the greyhound sleigh”, I can’t. Here is the message : “logic wrapper requirement : visible conditional”. I don’t understand because I could on these last days.
Jenn, if you don’t have krusty burger oil rig buy one this will yield donuts. Sell and buy another yielding more donuts (only one allowed in your town at a time). Then buy mystery boxes to boost XP. lather, rinse, repeat. It’s a grind but XP will grow. 😀
I have a question about visiting neighbors..
I have some neighbors in the 939 level range; I can see that they play several times a day, and they have several thousand items. Why do these neighbors never have anything to tap? It seems like there should always be something.. (like even a brown house?)
(PS unrelated: I’m super bummed that I missed out on the burning bush. How did I not see that before it was too late?! I can’t seem to get past 450% bonus XP.)
Hi Jenn, the inability to tap is a known glitch in the game. EA knows this but has never solved it. Often, 3-4 or more neighbours in a row or even the entire neighbour list can be untappable after the first tappable one. You can only do two things in this case – move on to the next neighbours until you find a tappable one, or close the game entirely and log on again, and see that now every second neighbour is tapable and every third still isn’t. Very annoying and tedious. This is why only tap the first 30 times to get the 300 fp points per day, if I even have time. Usually I just tap The Other Springfield once a day and don’t even bother with the rest.

Also, don’t worry about the burning bush because it only gave 0,5% bonus. The Xmas decor you win in Santa’s box provide you 2-5% bonus. So even the tiniest decor is equal to 4 burning bushes. Happy gaming!
It’s rare to see a bonus% item available in the store, which you can buy multiples of for in-game cash rather than donuts. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it before.
Money is much more easier to come by than donuts, and people who were able to snatch up the bushes gained 1000% or more because the bushes were so cheap.

Has anyone had issues with having to log back into their game, having a huge download (around 2gb) and possibly losing part of the latest progress?
This happened to me a few times a couple of months back. I sent EA a message about it. Mysteriously the problem went away. Now it has returned again.
I am playing on a later version iPad with the current IOS software
Does anyone have this issue? Every time I open the app it forces me to log in and it loads the update as if I just downloaded the app for the first time. Essentially, I have to end up uninstalling and reinstalling the app every time I open it. I have plenty of space on my device…BUT, I am over the suggested limit for items in my town. Is THAT what causes this? Is anyone else having this issue? It’s super frustrating.
You need to clear space on your device. What you are experiencing is EA’s way of saying, “This App is a Memory Hog!”

Santa’s Wonderland Box. If the box doesn’t appear for you, you’ll be able to convert to donuts.

Hmm must be a coding glitch. Once the Wonderland Box finishes, the tokens disappear. Seems to be a coding error that EA linked the tokens to the Wonderland box by mistake…
For 2020, that kind of makes sense! At least the questline gives us a few tokens. Thanks again for the information.
EEEK 100 sprinkles just for a costume. I wanted to say EA is really pulling my catlady fangs with this one… but luckily I got Lard Lad and Costmo both from the Blargs Friday event so I feel super privileged and blessed. Only 9 days of harvesting my lard buildings and Ms Claws will rip my eyeballs out, can’t wait!
Howdy to all my tapper friends. After the newest upgrade to the game, I lost all my friends on the game. Occasionally when I log on they will all be there but more often than not, my entire friends list is gone. Ghost. All 50+ of them. Has anyone else lost their friend list with last upgrade? Just wondering if its a large issue or just me and my device.
Any of my friends on the game read this, I apologize for not visiting your towns recently. I will when game brings yall back on my screen! Happy tapping!
This happens every so often for me as well. If I kill the app and restart, it usually restores all the friends. I would give that a try.

Actually this is a common event. Often all your friends just disappear then at some random time they later reappear. Very like the problem is due to tapped out using a older connection program.
Can someone tell me where I can find the burning bush in the store?
It is no longer available. A patch removed it.
Its gone. I wonder if some low level programmer was told to add the burning bush for $500 and forgot to take the added % bonus off or in spirit of the season and after a dismal 2020, decided to just “leave” the bonus for all of us to cash in on in defiance of his superiors! I doubt it but it is gone and I added as many bushes as I could tap. 495% bonus up to 1007% bonus. Happy tapping!
I did even realize the burning bush did anything a first, but one I did I when crazy buying large amounts of the burning bush. I had my % at around 700, now with the burning bush it is at 4300%. I also hit the item warning limit at 11000, but you can have up to 14000 items so I am good.

Just wondered – has anybody dismissed a daily task? Does it always give tickets for Santa’s wonderland as a prize? Just wondering whether it’s best to dismiss if it only gives out one token with the hopes of it giving out 2 or 3?!
I have been dismissing the task whenever I get one ticket and often get a 2 or 3 ticket task instead. ALL the daily tasks through the whole event will be tickets so this is an excellent strategy for extra tix.
Cromulent news! Thank you for this valuable tip, dear Tappy Friends. I was pessimistically counting on just 1 ticket per day max, now I will dismiss for 2-3 till the aliens come home! And I just got Santa’s Little Helper with a ticket (after a bunch of crappy decor). So dissapointed SLH has no outside jobs nor any quest line 🙁 🙁 🙁
Everything was great until the option to buy the tokens disappeared. In 5 or 6 short. Have I known this I qould have bought the 240 deal. There was no time limit on them of I remember correctly.
I check comments on here to see what other tappers are experiencing in their towns and was shocked when I read this because I was also going to buy the 5 tokens for 240 donuts deal. I was just waiting since this event is a month long. Now that option is gone like you said. Truly disappointed and I agree, they didn’t specify any kind of time limit when the event started.
They should still be there, they haven’t been pulled from the game entirely. So not sure why they’ve disappeared in some games. They’re still available in my game.
Thanks for replying so quickly! I didn’t notice it until I read v’s post. Not sure when it disappeared for me. It was still there when I picked up the claws skin the other day. Hopefully it will come back for Act 2. I am enjoying the event a lot. One of the items in my gold box is the praiseland promo and I am super excited because it is the only character I have left to complete the churchy Joe’s set. You know you’re a tsto addict when you obsess over character sets! Thanks for updating me!

Shucks. Maybe when I finished the Santa wonderland box the token buying option disappeared too? At least the gold box is still there for me! Everything else in the game seems fine so I guess it’s just a weird glitch in my and a few others games. I still have 4 chances from questline tokens i think?
They are back in my game! Both the single and the bundle. 🙂 I did reinstall but the tockens showed up hours after that so I don’t think it’s necessary to do. 🙂
Same here, the option disappeared when I was offered 3 donuts for my spare tickets.
Most of the stuff for the Tokens is also clogging the Yearbook box for half the prize (30 donuts) so don’t stress if you miss some. Granted, you also get a bunch of unrelated stuff and characters in the Yearbook but that just makes our Springfielde Glennes even prettier and funnier
Anybody run into this? Picked up Santa Kang from the holiday box and started his quest. However I don’t have the Rigellian Christmas Spaceship so I can’t start part 2 of his quest. Seems like a bug that EA didn’t give them out together.
Wow, kudos to EA. Didn’t report this to them, but the spaceship just showed up when I connected today, fixing the issue. Maybe I’ve just got a low bar of gaming companies in general, but I’m a little impressed. 🙂
LOL…it’s best to keep a low bar when setting expectations for EA!
I posted this a couple days ago, but maybe this post is a better place for my question:
I deleted the App after playing pretty much since the beginning. I kept having to restart ipad because it wouldn’t accept my log in. Pretty much ever 3-4th time I opened it up (every 4-8 hours) . I also got an old ipad, and other games crash often, so I though deleting TSTO would free up 3Gs and help (hasn’t so much).
Is this event worth downloading it again? frankly, after 8+ years, I am feeling quite “tapped out”. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!

The Event is fun (so far) if you don’t mind the grind (same 4 Act Event Format), but you might want to update your Device (make sure you have lotsa free ROM ’cause TSTO takes up a chunk). 👍🏻
I am done with Act 1. 😃Now farming Donuts to get God on Christmas. Thanks to the burning bush glitch I increased my percentage from 600 to 1500. Which is enough for me. I like to keep my town nice and neat. Luckily, the bushes are small that I was able to hide them all behind buildings.

A Homer has a Santa skin that can drive Santa’s sleigh for 24 hours. I like to have Homer, Marge, and the Crazy Cat Lady flying in the sky together.

Santa’s little helper can lead the Greyhound sleigh, if you have him. Maggie and Marge need to free from tasks. Ironically Santa character has no such job lol
The daily task in my game is for Homer, Marge, Arnie Pye and the cat lady to fly (pilot?) sleds or the helicopter. I really like the animation for Marge & Maggie flying the greyhound sled and Homer with Santa’s sled.
Do you mean Ms Catlady Claws can FLY in that sleigh pulled by cats? I don’t think I ever wanted anything more in my entire life!!!! And how does Marge fly? Has Marg her own sleigh or does she fly with Homer? All I know she flies solo on her broom in her black witch outfit (with black hair) and Maggie flies on an eagle in her Pioneer outfit (with bonnet).
Took the kids and the dog to drive thru Santa today. Finished the act 1prize track, opened the mystery box and got my most wanted item, the raccoon in the cute little sweater. Best. Event. Ever.

Marge has a 12 hour task to drive the sleigh with dogs. And if you have Santa’s Little Helper, he can lead the sleigh.
Cough cough squeak Hick cough I got the covid thing at the infested cesspool of my office. So I for one welcome all the Blargsgivings and Alien overlord events. Nothing better than blargstapping the heck outta the game with mulled wine on sick leave. I LOVE how the kiddos trick or treat in the little costumes. Especially loving Dolph as Black Spider, Kerney as Joker, Astronaut Milhouse and Witch Lisa. Wish these outfits stayed with them for next year. And wish all the kids had these outfits! A little bummed that neither Janey, Sophie Krust, Brittany Brock, Jessica nor any other girls can trick or treat as well. Not even Uter who would be perfect as a chocolate elf or Oompa Loompa from the Wonka factory.

Made fields of burning bushes, maxed out the item limit with them, brought the multiplier to +4000%. Now, with the XP generator on, placing one rat trap truck gets me up to six donuts. Will never have to worry with donuts ever again, will evetually “buy” every single item available in the game. Am I a bad person?

Good morning all! I have a question. Who drives the sleigh with the dogs pulling it? Also, what characters have Christmas jobs to do? i have found some but I think that there are more. I have Santa made the cat lady flying their sleighs but want to get the dogs up there as well.

Hi Cornman. I read here that Marge flies the dog sleigh and SLH becomes one of the dogs pulling it. The Xmas jobs for the adults change each day in the Daily ticket tasks, and include growing Insanity peppers, buying Scratchies and broadcasting Xmas special on Channel 6. Some of the kids have Xmas jobs as Trick or treating: Witch Lisa, Astronaut Milhouse, Hobo Nelson, Robocop Jimbo, Black Spider Dolph, Joker Kearney, Sherri and Terri in teal dresses, Mountie Ralph, Fairy Martin, Frankenstein Bart and Squeaky Teen as a 50s Grease character. Wish all kids had those!
