It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Is there a way to throw away items? I have so many of the mead crates and dance platform that I just wish I could remove out of my inventory 😅

Happy Martin Luther King Day (yeah I’m posting this on a Monday). I’m redoing my Springfield, but like all of you …. I’m waiting to see what else EA drops into the Game App.
I have lost all of my items I won from the Christmas update. Has this happened to anyone else?

3 years ago the TSTO had what we called the “role back glitch” and your best course of action is to get in touch with EA as soon as possible at their Help Website –

I also have the glitch where most of the town’s that’s all I can do is vandalize .
So what I’ve been doing is only tapping on one building . That way it gives others that have the glitch the ability to tap on something .
If I’m able to tap on houses then I go ahead and tap on all three .

Hi.. Does any play on kindle?? got some issues need help. So since the Xmas update it’s been telling me low memory and won’t always open game. I deleted a bunch of stuff still says it. I uninstalled and downloaded a few times and same. I can get on couple times a day before it plays up. But my mum has the same thing and since event ended she can’t play at all.. Is this a known thing or do we need to try contact the game for help??

The problem with Amazon Kindles is that they are the last OS to receive any support ….. older Kindles run into all sorts of technical difficulties (it comes down to the limited amount of RAM and ROM available on a device, as well as older OS no longer being accepted).
Tappers are strongly encouraged to use an Android, or Apple device (fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10″ is affordable and if you head to a decent shop? chances are you can find a nice discount, or a buy one get one offer).
Tappers are also encouraged to use an up-to-date OS (the latest iOS, at least Android OS 10 ), have at least 3Gigs of RAM and at least 32Gigs of ROM (set aside at least 5Gigs a free space for the TSTO Game App) on their device.
It’s been awhile since TSTO Addicts talked about obsolete devices, but it’s true that there are times a device can become obsolete …. and it’s no longer able to work.

Anyone else having trouble getting their characters to leave the kquick e mart after the milk buying task? I hit them, they still show as finished and inside the building.
Store and replace the kwik e mart. It’ll clear it
Violence never solved anything.
Instead of hitting them, try reasoning with them.

I have a question regarding XP/donut/running out of possible items: The game advices to not place more than about 11000 objects. I had bought very many burning bushes for in game cash and when I do KEM farming, after some KEMs the game always warns me to not place more objects or it could become unstable.
Since I try to get rid of items but still have so many I want to keep, I have the conflict: Do I add more items that increase the percentage of XP payout (even though I like the looks of some other objects in my town more) or do I leave room for more KEMs? If I place more XP increasing items, I hit the warning (11000 objects) earlier when I place KEMs.
I don’t know how to do the math if I should place every XP percentage increasing object I have / I can buy or if I should leave some of them that I don’t want to place anyway (due to the looks of it) in the inventory/store in order to leave more “space” for more KEMs.
Does anyone have an idea how to do the math? Maybe @Safi?

Try selling then buying krusty burger oil rig. I think you’ll like it better than farming kem’s, only one item, it’s instant and no crash. Although,they are pricey.

– Happy to get Santa’s Little Helper
– Dealing with lagging now. At first it seemed like having over 12,000 items was the cause. Got it to 10,000 items but now the lag is back. Slowly selling off the things I can…
– While I liked having so many opportunities to get things via holiday tickets, it was a bit annoying to have eight simultaneous quests going on at one time.
How do I know exactly how many items I have?
I’ve never had a “warning” pop up yet.

After the recent holiday special ended, a couple of my characters lost jobs. For example, my Blue Haired Lawyer lost his 24-hour job (Deliver Lawsuits) and Marge lost one of her 12-hour jobs (Drive the Greyhound Sleigh), even though Maggie and the sleigh were available. And Mrs. Claus lost her 24-hour job (Party with the Elves.
The jobs are *not* greyed out, they’re just gone from the characters’ jobs lists.
I’ve tried restarting my devices, logging out of EA, & logging in again, nothing is working.
Has anyone else had this happen? I really want that flying sleigh job back again!

Looking for help because I can’t find the answer. For M’nthster, what characters or buildings do I need to complete his quest line? The 24 hour task still says I need to complete the quest but nothing ever comes up. I do not have any characters stored at the moment.

M’nthster uses the following for Character Tasks:
R’lyeh (Bermuda Triangle Lair)
Dracula-la Land
Cursed Ship
Fogbury Cemetery
Squidport Entrance (Squidport Pier)
Cthulhu Monument
Cthulhu (Visual Task w/Character)
Sunken Temple
Most of what is mentioned above comes from the Cthulhu’s Revenge 2019 Event (“In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming”)
