Into the Simpsonsverse Act 4 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Who’s ready to take one last trip into the multi-verse?!  Get ready for the many Homer, and other Simpson, doppelgangers to invade our Springfields through the multi-verse portal in the latest multi-event to hit our Springfield’s…Into the Simpsonsverse!  As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Remember, this is the FINAL Act of this event.  So you have until September 8th to finish this Act, and any others you may not have finished.

Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between the multiple Homers, Evil Godmother Burns, and Anime Marge…

Evil Godmother Burns: Hmm, it appears you’ve finally found yourselves a formidable warrior, heroes.
Anime Marge: Get out of my way.
Evil Godmother Burns: You have won the battle, Homers, but I promise you will lose the war! *disappears*
Noir Homer: Looks like this dame joined us in the nick of time.
Anime Marge: Call me dame again. I dare you…
Princess Homer: Never mind him. But we do need your help to stop the godmother. So, will you join us?
Anime Marge: I have no time for such idle matters… I have my own quest to fulfill. I bid you all good fortune on your journeys. *disappears*
Homer: Wow, she kicks butt and plays hard to get. So hot.
Noir Homer: Dangit. The godmother got away again. We have to track her down.
Princess Homer: Um, I think we have bigger problems right now. It looks like the portal has become unstable.
Homer: Gee, I wonder why.
Noir Homer: No need to point fingers.
Homer: I’m only pointing at your fingers because they were the ones on the axe.
Anime Homer: Something come through portal!

This triggers the Act 4 questline, Armpit of the Universe and is followed by a 4hr task for Homer, Princess Homer, Noir Homer and Anime Homer (if you have him), as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (115).  Armpit of the Universe is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…

Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:

The first thing to come through the portal is the formidable Anime Marge. When the godmother looks her up and down, she realizes she cannot win this battle and disappears. When the Homers attempt to recruit Anime Marge, however, she refuses and explains that she has her own score to settle in Springfield and disappears as well.

Suddenly, a battle van from the Apocalypse Universe comes through the portal, and the group hop aboard to chase down the godmother. Along the way, they nearly run over some Ethereal Beings, yet another bizarre thing to come through the destabilized portal, who are eating their banana-peel lunch in the middle of the street.

The Ethereal Beings then explain that if the Homers want to restabilize the portal, they’ll need a space-time continuum, which can be found at the NewTube Headquarters. The heroes hastily make their way to NewTube, only to discover the evil godmother is already there.

During their final showdown, the portal breaks, trapping everyone in Springfield while the godmother makes her escape. She doesn’t escape justice for long, though, and is soon apprehended by Lisa Simpson.

As I stated above, you’ll go right into Armpit of the Universe questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

  1. Yeah I can sit out Act 4 (these Prizes are meh!) 🙄

A Portal is cool when it comes with a Character Task, generates Simpsons cash + XP (when it doesn’t do much as Decor? it’s not worth Tapping for!) Not one thing in Act 4 screams “I must Tap for this! I need it!” 😅

I am quite satisfied with what I have in my Springfield from this Multi-Act Event ….. and Mini Events are still better! 👍🏻

  2. The items in this act look good even if they don’t follow the same theme. Act 1 had the Noir/1930s theme, Act 2 had the Princess theme and Act 3 had the Anime theme. The Battle Van will look great with the Bart Royale/Outlands items. Uter’s Candy Paradise will fit in with all the items from Act 2. Space-time Continuum will go well with the Alternate Universe Computer in Act 1. NewTube will hopefully work with the Ultranet since they both have a similar design. The Alien Utopia and does look pretty and the Ethereal Beings are different to the characters we’ve had in the event.

  3. This is absolutely one of the BEST both in terms of prizes, but especially characters, and the Premiums are awesome! Great job! Nothing in the last 2 years comes close!

  4. I like the prizes and the dialogue! Good event!

  5. Not very sure we’re am going with this act, liking 2 of the prizes, the battle van and the portal but am sure I will find some inspiration somewhere for act 4 area 😁😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    • There is some weird stuff in this update for sure. Somehow most stuff still finds a place in my Springfield. I’m frequently reminded of the viral video of the professor asking his class if a glass canister is full and after the students reply ‘yes’ he then continues to pull out smaller and smaller particulates to fill in space, showing there’s always more room if you think creatively. A bit of my Great Wall went into inventory to accomodate the anime village and the new Krusty Burger but I made it work.
As usual, I’ll get the premium on the last day for a questline over the down week. I have no idea now where all these surreal new landscapes will go, probably in inventory, but I’ve passed on things before because they didn’t fit into my designs at the time and later regretted it because I had the perfect place and they didn’t come back. I’m thinking the portal and YouTuber building could transition my techie Cypress Creek into my futuristic Springfield. There’s always a way.

  6. Once again, it’s a rather lackluster Act IV in an event, with prizes that will eventually go right into storage. It would’ve been nice if they had saved something worthwhile for the final prize.

    • You nailed it! 👍🏻

But this is an ongoing problem with Multi-Act Events – they start strong but their stay is too long! Prizes are fun but eventually become dumb! I’m happy with the New Content I’m keeping in my Springfield, but I refuse to defend whenever that small dedicated EA Staff gets L-EA-Z-Y! 🤔

We all know a Land Expansion is needed, EA knows it (lol – next to the verification code, more Land gets yelled at them daily on the Social Networks! I play nice, I playfully heckle, I don’t endorse being rude to Tech Support – but at the same time EA knows what’s up!)! 🤷🏼‍♂️

      If I’m not Tapping, then I’m Arcade1Up –

      • I disagree about the land expansion, and would actually advocate for less land. More land simply promotes more opportunities for clutter and XP farming, and that takes the fun out of the game. There is more than ample space for buildings, decorations, etc.

        • How long have you been playing? Very longtime players needed more land than newer ones. Also, more land makes for LESS clutter…one can design with more open space, instead of having everything crammed together. That said, I do think that there are ways to have nice designs and to keep them somewhat compact…I still have some unused land, myself, and don’t necessarily feel the need to have everything that I’ve gotten placed in my town.

As for XP farming taking the fun out of the game, I think that, too, depends. I no longer ever need to farm donuts, but that’s only because I worked hard to get to a high multiplier level and get all the donuts I ever need (and more) just by collecting buildings and tasks. But I had fun working up to that point and I have fun now being “rich” enough in the game not to have to worry about not having enough donuts to get or do whatever I want. I’ve always dreamt about being rich enough in real life not to have to think about money and to know that I can take care of myself and my loved ones no matter what happens (which is more appealing to me than having fancy cars, houses, etc.). However, that’s never going to happen (unless I get a winning lottery ticket or something), so it’s nice to at least get to live that kind of life virtually in the game. I don’t have to stress about anything anymore while playing TSTO, and that’s certainly fun for me!

        • Other people design differently and play the game differently. You are not forced to use more land if it’s available and cluttering is also an individual choice. Likewise for donut farming. Don’t do it if you don’t enjoy it.

It’s like adding salt while cooking when some people at the table are salt sensitive. Everybody else can add salt at the table if they wish, but nobody can remove the salt if it’s already added. Not adding salt during cooking leaves choices open to everyone, salted or unsalted.

So making more land available if desired gives everyone the choices they want.
