If you check your store you should see the token exchange appear, as long as you have the Mystery Box cleared.

Just a little post to shine a little light on an issue that seems to have flown under EA’s radar with this event:
Converting Mystery Box Tokens to Donuts…if you’ve already cleared the Love and War Mystery Box.
So it seems as though EA forgot to “flip the switch” that makes it so you can convert MB tokens to donuts once you’ve cleared the Love and War Box. This has happened it the past, and EA did send out a patch to correct it. Hopefully, that’s what will happen again this time.
Also, what’s happened in the past, is that once the event’s over an option in the store pops up to convert any unused tokens to donuts. This usually applies to those players who don’t clear their MB and don’t care to. Those who would rather have the donuts. So we’ll see what happens here.
In any event, hopefully EA releases a patch to correct this…if only to ease players minds. Otherwise, those prize track MB tokens are utterly useless for A LOT of players.
I bought tokens to empty my mystery box and now have 2 tokens left… my question is do I have to trade them in for donuts which would be a loss and less donuts than what I paid for them or can I save them for the next mystery box without fear of them just disappearing?
Event tokens will go away when the event expires, so use those now. Shattered Dreams tokens can be saved until the next Shattered Dreams box comes along, if you’re not interested in what’s in there this time around.
How many donuts do you get in the exchange? I have 4 items left in the box and am considering getting the 5 tokens but am trying to weigh the costs.

Somewhat unrelated, but how can you see how many land tokens you have? I know I have quite a few but I’m not sure exactly how many. Is there a way to see the actual number?
You have to go to purchase a land tile and it’ll show you…
You won’t be charge the token (or buy the tile) if you hit cancel.
My Prom Homer dissapeared when I got him from the Love & War box. It happened in both my games & isn’t in my inventory. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks
You need Teenage Homer for him. If you have Teenage Homer he’s attached to him, if you don’t it’s locked in your inventory.
I saw that other people had the same glitch I do in both my games w/ Groundskeeper Wilma being stuck on the 2nd part of quest “rake leaves” There’s a building missing, that’s the issue? Hmm hope they fix that ASAP. Thanks
I received Groundskeeper Wilma from the MB Tokens. I’m on her task to go drink at Joe’s Tavern. I don’t have Joe’s Tavern. It’s not put away in my cache anywhere. Will this be added to the MB Tokens soon? Thank you.

It’s on Highlander Games Pt. 2 and the task is “Make Groundskeeper Wilma Rake Leaves” but there’s no button to do it or go to her.
When I click on her directly the only option is “Play the Bagpipes” 4h, Requires:Quest but it is greyed out.
The only thing I can figure is I’m missing a prop or something. I tried waiting util Willie was free but no change.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but the tokens and mystery boxes are my FAVOURITE parts of most events…as a mostly freemium player there’s usually some great items in the boxes for me. For example in this event I’ve 1 new character, 4 character/building combos and 1 building. Four of those I’m now going to get for free just by playing the event and I can pick up the other 2 for 120 donuts which is less than 1 of the items cost in the first place! Since getting CostMo at thanksgiving I have an abundance of donuts to spent on mystery boxes so I always get excited to see one 😀
I don’t have a mystery box either. It would be nice if EA put some new items in the box so that those of us who have everything can get something new. I love mystery boxes, and was disappointed not to get one.
Me the other day when this started: “Oh, a mystery box… Well let’s see what’s… oh. One character building combo…”

Honestly, I’ve played this gam long enough that if I turn on my XP Collider and send my characters on 8 and 12 hour tasks, I can easily generate the 12 donuts in a day without KEM or bloodmobile farming. EA can keep my MB tokens. If I could, I’d donate them to me fellow Addicts.
Agreed. The Tokens bit is never really a “Prize” for most. You get to buy stuff that you already passed on, because you didn’t want it. And then…donuts…which for me, happen about 30 every 4 hours if I have the collider turned on. So…yay?
I have a few things in my box. Hopefully, they add Groundskeeper Wilma’s building because she’s Questlocked until they do. Same thing happened with Rita LeFleur about a year ago.

Today mine is unglitched. I was able to send Wilma to Rake eaves, which for me happens in the Helementry School. Maybe if that building is missing it won’t work (although on mine it was already out so maybe there was a fix I missed.)
I completed the token part, received the token and i don’t know where it went…. i was looking to convert to donuts, since i don’t have the Mystery box either…
It’s in the invisible storage for the moment…

The optimist in me is hoping that this isn’t a “bug” but a “feature”….that sometime later in the event they’ll release something cool that we can trade our tokens in for, other than donuts. I know that’s highly unlikely and that there’s a very high probability that your right, but a girl can dream, can’t she? 😉

It’s a recurring issue almost every update near the begging game but gets fixed before most people earn their 1st token.

Honestly, I only remember it happening 1 other time, and once EA realized the error they corrected it.
Can I get tokens from daily challenges?
No.
There was also a glitch one day where I was playing the game when the event first started and somehow purchased all these tokens. It happened on my phone as a call came in and when I came back to the game I had 5 of these things (ugh) I never buy them but got them this time 🙁
