Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of Events start. So here’s that separate reminder post…
Act 2 of Rise of the Robots starts tomorrow, Friday April 16th, at 11am ET!
Act 1 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished it you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 2 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline and premium character!
Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 2:
Bart, Chief Knockahomer, Frink and Homer all have tasks (outside of event currency earning tasks) for Part 1 of Act 2.
You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free. As a reminder, they are:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Ned
Skinner
Wiggum
Frink
Robot Rumble Announcers (New Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 2 (New Premium)
And finally, 1 new premium combo will hit during Act 2. As noted above this character will help earn event currency, and you’ll need 150 donuts for that combo should you wish to purchase it.
And that’s it, all you need to know to start up Act 2 tomorrow!

I have the endless spinning donut whenever I’ve tried to log on over the last two days. Has anyone else run into this?
Eser, you’ve basically been hit with the Bart screen, but it hasn’t shown you the screen and it’s waiting for you to tap an invisible retry button !!
If it seems to take longer than usual watch for the donut stopping and starting – that means it is at least trying to connect.
If you’re sure nothing is happening head to recent apps and swipe the game off to close it and then re-launch from your home screen.
I do the same with retries, kinda.
I only tap retry once and if it comes back with a countdown just kill it and restart.
Because the event is easy for me due to being a long time player and have all the characters to earn resources I was finished on Sunday, so 5 days waiting for act 2, there has to be a better way to do the event that suits newer players and long time plays, personally if the acts were continuous would suit me, just a thought, any one have any thoughts on the matter.
I wonder if they might think to keep it as 5 weeks but release each new act and content after just a week. That way long term players get content sooner and a week at the end to put it all together and design and the newer player has that extra time to try and finish all the acts. Maybe they could add a Gil deal or a bit of bonus returning premium content for the start of the fifth week too.

The vast majority of content is from 2 episodes…which will be very long WDTCF posts lol…but they did a good job filling in stuff from other episodes as well

Thanks for the post, new acts used to start a week after the previous one, with the new world part of the excitement is guessing when it is. Perhaps I should use the calendar which someone has spent some time creating.

Each Act is 9 Days, so the best way to factor when another Act starts? Add 2 Days after a Week (Act 3 will begin on a Sunday, Act 4 on a Tuesday) …..
I appreciate the Calendar set up for one Act at a time (and the fact you can still grind for a prior Act’s Prizes if you didn’t finish). 👍🏻
