Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Love and War/Valentine’s Day stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your Love and War inspired designs (by 8pm ET Tuesday, March 9th) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, March 10th.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from the Love and War, new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, March 9th, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

Any chance of an early preview of final designs so don’t miss buying some items.
If they link them here for sure. But often I don’t get them emailed to me until right before the deadline…
I haven’t got any images yet but I can say what I have planned for designs. I have some ideas for the prizes:
*The Love Tester is placed with Moe’s and I might do an outdoor beer garden for Moe’s.
*Temperance’s House is on my shoreline facing the ocean and in front of a dock with ships from previous events (Mayflower, Pirate Ship and Cursed Ship).
*Orfanato De Artie Ziff and Harpoon Hill is by Temperance’s House.
*I might do a little river line for the Tunnel of Love Cave.
*I plan on putting the Downward Doghouse Yoga Studio with Lugash’s Gym and another building.
*Sunset Cruise Boat I might put with a private dock or put it with the ships.
*I haven’t got the Ziff Hotel yet so I don’t know what to do with it yet.
*I haven’t done anything yet for the Harpooned Heart Billboard, Artie Holo-present, Money to Burn Firepit but I think the Holo-present and firepit would look nice with the Ziff-Bouvier Mansion or Ziff Wedding Home, the billboard might look good on a highway design or near some stores.
Not related to this do I’m sorry if this counts as spam. I’ve been having a bug the past couple of days and wondered if it’s normal. My daily task was to send springfielders to buy gifts, which I did. But I can’t collect them. The line of thumbs is there and they go away when I tap the right place (and there’s money and xp) but it doesn’t trigger the task completion and it doesn’t free the characters. They’re still saying ‘collect’ and I can’t get them out.
It’s a common bug. Store and replace the KEM (i assume that’s where they are) it should clear it for you.
