It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I have a question concerning thawing meat patties…How can one just have them stop doing it?

Hi, it says that i don’t have the right job location for picking up lotus flowers for the new event. I don’t know what pond it wants me to put down. I have rivers and i put 4 rivers together in a square but that didn’t work.
Look for a pond in your store in the decoration section.
I am playing TSTO on an anonymous account for a long time. I wanted to make an EA account but after I created one it wouldn’t let me login. I heard other people are having this problem too,anyway to help?
Just unrelated I have played for a while but just made an account. I made an account and tried to login but it it in error code.any other way to fix? it it’s very frustrating
It looks like EA has decided that it is to much bother to allow people to change old email addresses that can not get the verification code.
I have been trying to get them to change it since the start of the event, have the mayhem number, level, number of donuts, last item purchased but they still won’t accept that it is my game!
I have now lost 2 of the families games because of being logged out by EA.
If they had given notice that they were going to change the login method I am sure that many of the people who are in the same position as me would have changed to a new login email.
I am so annoyed by this stupid situation.
I will never spend any more money on the one game that I will be able to play.
What a ridiculous way to run a business and ruin people’s enjoyment of a game.
It’s so odd because others have no issue making the change. I supposed it has to do with the representative that you speak with. Personally, I’d say try again and try to get someone different.
This may be a basic question but I’ll ask anyway! How do we get more land? We can only unlock more land using land tokens. How do I get more tokens? They are very rarely awards from daily quests. Is there any other way to earn them? Thank you!
Be on the lookout for Golden Goose Realty. It’s a limited-time building, so it’s not currently available in the game. But if/when it comes back buy it (it’ll cost donuts). It generates land tokens every 12hrs. Beyond that, just the Daily Challenges.
Might the next update be Pride 2021?
It is possible, as there have been different Pride Events in Game App (2015, 2017, 2018, 2020) 🏳️🌈

I’m grateful that Alissa & Safi encouraged rewatching the last 4 Episodes in Season 32 to decide what would be New Content in Game App (got to agree that Last Episode would be a perfect Stonecutters style Event ) 🤔
I’m sorry if Tappers are still having difficulty with ‘obtain code to login’ (either find a way to Login OR feel free to let EA know how you feel on the official Facebook Page – trust me they see everything!) 😉
Greetings fellow Tappers, I have a question, I sent most of town to do a daily task for a doughnut, and the task was done in four hours and I had my doughnut, but for some reason I have to keep tapping on the building where my characters are because the task “isn’t done yet” any ideas of what should I do?

That has happened before where you receive an
extra building .
In one of my towns I have three IRS buildings .
If you decide to put one in storage group it with like a tree or something .
If it’s a unique item it will not let you put it back out if it’s by itself because you can only have one unique item in your town .

Well, my one Springfield is not playable anymore. I get the code in my email, put it into the app, and it says incorrect code. I am guessing it is because my email address was changed AFTER I created the account, but is still the same email account. Any suggestions or ideas?
I had a similar issue. I called support and they had me delete and reinstall the game. They might have done something on there end I’m not sure. They said it was a syncing issue.
Hello fellow tappers. Happy Sunday y’all. From time to time I like to individually assign jobs. It gives me a sense of pleasure to see the variety of animated tasks available.
I finally got the dreaded verify email login this past week. The first time when I exited and open the game it disappeared and I was sign in. The second time it happen I had to verify and the code didn’t work the first time I submitted it. Luckily it worked the second attempt.
I have been rewatching the Simpsons to see which is my favorite season. I realized that they removed stark raving dad from Disney+ it is skipped over and mr Lisa goes to Washington is listed as the first episode.
I personally wouldn’t use a collect all button for characters if they came out with one because I keep a fair amount of characters continuously doing the same visual tasks to bring interest to an area of town or animate a particular building. I know other Tappers do the same thing.
When Simpsons moved to Disney+ and I heard they were censoring episodes, I started looking for the DVD box sets at thrift stores. I keep a memo in my phone of what Seasons I have, they are generally priced under $5, I check them in the store and I’ve been amazed that some look totally brand new.
Anyone else notice in the default splash screen that skyfinger is pointing out to Homer that he has a large capital S in his mouth? You’re welcome.
After a week trying to contact EA helpdesk with request to change my email login address which i no longer use i am without any luck still got my heart broken as i cant log in to my town….

Yes, I did twice. Be sure to do it when you have a lot of time on your hands to redecorate. If you have sections you love, be sure to store them in your inventory as a group first.
