Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Springfield Enlightenment stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your Enlightened-inspired designs by 8pm ET Tuesday, July 13th and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, July 14th.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from the Springfield Enlightened Event, new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, July 13th, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

I have several of the tokens for the chest, but as of yet there seems to be no way to convert them into anything useful. Do you know if I’m missing something, or if they’re not doing the donut trade for this one?
That’s odd. You should be able to convert them to donuts.
Where should I be seeing that option? Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place.
If you still have the mystery box it won’t show up until the event ends. If you’ve closed out the box it should appear in the same area of the enlightenment items, you may have to scroll.
Again, it won’t show up unless you’ve cleared the box completely, but once the event ends (and the box leaves) it’ll show up if you still have tokens.
That’s probably why then. I still have the box. The only thing I want from it is the snare, and my box is well populated so it’s unlikely I’ll get it. I probably remembered wrong that the donut exchange happened earlier in previous events 🙂
Yup, it always happens once the box is gone from your store. That may be through clearing the box (or not having it to start), or the event ending and removing it. But you’ll be able to exchange them soon enough 🙂
I have been enlightened, early images have shown me I can put those crazy whales on a river or lake. Looks like the great wall of China will be making a return. So much to do, so little time to do it in.

Don’t know where else to ask this but you guys always seem to be on top of things . For the last couple of days when I click on Marge to finish her quest it sends me to where she is supposed to be but she isn’t in the window or anybody else doing that task . The only fix I’ve found so far is storing Moe’s and getting her out is there Anybody else having this issue or is it just me? By the way thank you guys for al, that you do your great ambassadors of this game

Yes, you can store a Building, if it is causing a glitch, then put it back in your Springfield (you can also reboot your Device, this should clear the cache in the Game App, then Login and see if that works).

so I just finished event, the fountain I was able to put on the river! I don’t know of any other decorations you can do that for. i have it next to the temple. Sent you email with screenshots for showoff event

I believe you are correct in this is one of the first Decorations we got that allows you to place it on Water Tiles (on Land) vs in the Ocean.
Imgur is one of the easiest ways to share a Photo of your Springfield (uploading there will help you generate a link), well it is for me.
