Springfield Enlightened Act 4 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Are you ready to reach true enlightenment?  Feel an inner peace you may have been missing in your life?  Inner peace might be nice after the Robots tried to destroy Springfield… Get ready as Siddmartha comes to Springfield to bring us all a little calmness in the latest event to hit our pocket-sized towns…Springfield Enlightened!  As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Remember, this is the FINAL Act of this event!  So complete this Act, and any others you haven’t yet completed, by the time the event ends next Wednesday, July 14th!

Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Siddmartha, her Mother, and Brother…

Siddmartha: Mom, he’s destroying my philosophy. He’s luring away my followers with raucous parties and fatty treats.
Queen Gautama: You may want to reconsider your approach if that’s all it takes to lure away followers.
Prince Gautama: Oh, snap. Walked right into that one.
Siddmartha: Mom!
Queen Gautama: What do you want me to do, Siddmartha? I love my children equally.
Siddmartha: You could send him to the tower and still love him equally.
Queen Gautama: True. Guards, escort the prince to the tower so he can think about what he’s done.
Prince Gautama: Wait, what? I can think about what I’ve done just fine from down here!
Siddmartha: Snap back at ya!

This triggers the Act 4  questline, Buddhism Sans, and is followed by a 4hr task for Siddmartha Prince Gautama, and Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (125).  Buddhism Sans is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…

Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:

Queen Gautama arrives in Springfield and scolds her unruly son for ruining his sister’s fun. She grounds him and banishes him to the royal tower to think about what he’s done. With her brother out of the way, Siddmartha tries her best to woo the townsfolk back to normal Buddhism (sans donuts), but she struggles to offer an appealing alternative and gets fed up. She begins to lose her Zen. The Dalai Lama arrives in town, having sensed a disturbance in the force, just in time to stop Siddmartha from doing something she would truly regret. Siddmartha confers with the Dalai Lama and he indicates that surprisingly, donuts are not against the teachings of the Buddha. He says only that they must be eaten in
moderation to provide balance, much to Homer’s chagrin. After seeing exactly how many donuts the town of Springfield eats, even the Dalai Lama is appalled and momentarily loses his cool. Siddmartha must remind him of everything he just told her. The Dalai Lama and Siddmartha agree that they could both use some Zen right now, so they go together to take a class on making salt mandalas. When they see that Lenny and Carl are the only other attendees at the class, they realize that Springfield has dropped the “Buddhism” half of “Buddhism with Donuts”, creating yet a third philosophy, simply titled “Donuts”. This new philosophy is pretty much the same as before Siddmartha came to Springfield.

As I stated above, you’ll go right into the Buddhism Sans questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

  1. So far my designed area is 13 by 26=338 squares, and might have to increase a little to space everything out, I like all the decorations in this event but as I and everyone else has been saying we need more land or designing areas is going to be impossible. EA achieve inlightenment and release all the land 🤓😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    • Overall the Towers are more animated when in use vs the large Palaces (I was expecting more from Katmandu U, at least it is used in Act 4). 👍🏻

This is a more cohesive / fun Multi-Act Event compared to 🤖’s (and Marge writing romance novels), but – yes Sir – EA knows we need more Land and by now there is no excuse for not making this available (so please feel free to let them know how you feel on the official TSTO Facebook Page, it’s got to be the most relevant topic compared to “I quit because I can no longer log into this Game App!”)

  2. This is pretty great set of items to end the event on since Act 4 of this event is much better than Act 4 of the Rise of the Robots event. The Dalai Lama and Jogyesa Temple looks like one of the better character/building combos of the event. The first 2 prizes being a character and building is a good start to the act. The animated job for Lisa might be cool. The Salt Mandela could go with the Springfield Buddhist Temple or with the other items in this event. The Enlightenment Fountain looks interesting, I wonder what if it represents the type of players that play the game and the whales keep the game or EA afloat.

    • You’ll have an easier time finding space for the Jogyesa Temple (I appreciated the New Character and New Building in Act 4’s Prize Bracket). 👍🏻

  3. Can’t tell if the Dalai Lama not having a quest line is a bug or an act of respect given who the Lama is…

    • There is a questline. May not trigger until the Act is over

    • Mr Lemming

Heed the advice from Alissa (or I can just tell you right now that obtaining the Dalai Lama w/Jogyesa Temple offers up one of the best Visual Tasks ever!)

I think this could be the first time in a long time we’ve had an event where every single New Character is voiced (at least all of the Premiums are) the exception is Marquess Milhouse (yeah, a bummer since day one that Millhouse isn’t voiced).

  4. Spend those sprinkles for Dalai Lama & Jogyesa Temple …. then have fun with Act 4 (remember Buddha Homer endorses the consumption of 🍩’s!) 😊

  5. Cool hair design 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  6. The Lisa Reaches True Enlightenment (Animated Job) is at the Big Tree, right?

The viewing area needs a subject!

    • random email

      SPOILER

Lisa sits cross legged with a third eye on her forehead floating around Springfield and randomly a crow shows up to peck at her head (and that’s all).
