Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the New Year New You mini-event stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your New Year New You inspired designs (by 8pm ET Tuesday, February 2nd) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, February 3rd.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from the New Year New You mini-event, new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, February 2nd, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

This is totally unrelated, but I wasn’t sure where to put this. I desperately need help! My great nephew (or maybe not so great) got ahold of my iPad and somehow deleted my whole town except for one building and two characters. (not Homer and Lisa) Is there any way to restore it, or am I doomed to rebuild? I’ve been playing for over six years, so there’s a lot of stuff! I’m pretty sure it’s all in storage. Suggestions, neighboreenos?
The only way to stop someone from getting into your game is to log out each time .
Just make sure you know your Gmail and your password to get back in .
There is a way to confirm your donut spending under the hammer and saw icon button .
Then go under the sprocket icon to turn it on .
This will stop someone from accidentally spending the donuts .
This happened to a friend of mine years ago her grandson went in and spent all of her donuts .

Unfortunately you are doomed to rebuild your whole town.
I would try contacting EA to see if they can roll back your game to a time before everything got deleted, like they did with the Rollback Glitch.
