Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of events will start. So here’s that separate reminder post…
Act 2 of the Into the Simpsonsverse Event starts tomorrow, Friday, August 13th (Friday the 13th!), at 11am ET!
Act 1 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished it you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 2 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline, and premium character (plus Gil will be making an appearance)!
Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 2:
Homer and Noir Homer have 4hr tasks to start Act 2.
You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free. As a reminder, they are:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Burns
Smithers
Lenny
Carl
Noir Lisa (Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 2 (Premium)
And finally, 1 new premium combo will hit during Act 2 that will help with the event, As noted above this character will help earn event currency, and you’ll need 200 donuts for that combo should you wish to purchase it.
Also, Gil will be making an appearance during Act 2. You’ll need 200 donuts available for his latest “deal”.
And that’s it, all you need to know to start up Act 2 tomorrow!

Is anyone here on iOS having issue where the game keeps downloading the 2GB+ of data every time you run it? I’ve had it DL like 5 times so far. I deleted the game and reloaded it and hopefully it will stop but confidence is not high with EA… :-\
You need more space on your device…we recommend at least 15GB free

If the second event doesn’t begin… what should I do ?
Well…you could throw your phone against the wall. Or you could wait until it actually starts which is in about 2hrs from now (11am ET), as the post above indicates.

Anyone else having problems with not logging in the game today? Been trying for the last few hours and doesn’t even make it to the login screen.

Are you getting the Bart Simpson Screen of Death (aka No Network Connection)? It happens, I’d just wait it out (if you went to @EAHelp on Twitter you would see a feed of Network outages around the 🌎 ).
Usually takes a few hours, rarely takes a day, but the Network will be back up.
Act 2 tomorrow!
If any one is still not getting verification codes, try EA help again. I was logged out of a game today, didn’t receive the code on a “real” email. Contacted EA and within 15 minutes received a code and was back in the game.
Hopefully they have finally sorted the broken algorithm at last.
I would advise anyone locked out to keep trying before tomorrow’s next part of the event.
Usually, at this time in an event, I’d be busy dropping KEMs and Rat Trucks to amass the 300+ doughnuts for the next act premium, and the Gil deal…
Not really feeling it this time though. :/

I got so many 🍩’s (6000) that I can sit and wait for Act 2. I had fun for the most part with Act 1 ….. my problem with Multi-Act Events is everything goes downhill after Act 1 (Prizes suck, gameplay gets dumb) …. I only completed one Multi-Act Event this year, so I’m learning that if there’s no interest? then it’s okay to take a break from TSTO (sometimes I only want the Premium Content, sometimes only want one or two Prizes, I’m definitely with every long-term Tapper that needs to have a Land Expansion … it’s why a lot of Content goes in the Storage).
