It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The login access Code issue worked for me by resetting my password by logging into ea’s website and hitting the ‘forgot password’ as I’ve had to do every bloody update.
I’ve sorted it out by just using my phone(and copy pasting the code a, nd the game resettingeach time) but it’d probably been smoother if I’d use both my phone and pc at the same time. Took me about 10x resetting the code though, nevermind the connectivity issues to servers in southern Africa. And of course I had to update about 3 1/2 gigs, but yeah. EA are deaf and we’re addicted. Smh
Not sure where to post this question, but how do we get land tokens if you don’t have the golden goose realty? My girlfriend needs to open up some land and I think she has used all of hers. I haven’t seen them in the prize tracks for a bit. Is there any way to buy land token,, or get the golden goose realty anymore?
Unfortunately not. A while back, people would occasionally get it as a reward for a daily challenge.
Just spoke to EA and they said that they were working to fix the verification code issue. Once they fix the issues we shouldn’t be getting any more codes
Guys, we need to bombard HELPEA’s twitter with messages from TSTO. We cannot remain silent and accept the pork service of the game’s technicians. Let’s go in search of our rights. Tired of being slighted! We need to show our strength!
If you are still having problems with login, ask the chat advisor to do the verification of the account though origin page rather than ask for information about your old accounts.
They should be able to do it. This is what worked for 3 of the 4 family games that I have tried to change.
Tell them to do it this way!
Log in to origin.
Choose PC>report a bug>send feedback >put the number given by the chat advisor in the subject box. Fill in all the boxes. Send email. Get case number, give it to the advisor. Then give working email to change account access to.
Then fingers crossed that you can get the verification code and login to your game.
As I said it worked for me, mostly. Still out of 1 game but have secured 3,thankfully.

EA have lost all interest in this game and this new f**k up is the final straw surely their powers that be must read comments from various sources so they’ve got to know whats going on fed up with it 😳
Been playing this game from the start. This latest log in issues are probably the last straw for me. I have spent thousands on this game. I cant see how verification is needed every time. It’s just so ridiculous they can’t ever get it right. The game won’t last much longer only because EA can’t sort out their issues.

smooth sailing from here (unless EA logs you out of your Origin Account – lol). Got to make more room for large Buildings like Kathmandu U. 👍🏻
CJ I plan on creating an area for kathmandu and all the other new items, I might even move the Buddha area I previously created, then do a tidy up and see what space I have for future events, don’t think I will have room for many more, possible 1 or 2 small events or one big one.
That will be the end for me unless ea releases some land preferably heights, I have created areas and won’t put them into storage, There also the log on server issues I am getting a bit frustrated at.
So as they say it is what it is.
I agree about the fact we put so much into creating separate areas within our Springfields, that it’s disappointing to have to remove Content in order to make room for New Content (if EA wanted to kill this Game App? that small dedicated staff can just keep failing) ….. I guess I could shrink my Krustyland , but honestly there’s no excuse for not having a Land Expansion / Item Limits increased.
If I could login to this Game App? I would probably walk away too
Couldn’t get ice for my g@t, seriously fed up.
Another hour and a half on EA chat. Confirmed the game was mine. Got the email to confirm ownership ok. Still no verification code. Just get the error message repeatedly.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled × 2, shut down device and restarted Closed all origin pages, cleared cache, moved game from device memory to sd card memory and back .
Advisor had no more ideas. Does anyone have a clue about what is going on?

Have you forced stopped the app in app settings? That was the fix for me. Then clear cache andcm restart your phone. Previous posts has addtl step by step
Tried your tip, but no joy for me. I can get emails from all other source except verification code!
I will try any ideas at this moment in time.
Straight up!! If I start getting the two factor identification with issues ( so far so good) I am done after 8 years and spending a fair amount of real dollars every year. Easier to delete the game that fight with EA.
I asked a question on a different post the other day regarding the Ultra Luxury Yacht, and I still haven’t gotten a response.
Does anyone know why the Ultra Luxury Yacht is not appearing in TSTO’s game store anymore?
Keep an eye on the vault, it might appear there, sorry it all I have.
I believe you can only have 2 Ultra Luxury Yachts and then they disappear from the store. Check to see if you have them in your ocean somewhere or if you stored them.
Yes, I do already have 2 of them. But where does it say that I am limited to having only 2 Ultra Luxury Yachts in my Springfield?
It usually doesn’t say it in the game, it’s coded in the files. The item just disappears from the store when you’ve maxed out.
It only appears in the store how many you can have (just like the other Springfield Heights items that have a limit on them like the upgradable buildings) so if you don’t have any Ultra Luxury Yachts then it’ll say “0/2” in the store, if you have 1 ULY then it’ll say “1/2” in the store. If you have 2 ULYs then it’ll disappear from the store, like Alissa said.

But your explanation was simple and to the point…
I can understand Springfield Heights items having limits on them, but only 2 Ultra Luxury Yachts?! That is ridiculously lame on EA’s part in my opinion. A limit of 5 ULYs would be more reasonable, and I don’t necessarily want to have that many in my Springfield, I just wanted to add a third Ultra Luxury Yacht, because it would work with my layout for the Ornate Pier.
Alissa: Haha, most of the time its just remembering trivial stuff about the game and I did recently buy my 2nd Ultra Luxury Yacht. You should be getting paid by EA for all the work you do here.
Mike: Yeah, I tried to go into a bit more detail. I would’ve posted an image of the ULY in the store but I didn’t have one and I couldn’t find one online since it has the limit appearing in the store.
garfieldofborg: I honestly don’t know why EA limited the ULYs to 2 since the other Springfield Heights items with limits are usually 5 or 10.
It’s okay, I don’t expect you know the reasons behind the actions of EA and its game developers, especially on even the most trivial of things regarding game content. What I expect is for EA and its game developers to not be stupid about how they run their games, especially regarding TSTO.
Anybody else getting a continual “error occurred processing the login ” message today?
Not even getting as far as asking for the verification code.
