Into the Simpsonsverse Act 2 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Who’s ready to take a trip into the multi-verse?!  Get ready for the many Homer, and other Simpson, doppelgangers to invade our Springfields through the multi-verse portal in the latest multi-event to hit our Springfield’s…Into the Simpsonsverse!  As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on September 8th.  However, Act 3 will start on August 22nd (Note the Sunday start date).

Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between the multiple Homers…

Noir Homer: What the? Who in the Sam Spade are you?
Princess Homer: Princess Homer, at your service.
Noir Homer: You’re a wide drink of water, alright, but I reversed the portal to take us back to the ‘30s. Why is it spitting out dames?
Princess Homer: You didn’t reverse anything. You’ve opened up a portal to the Fantasy Universe.
Noir Homer: The Fantasy Universe? What does that mean?
Homer: Hmm. If you’ve opened up a portal to the Fantasy Universe, and this lady says she’s a princess…Oh, no! Quick, you’ve gotta stop her. Maggie made me watch a ton of these and I know what’s coming next.
Noir Homer: Some sort of dangerous fantasy attack?
Homer: Worse. A musical number!
Princess Homer: And a one, and a two, and a…

This triggers the Act 2  questline, The Royal Maltreatment and is followed by a 4hr task for Homer and Noir Homer, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (115).  The Royal Maltreatment is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…

Here’s the Act 2 Synopsis from EA:

Princess Homer now finds herself in Springfield, along with her pumpkin carriage. While getting acquainted with Noir Homer and Homer, she is interrupted by another traveler through the portal, Evil Godmother Burns.

The godmother announces her plans for multi-verse domination, but when she realizes she’s outnumbered by Homers, she offers them all poison beers, which they cannot refuse, and then steals Princess Homer’s pumpkin carriage while they are asleep. When they wake, they decide to follow the trail of pumpkin seeds left behind to track down the godmother.

They make their way to the Land of Fruits and Vegetables, where they find Princess Jules, who informs them that the godmother took enough food to feed an army and left. Realizing that the godmother intends to summon an army through the portal, they quickly make their way back to the power plant where Noir Homer tries to power the portal down, which backfires and opens a portal to the Anime Universe.

As I stated above, you’ll go right into The Royal Maltreatment questline, which is what the Act 2 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 2 prizes.

The currency we’re working on collecting for Act 2…

DO NOT FORGET TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN IN THE TASK BOXES (PICTURED ABOVE) TO BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS FOR EACH PART.

I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this.  So don’t forget to SCROLL!

Here are the prizes for Part 2:

Pumpkin Carriage (Decoration)- The Royal Maltreatment Pt. 1 and 115

Mystery Box Token- The Royal Maltreatment Pt. 2 and 155

Evil Godmother Burns (Premium)

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency.  From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event.  So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.

Characters earn:

5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

Act 1 Prizes

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track.  You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes.  So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until September 8th to finish those…

  1. My Mystery Box disappeared for Act 2 – I had one item left, Magic Academy Ruins. I have the token now but no Mystery Box. Has this happened to anyone else? I will hold on to the token and see if it comes back in Act 3.

  2. I’m confused. Evil Godmother Burns is premium, but also required to complete “The Royal Maltreatment Pt. 2”? I rarely buy premium characters so perhaps I’m just out of the loop. Does EA add special tasks involving premium characters to main quest storylines if you purchase them? Or is this some sort of error?

  3. They could’ve done a Disenchantment crossover with this event.

  4. I like the look of the items in this act. It’s nice to see 2 characters on the prize track even if one of them is an NPC and that there isn’t a building prize in this act. The 2 decorations look pretty and I hope they both have some animations with them. The 2 character building combos seem great as well. I didn’t have a mystery box so the token will be changed into donuts.

I would love to get Lord Montymort from the mystery box since him, the Evil Shopkeeper and 2 Goblins are the only items I am missing from the magic Halloween event but because he is in a bundle with his lair and the Magic Academy Ruins, I can’t get him on his own since I already have the lair and ruins from the original event.

      Krusty the Clown Doll
      Evil Shopkeeper
      Magician from Casino Event
Ms Springfield as Cocktail Waitress (?)

Those are just a few that I’m missing and they never show up in a Mystery Box (it wouldn’t take much for that small dedicated EA Staff to offer ’em up for Tokens!)

🎃 Carriage is fine, doesn’t take up much Real Estate (Evil Godmother Burns’ Castle is perfect a place in the Mountain Range, so I don’t have to make room for it!)

Yeah I lost interest in Act 2, let’s see what Act 3 has in 8 Days (have a nice weekend) 😊

Having trouble with Princess Jules. I completed her 12-hour quest, but the game does not show my accomplishment. I have tried a hard shut down, deleting the castle and putting it back, deleting the entire game and reinstalling. When I reinstalled the Cookie Castle, the game says it is fixing the base with icing but there isn’t a 4-hour time bar.

Did you check with @EAHelp on Twitter? Or EA’s Help website? I’d inquire with them if you think you got a glitch, but Tech Support has Sunday off (so I get on it today). 🤔

    • I was having the same problem. I was able to get around this by putting her unicorn in inventory.

  6. P.S.

I skipped the Gil Deal (actually? I think I nominate this in Comic Book Guy voice “worst Gil Deal ever!”) but Premium Character Combo is worth the sprinkles!

  7. Act 2

Premium Character Combo Evil Godmother Burns w/ Fantasy Castle (that you can place in Mountains) – honestly? this is all I care for! 😉👍🏻

Pumpkin Carriage – it goes swell in Halloween 🎃 Town near the Fantasy Castle! 👍🏻

12 🍩’s – guess I got the only Content from the Simpsonsverse Mystery Box in Act 1 (which means it’s 12 🍩’s from here on out!) 🙄

Royal 🦄 – yeah it’s just an NPC (what a shame, I was expecting something on par with a 🦄 Wizard!) 🙄

Th-th-that’s it for Act 2 (not even the funny Character Dialogue courtesy of the Writers can make me want to grind – or expedite with 🍩’s – for Crap Prizes I don’t care for – so I Tap Out here!) 👎🏻

Evil Godmother Burns Questline is 😂 (at least Act 2 isn’t a total bust!)

    • I already had Burns summer mansion and the sun blocker against the mountains so the Evil Godmother castle was an easy placement.

The carriage had too large a footprint for my enchanted forest and magic area so I put it between the Tunnel of Love and Itchy’s Sleeping Castle in Krustyland.

This week I was behind finishing up Act 1, we’ve been having a busy couple weeks driving our daughter to college for the first time. I just started working toward the token which will give me the last item in my mystery box, the Yakuza Boss.

Have had some laughs with the dialogue, first in Act 1 that Burns solution to his debt problem was to cancel his worthless Disney+ streaming account and in Act 2, Homer’s dread of the Disney musical numbers. I can relate Homer, I can relate.

  8. My gravitar has stopped working here, am logged on?

  9. Ooo didn’t know that, I wasn’t going to buy it but like that idea, pity I couldn’t do with some of the other castles

  10. Thanks for the reminder! Looks like that Mountain Castle can only be placed in the mountains. Still fun, though!

    • Yes, it joins the Homerlayas and the Springfield Heights tunnel entrance as another item to be placed on the mountains.

      • How many castle’s is that in Springfield

        • Paul William King

Ummm…lots? I try to keep mine consolidated behind the Great Wall.

          • 16 (Barbarian Castle, Boxingham Castle, and Castle Recycle from Clash event. Internationally you have the Bastille, Himeji Castle, Gautama Palace, and I’ll count Buckingham Palace as a castle. Can’t forget Blarney Castle, Tower of Springfield, and Count Burns Castle. Imaginary/Fantasy you have Castle of Equalia, Ice Palace, Count Burns Castle, Monsters Castle, Mad Doctor’s Castle, and now this.)

(20 if you include Magic Academy, Magic Academy Library, Mess Hall, and Magic Palace.)
(And 21 if you’re a weirdo and count “Sleeping Itchy’s Castle” Krustyland amusement park ride.)

            • And one of the castles in your list I’ve climbed to the top of in the “real” world, on a very hot day in Japan! 🙂

But one of the advantages of being in England is that I can see a real castle, with bits dating back to the 1070s, from our spare bedroom…

Look up Dudley Castle, and you’ll find out within a mile or so where I live!

            • You updated this after it initially posted…when I saw in the email notification for the comment that you said 9, I knew that was off, because I knew that I had a lot more than that. So off I went to write up a list, but, when I came here to comment with the additions, I saw that all of my efforts had been rendered unnecessary. Oh well, my bad for not looking here first (I didn’t think of the fact that it might have been edited, because we can’t edit our own comments, but then I realized that, as a moderator, you could.

BTW, all of this led me to research whether there was a difference between a castle and a palace, and it turns out there is! Castles are fortified, while palaces are not. So, in the end, I came out the better for my efforts! 🙂

            • Duff Gardens might count as a castle as well, I’d say.

        • How many Castles with permanent Character Tasks? 😉
(still irritated that EA gave us Dracula’s Castle, but not one Character Task with it – doh!)
