Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Little Addicts are back this week with a new Adventure! On this Adventure Sunday, we went to our first baseball game since 2019! And what a game it was! We celebrated the Phillie Phanatic’s birthday, saw Bryce Harper hit a homer, and watched Aaron Nola pitch a complete game! Plus the kids had ice cream in baseball helmets (a ballpark tradition)! It was a fantastic family day at the park!

MIss it! The Reds are my closest MLB team, but won’t be seeing them or AAA Louisville this year. Nashville has a group trying to bring MLB there, but I don’t see it happening. Glad y’all had a good time.

The Angels are staying put in Anaheim (when you got money, and you managed to get a tax break from the City, then you will build a new 🏟️) …. we already have Oakland’s Minor League (Aviators), Oakland won’t build a new 🏟️ (I won’t be surprised if the A’s get an offer to come here, let’s end this pandemic and enjoy MLB. 😊
Even though they beat my Cardinals I’m glad you all had a good time. 🙂 I haven’t been to a game in a long time though there isn’t any pro teams very close to me so it’s difficult to get to go to one. I wonder what cost more: the tickets or Sammy’s food budget? lol…Seemed like the little guy was eating the whole time 🙂
Oddly he’s a super picky eater, except for ice cream of course! We brought in a bag of snacks for both kiddos and he just kept grabbing from the snack bag! No complaints on my end, usually it’s a struggle to get him to eat lol
I love the little batting helmets used for ice cream bowls. So clever and you get a souvenir to take home. I have some cardinals and royals ones somewhere with all my baseball junk 🙂
Ha yea we’ve got a good collection. We were actually happy to see they changed them up this year and they’re the baby blue color, we have sooo many red ones.
Fantastic day out, one for my bucket list to watch a baseball and football game, kids look like they enjoyed the day out 🤠
