It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Strange thing is happening, my jobs are not registering. I have five game, so I can imagine not setting my people out on one game. But this time 3 of my 5 games did not have people completing tasks. When I logged in only my Yahweh task completed. The others were as if I hadn’t sent them on their jobs. Just wondering if anyone else has been having this problem.
Hi everyone – Can someone help me out with an issue I have?
I have maybe 50 people doing a job of “thawing” meat patties. I think I performed it on the last game they had.
The thing is, they keep thawing these meat patties, and I can’t seem to do anything else with these people. Does anyone know how they can stop doing this job?

I don’t think any of the screens have been drawn by him. Just a requirement to have his signature on it. Not sure why it’s not on this one, perhaps a layer they left off
Has anyone had issues logging into the game? I got this verification code I need to enter but the email attached to my account doesn’t get the code. I’m wondering if there’s a bug or other players having this problem?

I enjoyed the Act 2 Premium Characters (we got a Gil Deal!) with their Questlines (Visual Character Tasks are funny!)
Most of Act 2’s Prizes were dumb (Bodhi Tree is great)
Here’s hoping we don’t get anymore HUGE Buildings

Has anyone had trouble starting Act 2 jobs? It’s working fine for me, but my daughter (level 24) receives messages like “Lisa’s job location for job Find Rick Stacks in the Mountains is currently not available.”
In my game, most of the jobs are happening at Springfield Gorge, which my daughter doesn’t have and seemingly doesn’t have a chance to buy. Does that mean she’s SOL for Act 2?
FWIW, Act 1 worked fine for her.

According to the files you need a rock formation/mountain in Springfield for the main characters to do the task, here’s the list:

And for the premium characters with this event you’d need:

Thanks so much for the quick reply! She can buy Mt Fuji for 80 donuts. She’s reluctant to tap into her donut stash (not sure what she’s waiting for), but it’s good she has a choice now. 🙂
I’m not a fan of the way EA did this one for sure! But glad she still has an option.
Good Morning! Today when I opened the game I saw a small update occur. I was hopeful they fixed the login code bug, but it looks like the same problem continues. I can’t get into the game anymore. too bad this situation.
I don’t know what the update was for but it locked me out of the game for the first time since all this verification code BS started when going between my towns. Had to delete totally and reinstall on my phone in order to get back in. IPad was fine.
Contact EA and ask them to go through the origin page to change your login email to one you can get mail . If you ask them to do it this way it has a much higher chance of working. Its not foolproof though, I am stil unable to get into 1 game. Good luck.
