It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

What is with all these mammoth updates!? It’s not like we’re getting Land / Krustyland / Heights expansions or anything…
What is the easiest way to get my billionaires status in Springfield Heights. Cookie has been working non-stop. Would like to give her a break, lol. Best Buy’s?

Idk how everyone else feels, but this event just throws decorating all of wack. I get the idea, different versions so it’s different settings, but now I have to figure out where to put noir buildings and Japanese style ones. It can be a fun challenge, but I usually buy land and set it aside for the event. This has be placing decorations everywhere.
That being said, now I have a huge cookie castle, so I can start up a dessert land.

You may find some of the New Content would go swell in Krustyland (that’s a place I continuously have to edit, no thanks to EA not giving us a Land Expansion). Other ideas depend on prior Events (ie we have plenty of Asia Content from China to Japan to create an Asian Themed section). Truthfully? About 1/3 of the New Content I am keeping, the rest went right into Storage (or I didn’t even bother to Tap for). 👍🏻

Something weird happened. I got a free mystery box token, used it, and got the Burns Dragon. Unfortunately it wasn’t there in my inventory.

Well I hope everyone got that Summer Vacation (even though it doesn’t feel like Summer is coming to an end weather wise 🌡️). I think the Mrs and I were wise to do it in July (no 😷 mandate at Knott’s) and a staycation in August (yeah too many still not vaccinated). 🤔
Anyone else editing their Springfield due to New Content (or making room for New Content?) Anyone else over it – as in skip Act 4 and just give us a good week off? 😅
