Ol’ Gil is back in Springfield! Always a pleasure to see our favorite salesman roaming the streets of Springfield! (hey EA, when the heck are you going to make Gil a playable character?!)
Anyway, Gil is back and, as always, he’s got another “deal” for us. What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well, this one is a no-hassle castle for sure!
So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if this deal is worth the donuts or if you should take a hard pass…
So when you first get into Springfield you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Oh, boy, have I got a no-hassle castle for you! It’s a meal of a deal! Just be careful of the previous owner. She’s a bit…bloodthirsty.
Princess Jules: You there, peasant. Who said you could step on my property? My royal unicorn shall feast on your bones!
Gil: Aw, jeez. Think you can help a guy out of a jam here? If this were your property, she wouldn’t have a case!
At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…

The tasks are totally worth the donuts! She rides a flying unicorn through the sky (like Fortune’s hot-air balloon, etc) and it breathes fire!? The dialogue is great as well. All in on this one.
Having the same problem can’t get her to do the task ,I will try what you suggest!
So I still can’t get into the game, haven’t been able to get in since before the new event. I’ve left a message on the official Tapped Out Facebook page, as well as a review in the App Store, but still EA doesn’t respond!!! I’ve played every day since the game came out and now I can’t get in at all…uggh!!! I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the game but to no end. I’ve tried to email them but you need the mayhem ID which I can’t get unless I’m in game. So disappointed as this event looked really interesting to me and I really wanted that Noir Homer. 🙁 I just hope EA fixes this and does something to make up for the loss of play, even if it’s extending the event so those of us who couldn’t play can get the items earned during the event. Sorry for the rant.
If you have a working email address as your game login, load up origin, has to be U S version. Log in to your profile, ask Ea for help from there, start a chat and follow the prompts it is much easier if you have 2 devices to use. One for chat and one to check what is happening on your origin page. You can specifically ask the help desk to do it through origin. That’s what worked for me, albeit eventually. Good luck.

Give it a try using the best way to get in touch with EA Tech Support, just prepared to give them information and follow all steps (yes this verification code nonsense isn’t going to make Login / Logout easy).

Didn’t buy the deal, short of space and didn’t like the combo, my game doesn’t work well with flying tasks, new device needed and on my Christmas list
I got it…but am struggling to find space for anything new. Land expansion would be great.
Ever since this event started, my phone has been forcing me to download updates every time I try to sign in. This means that every four hours I’m supposed to sit through the 20+ minutes it takes to download updates and I cant use my phone for any other purposes while I sit and wait. Sometimes it will decide my phone is full (it’s not) and make me delete something, but turning the phone off and on usually fixes it. It’s doing some other weird crap, too. Nothing I’ve tried has fixed it, even deleting the app and reinstalling it. I like the game but who’s going to waste two hours a day waiting for game to start? Now, I sign in once a day, maaaaaaybe.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is my phone possessed?
Check your memory usage. You probably need to delete some data for it download cleanly.
this is normally the case when your phone is near capacity. It delete this temp data when you leave the game only to reload it when you come back. Normally, if you free up space this will resolve it.
You forgot her best animated job: surveying the kingdom. She flies across the screen constantly on a fire breathing unicorn.
Anyone else having trouble getting thru the quest with this character. I’m supposed to “burn the land” but it’s not highlighting it as an option like you usually see in a quest line. But it is a regular job. Did that but, nada. I can’t seem to proceed.
Hi Timothy — I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was:
1. Storing Jules
2. Storing the Royal Unicorn
3. Quitting the game.
4. Restarting my phone.
5. Starting the game up again and taking Jules out of storage but NOT the Royal Unicorn
6. Sending Jules on the “Burn the Land” task
Some of that may be overkill (I don’t know if restarting your device is truly necessary), but it worked for me!

I can wait for this to show up in a Mystery Box obtained by a free Token (maybe by then we’ll get a Land Expansion). Nice that she’s Voiced, but that Castle takes up too much Real Estate. 😉
