Happy Sunday! Act 3 of Love and War is upon us! Also always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on March 10th. However, Act 4 will start on March 2nd.
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Marge and Homer…
Marge: What am I going to do? Temperance is falling for Artie. My beloved protagonist is going to end up with the wrong man!
Homer: Yeah, it’s a literary catastrophe. So, what’s for dinner?
Marge: Why are you even here? I told you that I would call YOU when I’m ready to talk.
Homer: I thought you WERE ready.
Marge: When did you think that happened? When you brought me a half-eaten box of chocolates or when you climbed naked into our bedroom window?
Homer: No, like many developments in our marriage, I thought it happened when I was at Moe’s. I better go back and double-check.
This triggers the Act 3 questline, Heaven and Hell, and is followed by a 4hr task for Marge and Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (115). Heaven and Hell is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…
Here’s the Act 3 Synopsis from EA:
Marge spirals into despair after running out of ideas on how to change Temperance’s decision to go with
Artie, so she seeks the support of her favorite author, Esme Delacroix.Esme suggests to Marge that she should introduce a new villain, one that can kidnap Temperance and
allow Cyrus to save the day, thus reuniting the destined couple. Marge then decides to write
Temperance’s evil husband, Captain Mordecai, back into her book, who promptly appears in Springfield.Captain Mordecai asks a local fisherman for the whereabouts of his missing wife. Confusing Marge for Temperance, Captain Mordecai is sent to Moe’s to look for Homer. Upon arrival, Captain Mordecai is
prepared to kill Homer, but the two end up hitting it off instead.Homer and Mordecai wind up exchanging marital advice, and Mordecai suggests that Homer try and pay more attention to Marge’s interests. After mentioning that Marge has been doing yoga lately, the two head to the local yoga studio to see what it’s all about.
Meanwhile, Marge’s plans are going off-script because Homer keeps interfering with Mordecai. Despite her best efforts to write Mordecai into kidnapping Temperance, Homer keeps leading Mordecai to the yoga studio. After taking some classes, Homer then realizes what a jerk he’s been and sets off to make
up with Marge.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the Heaven and Hell questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this. So don’t forget to SCROLL!

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.

5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track. You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes. So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until March 10th to finish those…

Hi, how do I trigger “Enjoy the View ” task. I just already won act 2 but I don’t see the task on Marge
With Gills offer, I just stopped the event and went onto donut tasks. Had a feeling this would be the case, so already half way there. Something for everyone in this game

I gather that Libido Lisa is now only available when you purchase the 132 donuts… and was taken out of the prize track

It was never part of the prize track. Always the cash item.
Though I remember a discussion about it because people found it in the prize track and in the cash item section. I remember Addicts warning people to hold off buying it until you guys could get more info.
Some said the bought it and only got the donuts and no character ….
But it’s okay.. It;s not in the prize track and so I figure it is safe to buy

Oh dear – my game is stuck just as we start this 3rd act. Basically I sent ALL springfielders to buy milk for a daily challenge and when I collect them, the daily challenge says they have not completed yet, even though they have. And Mr burns is a green tick top left but I cannot click him for no apparent reason as it thinks he’s collecting milk. I’ve logged off and on a few times and collected the milk buyers 3 times now but it’s still like I have not 🙁
Any suggestions?

Prom Night Homer is a Character Skin for Teenage Homer …. I don’t know why EA Teenage Homer isn’t in the Valentine’s Mystery Box (or why both weren’t offered up together), but I can’t see why this Homer Variant isn’t in the Regular Mystery Box – so gamble away 🎰 ! 😉

Agreed, though for a Gil deal isn’t terrible. As good as the God character was (I got him in my first Springfield) I think 777 🍩 is insane!

I will definitely buy both combos in my original Springfield as I have a healthy stash of 🍩. In my 2nd town I’ve bought the first combo but waiting to harvest some more sprinkles before going for the Gil deal.
