The End is Near for Springfield Enlightenment…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a reminder that the Springfield Enlightenment Event Ends TOMORROW July 14th.

Hopefully, you’ve all reached true Enlightenment, as we move onto something new in Springfield!

As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any questline) you were able to finish.  Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.

This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.

As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.

Also, It’s EA so who the heck knows…the trend seems to be a week off between Multi-Events and Mini-Events.  So it’s likely we’ll see nothing this week, and a mini-event next week.  Perfect time for redesign work!

(and don’t forget about Showoff!  Submissions are due tonight!)

Now as far as what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…

  • Questlines linked directly to the progression of the event will go. Like the Main Questline that pulled you through all 4 Acts. (unless you’ve started one, any questlines started you’ll be able to finish that part one the event ends)
  • However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so The Dalai Lama, Queen Gautama, Siddmartha, etc)
  • The event removal will likely require an app store update to fully remove it from your game.  So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game (or the splash screen remains the same)…  It will require an app store update to remove everything.

I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events, EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”.  In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends.  So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one.  Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.

So finish up those questlines, relax, and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.

Oh and another reminder…don’t forget Springfield Showoff!  Submissions for your event designs should be emailed (TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com) by tonight.  So please be sure to send them in! 🙂

Are you sad to see the event go?  Or ready for it to finally be over?  How did you do with the prizes?  Get everything you wanted?  What are you hoping to see next?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  2. I was going to get the Quik E Mart CEO last night but an updated downloaded, removing the event. Hopefully he will be made available at some later time.

  3. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to log into the game in over a week. I’m not receiving verification codes from EA the game. My last attempt to work with EA resulted in my finally being able to log into my account, but not the game. I was told it was happening to many players. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    • A lot of people are having problems with this new login. It feels like the game is on it’s last legs.

      • It wouldn’t allow me to verify login for Origin, either. The chat assistant had to send me the codes within the chat. Weird times.

    • Sadly there are quite a few players not being sent codes.
From what I can make of it, it seems to be an account / profile issue rather than in-game glitch and EA are struggling to work out why some players are affected and others get the codes no trouble.

There doesn’t seem to be anything a player can do if the email isn’t being sent but just to be sure I’d suggest . . .

Log in on your email provider website and :
Check the spam / junk folder
Add EA (at) e.ea.com – typed correctly – as a contact

Log in to your EA account and : –
      Check your email is verified
      Reset your password
While there add a secondary email / phone number just in case and make sure all your details are correct and up to date

After that keep your fingers crossed, and if it didn’t help keep an eye out for posts in case a work-round is ever found or if it gets fixed but you’ve stopped trying to log in. Good luck

      • Yup…did all that and still no codes so I’m just patiently waiting. Can’t edit anything in my Origin account because you have to…wait for it…verify that you’re you before making any changes…#catch22🤦🏽‍♀️

        • That’s odd . . .
The “Account Confirm” emails, as well as those from anyone you contact at EA Help usually arrive, at least according to the other affected players I’ve heard from.
Pity you can’t use the account verify code to log in to the game though when you do get those 🙁
