Ol’ Gil is back in Springfield! After not making a Halloween appearance, it’s nice to see Gil in the streets of Springfield once again. It’s just not an event until Gil gets involved!
Anyway, Gil is back and, as always, he’s got another “deal” for us. What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well, this time around he’s trying to sell us literal Heaven on Earth!
So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if this deal is worth the donuts or if you should take a hard pass…
So when you first get into Springfield (well after you’ve launched the event stuff…of course) you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Oh boy, did you see they’re bringing heaven here to Springfield? This is gotta be the best shot ol’ Gil’s ever had at gettin’ through those pearly gates. I picked it up. Sure he doesn’t help with event currency, but, it’s still a fun character. It’s a decent price for a Gil deal, and Andre is voiced! Not too shabby…

I kind of have a Heaven area with lots of stacking sheep. Jewish Heaven is there, and the Heavenly swing set. I think this would go really well over there. Andre looks like a fun character too. It’s a yes for me!

The benefits of the Gil Deal? It’s quality Content vs most of this Event’s Prizes that are going right to Storage (Voiced Character & funny Character Tasks) I just wish Heaven was 1/2 it’s a size.

Meh, it’s another pass from me, sorry Ol’ Gil. The Heaven is very prett, but I couldn’t care less about Andre. Also why is he voiced and so many iconic characters and premium characters aren’t? Give us voices for all our mute Milhouses, demons and teachers, EA.

It’s odd that we got so many voiced Characters (their dialogue is literally lifted from the old EA Simpsons Console Games), and a few (who provided Character dialogue in those old Simpsons Games by EA) such as those voiced by Tress MacNeille are not available in TSTO (just pay the voice talent). 🤔
I’m working on getting the donuts to buy it. I’m not a KEM farmer, but I do have a stupid amount of money (somewhere around 53 million, I think) that I use to buy bloodmobiles when I need donuts.
I’m getting it because I’m addicted to finishing all the collections.
