Should I Spend Donuts On the Robot Rumble Announcers and Arena?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Robots are coming, the Robots are coming! Get ready for a dystopian Springfield, as the robots try to take over!  Can they be stopped?  It’s up to you to save Springfield in the latest event to hit our pocket-sized towns…Rise of the Robots! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Robot Rumble Announcers and Robot Rumble Arena to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this battle bot “trio” to your town…

Important Note: You do not get two separate characters with this purchase.  Although visually the Rumble Announcers look like two people, they act like 1 in TSTO.  Like Sherri and Terri.

-Visually two characters, but in reality, it’s only 1 new character for Springfield.
-Chief Knockahomer has an 8hr task at the arena, and Carnage Destructicus has a 12hr task there.  Both will animate the arena…

Here’s the visual animation for the arena:

  1. I would like the arena a lot more if there was an option to tap it so that it stays animated all the time.

  2. I hesitated to buy them, but figured I’d earn the bonus wrenches. I was delighted to hear their hank azaria brockmire voices. Cracked me up. Worth it.

  3. i’m not getting this unless there’s a visual task in the arena (robotssss rrrrrumbling)
even then, It’s pretty big so i’l wait until i get the rr studios to see if i can fit it beside/behind it nicely.
I’m saving my donuts for mr sparkle factory and thai food factory

  4. Bought it expecting some animation in the ring, another wasted opportunity by ea, looks good though and the characters have some good outdoor tasks. It is what it is lol

  5. Raccoon Rumble – ’nuff said 😂 ( I would add sold, but I already grabbed ’em 😊 )
Shame there’s no animated ‘bot carnage at the Arena, but it’s not a deal-breaker 😊

  6. Will there be any visual character tasks in the arena?

    • So far it doesn’t seem like it.

      • I’d already got them. Voiced and a really great questline. Made a home in front of Cletus’s farm for the backyard wrestling ring. Funny visuals and I like that they stay together. Dumb that there’s no visual at the arena but still totally worth it.

  7. Spend the 🍩’s
You will appreciate their funny Visual Character Tasks

2 Voiced Characters ( “he’s killing him softly with his saw” / “there’s no love lost between these emotionless devices”)

1 Robot Rumble Arena (doesn’t take up Real Estate, you get a permanent Character Task for it)

    Plopped until I create a 🤖 Battle Zone !
