It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Does anyone know when we’ll get any more land expansions? I have all the available land, I don’t do farming or anything, the design of my Springfield is intended to be ‘realistic’. And I’ve reached a point where I’m stuck. I need more land!!!
So ive maxed out my levels, completed NYNO and am now using lockdown to KEM farm 4x per day. I have $14.5m but my XP multiplier stands at 411% (so i just give em one of these…) ANYWAYS how can i increase my XP – ive got all the beach houses maxed out- is it just a case of buying more premium items? Any recommendations? What sort of percentage have other Freemium peeps got? Sorry for the essay and thanks for coming!

Just popping in to see if a new event had started. Haven’t played in a lonnnnnggggg time, so I’m hoping the next event will entice and surprise 🥳. Who knows…it could happen🤷♀️.
Was lucky enough to get the first dose of the vaccine this last week 👍😁…the local Hospice caregivers sent us an email invite, since both my parents had been in their care this last year before they passed. Our household is all over 65, but finding anyone who had the vaccine was problematic here…so it was a pleasant surprise to be included in the Hospice group’s “family”. Second dose will be next month and maybe then I can actually go somewhere! Want to take a rail trip thru western Canada across the Rockies…we’ll see…
Anyway, hope you’re all well and safe and that the next event is Stonecutters 2…even better than the First!

Been lurking in the background… checking on new events, but not playing, so didn’t join in the conversation. Am hoping the next event will be something “up”. With everything going on this last year, I just couldn’t take the snide and snarky side of the game. Would love to see some writing that is just plain funny, without all the negative social commentary (not that there hasn’t been lots to be snarky about in the last few years, but lets just move on 🙈🙉🙊). Anyway…ready to jump into the game again…will keep my fingers crossed.🤞😊

I’m one of many Tappers that was surprised we didn’t get Halloween-ish’ / Christmas-y Events to end 2020 (I take it the pandemic is having an effect on that small dedicated EA Staff in charge of TSTO). We got Multi Act Events where you appreciated what you could, then shrugged off the rest (and put Content in Storage that was ‘meh’).
We’ve obtained some new Characters that are fun (especially when they are Voiced, definitely when they have amusing Visual Tasks). We got a needed Item increase, we still need a Land expansion.
The Mrs and I are in our mid-50s, we have both been vaccinated once (main reaction to Pfizer vaccine was extreme dehydration, don’t no when we will get our 2nd – but we will wait for the Moderna vaccine). Anything to eradicate this pandemic.
Please Stay Safe and let us know what other Game Apps you are interested in (very difficult to find something equivalent to TSTO that is free to download AND free of in-game advertisements).
Hi CJ…mostly been playing June’s Journey. Nothing like Tapped Out, but has the opportunity to design, which was my favorite part of the game.
June’s Journey is a hidden object game (sounds like you Build and Design \ Solve Puzzles / Locate Hidden Objects) 🤔
There may come a day when we need to have a Post (Open Thread) regarding which mobil Game App to switch to when / if TSTO comes to an end (can you believe it’s been going on for 9 years?) 😀

Happy Sunday …. we’ve only got until the 3rd when this Mini Event ends (I am with everyone in that it would be nice if EA removes the snow and brings back the missing Character Tasks before the beginning of another Event).
I’m thankful to have enough free time to edit my Springfield, but I still have no expectations when it comes to what EA offers up.
We’ve got six Episodes left of Season 32 (they continue being broadcast in February and end in May). I have not seen anything published in the Entertainment News regarding The Simpsons continuing with another Season (I’m with everyone wondering if this is it, or does Team Disney Fox have some sort of plan to continue with the spin-off).

I’m just hoping the missing character tasks are restored when the snow is removed. Visual tasks are a big part of the game experience for me and I can’t begin to list all of the characters that were affected.
