  1. Dad Feelings Limited & Diary Queen back to back are the BEST the Simpsons has ever done …. Best to end on a high note then slag along trying to make Episodes that are not going to hold up.

James Brooks and voice actress Marcia Wallace (voice of Edna Krabappel) had a long working relationship in television …. hence the reason why her Character is not Voiced by anyone else.

As for Maude Flanders? That Character was killed off, because the Voice Talent (Maggie Roswell) kept renegotiating until FOX refused to pay the salary she wanted (go figure!)

  2. I am really glad you guys are back to doing AddictsLive! While the game has become lackluster after almost 8 years of playing, you guys always keep my interest in the game.

Really liked the episode Diary Queen. While the opening song was cheezy, I can never get enough West Side Story parodies!

  3. I also had an ah ha moment when Safi said diary. I thought it was dairy too. Now it makes sense. Two great episodes that one and this!

  4. I was sad when Marcia Wallace died but didn’t think the character should be killed off. I found it ironic they made a big deal about Marcia Wallace’s death yet show Martin Prince with another voice actress after Russi Taylor died on this very episode. Some characters get new voice actors but some don’t.?? What’s the reasoning behind that? Does it depend on the pecking order of the character or the voice actor’s fame? I think it depends on what the vocal “masses” say. Case in point, recasting every voice actor of every non white character. The squeaky wheel gets the gets the grease and unfortunately the squeaky wheels now a days are frauds that only want a cause for applause to stroke their egos.
