Where Did THAT Come From- Emma and Cyborg Bart

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

For this post, we’re going to cover the final “quick-blip” items that hit our pocket-sized towns during Act 4 of the Rise of the Robots Event.  Even though they’re all from different episodes, they’re all just a quick blip in the world of The Simpsons.  So, it’s time to examine where Emma and Cyborg Bart come from…hope you didn’t blink or you might’ve missed it!

Let’s kick things off with…

Emma
“Separate Vocations” S3, E17

As I’ve been doing for the last few of these, because these are “quick-blip” items from episodes…I’m only going to cover where the item itself is from…not the whole episode. But for those who want to know more about this specific episode, here’s the synopsis from FOX:

After taking the Career Aptitude Normalization Test, or CANT test, Lisa finds out she’s more suited to be a homemaker, while Bart is more suited to be a police officer. While Bart enjoys his taste of authority, Lisa turns into a bad kid.

We get our first look at Emma 2 minutes and 36 seconds into the episode.  Emma is basically a standardized test grading machine.

“She’s” housed at the National Testing Center in Protorville, Iowa…

Here’s a look at Emma in action…

As the machine is reading/grading Bart’s test it gets stuck.  The old man in his rocker, who keeps watch over the machine, taps it with his broom and says “come on Emma”…

And that’s it, a 15-second blip now in our games…although it’ll likely stay in my inventory.

Onto…

Cyborg Bart
“Treehouse of Horror XVI” S17, E4

Here’s the episode synopsis:

In “B.I.: Bartificial Intelligence”, the family replaces Bart, who is in a coma, with a robot son, but when Bart wakes up he wants revenge on the robot.
In “Survival of the Fattest”, Mr. Burns invites many of the townspeople to go hunting, but Mr. Burns plans to hunt the townspeople. In the end, Homer is the last one alive, but for how long?
In “I’ve Grown a Costume on Your Face”, a witch turns everyone in Springfield into their costumed characters, and Maggie, being dressed as a witch and therefore becoming a witch herself, is the only one who can break the spell.

So, as you may have gathered from the synopsis, Cyborg Bart appears in the first segment “B.I.: Bartificial Intelligence.” After being in a coma, Bart discovers that his family has replaced him with a robot son.  After trying to “take out” the competition of the robot boy, Bart goes for a drive with Homer.  Bart thinks they’re going to the toy store, but really Homer tells him they can’t handle both boys and leaves Bart alone in the middle of the woods.  He’s completely cast off from his family…

While in the woods, some cast-off robots befriend Bart. They take him in and listen to his story, and share their own stories.  It seems like they’ve really made a connection…

That is until they wake up and find that while they were sleeping Bart “harvested” their parts.  At 8 minute and 53 seconds, we find out Bart used those parts to turn himself into Cyborg Bart…

He then fights off Homer and their new robot son, and is victorious!  In the end, Cyborg Bart is lounging outside the Simpson house while Homer, with his new robot legs, is grilling up a feast.  All seems right in the Simpson house…

And that’s it my friends! The details behind the quick-blip Act 4 Rise of the Robots items!

Do you remember them from the show?  Have you unlocked the items yet?  Where have you placed them in your Springfield?  Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!
