Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Been trying to log in for 30 minutes now. I enter my e-mail address and check my email but no code is sent. I’ve done this multiple times for each account. Anyone else having this problem? This verification code BS was the worst decision made by EA.
Hi! I hope everyone is doing well. I recently “won” Barfy’s Bar in the Mystery Box and in order to capture Barfy I apparently need to purchase Sorcerer Frink. If I don’t purchase him, will this task disappear from my taskbook once the event is over, or do I need to purchase Sorcerer Frink now to avoid the task sticking around forever? I tried storing Barfy’s Bar but it made no difference. Thanks!

Are you getting the Bart Simpson Screen of Death (aka Network Can’t Connect)?
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I’m frustrated because I’m not able to log in. I enter my email address, it sends me a code and when I enter the code it says it can’t be verified. I tried multiple times. I unistalled and reinstalled the game. I contacted EA support chat, they said it’s a known issue and the support team should have it fixed soon. This has been going on for over 3 weeks.. 🙁
Keep up hope, though it also took a long time in my case. I wasn’t receiving verification codes for over a month, and after multiple chats with EA, I recently got the code and am playing again. I like the event so far and will purchase Pixel Homer near the end of the event when I can afford it. Good luck!

I know this verification code is dumb, however everywhere is using it from the Bank to the Utility Companies (be sure you’re using a legit email address such as one from Gmail or Outlook, not a work email – or Yahoo) … Tappers who had the most problems for those that did not keep their Origin Account up to date (ie Login with a defunct email address) ….. keep trying, just remember it’s a small dedicated EA Staff running this Game App!
I agree, I’m pretty much ready to give up. Yes everyone is using them so why is EA so bad at implementing it?

Really think we need a post office for our towns (besides the wild West one…something more fitting for the general town). I had forgotten about the Western one and was wondering where the task to go to the post office was going to take….Ned(?)….I forget which character, so I had to follow him around to see where he’d end up.
There’s the Springfield Post Office (white building that looks a little similar to the Springfield Library and Police Station) which Smithers has a 4 hour task there. I would like to see an event about the post office since Postmaster Bill and the Female Mail Carrier would be great characters added to the game.

OMG, you’re right! I have it kind of tucked behind the courthouse and assumed, when Smithers (yes, that’s who it was!) went to the Western post office, I just assumed that was his only choice. Thanks for the reminder!
It would be neat if they gave that building some kind of special function, like how you can use town hall to find characters, or the unemployment office to send them on tasks. What would be a good function for the post office? Hmmmm….
Maybe you could find what characters are linked to what buildings, or who has tasks associated with a certain building.
I think sending messages or items or currency to neighbours would be a great function for the post office since it is rarely used apart from having a couple of tasks there.
Those ideas were kind of along the lines of what I was thinking…it just seemed that the post office, more than just some other random buildings, ought to have a real “function” to it. I like the idea of messaging friends….not sure EA would go for sharing goodies with friends, because they ideally want you to buy or earn stuff, rather than giving you a way to get stuff “for free.” I mean, why buy a bonsai, when I could give you 300 of them (and still have another 50-60 of them left for myself)? 😉

By golly I hope everyone’s having a nice day with Family ….. I just barely started the Questlines post Act 1 – which I will pick up on tomorrow – and the puns just keep on coming (yay Writers!) – no spoilers, just tap through Act 1 and 😂 thru it!
Alright, time to take the Mrs to the Movies (yay 55+ discounts!)
So…REAAAALLY trying to get into this update. It just feels so desperate, disjointed, and weird. But, then again…like every update since 2018 (or before) it’s really easy. So, my “why not?” overcomes my apathy, and I find myself rushing once a week with farmed donuts, to get content, that I mostly just stick in storage. Thank God I’m retired…or the pace of this game would actually annoy me!

PLEASE SEND US SOME RAIN! We haven’t had any since May in “the Real Springfield,” and half of our gorgeous forests are on fire….again.

Prolonged drought + excessive heat …. It’s no longer just in California Nevada Utah Arizona …. Sorry to see it also includes New Mexico Colorado Wyoming Idaho …. parts of Washington State Oregon (and watching the 🔥’s burn out of control is just sad).
I still prefer the Mini Event vs the Multi Act Event (and yes the Event Format has needed to change since 2018). Due to the lack of space, I find myself only keeping what I want as far as New Content goes (maybe 20% – 30%), the rest goes right in the Storage.
I am with everyone who enjoyed Act 1 largely due to the black and white Noir themed Content, but I don’t know what I will think about the rest of this Event (last two Multi Act Events I didn’t even bother to finish, because the Content got dumb and I lost interest).
Believe me if EA gets any L-EA-Z-Y-ier, I will spend more time playing the Arcade Cabinet Simpsons vs this Game App. 🍩’s and Simpsons 💵 are no longer treated like a commodity (whatever $9 🍩’s deal we get offered up is not worth it) – but I’m an Addict for this Game App. 😂

I would have been happy to have a Noir Event with black and white Characters, Buildings, Decor, Roads, etc (just an entire Event that’s Noir) … Paddy Wagon, Ambulance, Phone Box on Lamp Post – Act 1 was fun, now I have to prepare for Act 2 thru Act 4 potentially being ‘meh’ .
I don’t think there is enough stuff to make a noir area since I can only think of Gimbel’s Department Store and King Homer’s Skyscraper being the only black and white items. You could make a 1930s or a New York area in your town to put the noir items. You could including Wholesome & Sons Publishing and The Coot Society in your design if you wanted to try a 1930s area.
If you ignore the gold sign on top and the blue tint of the windows, the Zenith City Times building is of the right era and could fit in nicely.

You need to free up space on your device (and potentially clear your cache). You need at least 15gb free for tsto

Hi Alissa, at around 3:00 am this morning I got a huge download of 2164.9 mb. I wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget.

It’s likely an issue with your device you need to free up some space on your device
Does anyone know the answer to my question about the download ? I have no issues with the game it’s working fine. Was just curious.

Hi, phikap65. I have the same issue: exactly 2164.9 MB each day I start the game up. I thought it might be my device’s storage since that usually is the case with most games – low storage. However, I examined my tablet’s storage: “Tapped Out” – 18.38GM total usage; tablet storage: 68% used (i.e., 21.95 GB of 32GB; data: 1.44GB, cache 586KB (as in kilo!, woohoo), App storage 134 MB (not really sure what that is), 1.57 GB total storage used by game (to play?). Deleting this KB of cache is kind of meaningless for TSTO. Deleting data is usually a bad idea for any game. If the spare 10 GB isn’t enough to play the game without an “update” each day, then I am really misunderstanding the false update each day. heh/shrug
We usually recommend 15GB at least free…annoying, but that should prevent it from happening.
I deleted some minor apps and a movie I downloaded and forgot about. That left me with 8GB and was able to download the game again. I have to chalk it up to the fact that EA keeps sending stuff like “passwords to get in. Also check to see what your deleted emails have not be fully deleted. If not needed permanently delete them this will free up storage. Hope you can get back in without reinstalling.
