It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The Simpsons are also back tonight with an all-new episode, THOH XXXII! Be sure to check out the new episode (if it’s airing in your area)! And don’t forget to check back in your game after the episode (should be midnight on the east coast of the US) for the season 33 prize track item!

Been over two years since I played, but picked the game off and dusted off my nuked town.
I quit not long before Golden Goose Realty first appeared, had a look in on the game after missing it’s second appearance, and now missed it’s third.
But I have made the town again, not gone too ridiculous with fitting things in just for multipliers etc and even let my son ‘design’ two areas.
Funnily enough, my sister couldn’t pick out what he had done. He’s 7.
Suck a Shame you can’t craft geriatric park wall pieces like boardwalk or the Great wall of China. I want some but not donuts…I’d put up with cash but come on … is there any way I’ve missed?

Game: “Your town is overrun with dinosaurs, quick tap them!!”
Me: “…why…? I have tapped all I need. They are worthless.”
Seriously though, how have they not fixed this little “problem” since the escaped cons running around recently? Either make them drop something or have them stop spawning if the quest chain step doesn’t include them.
I have to admit that I liked the cons and the dinasaurs spawning and walking around my town, the more the merrier 🦖🦕🦖🦕🦕🦖🦕
I dunno…they’re kinda fun to tap, even when there’s no purpose. But I do think they should up the number needed in the questline from just 15 to something a little more challenging.

Of course as soon as I started the the last item for act 1, they started showing up. I love them. Their fun to squish but I’m not getting rid of them. They look cute running around town.

Where are Geriatric park walls stored? I purchased 60 and can’t find them.

You’ve gotta search your whole inventory list they’re not categorized
I found mine under the general inventory, ten items in.
They appear right in the beginning if you choose the whole inventory.
They’re towards the end of the Miscellany category (The one with the blind Lady Justice icon). I hope they recategorize them into the walls category at some point!

Had to do my 3rd code by email verification yesterday. Such a hassle because like thousands of other Tappers my Origin account was made under an old email address I don’t use anymore and isn’t saved to any of my devices. The first time was a major pain because I had to reset the password as I didn’t remember it anymore and verify my identity via another old email account not saved to my devices. So I’m panicked because I got 10 minutes to power up my old laptop (new one isn’t fully set up yet) go to Outlooks page to try and hunt up my old msn account and get the code before time expires, which I’m sure it did, but it took it on the first try this time. It took multiple attempts the last two times.
I really feel for Tappers who are completely locked out because their old email accounts are now defunct for whatever reason. There HAS to be an easier way than this for EA’s “account management”. I know people who work there read this blog, so this is just my little protest rant. Fix This Please!
Happy THOH Sunday Tappers and I do appreciate EA giving us another prize track set to open another segment today. It’s my Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, so looking forward to nice weekend. Suggestion :-
Pick or create another email you can easily use
Fire up your old email account
Head to EA and sign in to your account
Edit your email address – you’ll need a code sent to the old email to do it
If you have second email in regular use then set that up as a recovery email so you can get the codes to edit the account sent to that in future if you need to – but you can’t use the recovery email for the log-in codes

Just wondering if anyone else noticed a small glitch with the Old Ruins. The pick axe icon doesn’t appear..even when axes are available. Not a big deal..still works the same, just no icon. I really wish we would get more land..even if some was available for actual cash money…like CJ once suggested. Hope everyone is enjoying the fall foliage..gorgeous up here in Northern Maine…although I’ve already had to scrape frost off my car windows a couple of mornings…made my appointment to put my winter tires on at the end of the month…winter isn’t far away for us up here. I’m looking forward to tonight’s THOH episode.

The Mrs & I enjoyed our time at Knott’s Scary Farm (great to be back after last year was canceled due to the pandemic, so it was our 41st Halloween Haunt 🪦 !) …. didn’t find this Multi Act Event Halloween 🎃 enough? I say venture out and see what Halloween Events are happening near you and/or take a mini vacation out of town. 👻

You know it’s a Multi-Act Event that EA’s running out of ideas for so they pad it with crap Prizes when (I’m predicting potential Act Prizes, 50-50 that I’m accurate, or not!):
_you get a 🚁 (goes swell with the 4 or 5 other 🚁 you already have!)
_EA actually thinks you’ll want to spend 🍩’s for more 🚁’s (aww thanks, EA!)
_you will probably get a 🚗 (like all 🚗’s Tap it for an engine rev + lights turning on – how original – won’t I feel lucky if there’s actually a Character Task with that 🚗!)
_EA thinks Tappers will spend 🍩’s for more of that same 🚗 (if EA’s has done it for a 🚁? EA will do it for any Decor Prize in this Event!)
_you will probably get a Visual Character Task (it’s been a while, we don’t get Tokens and/or 12 🍩’s as Act Prizes, I won’t be shocked – just ‘meh’!)
_New Building(s) always appreciated (calling out that Geriatric Park Visitors Center recycles sound of Global Housing when Tapped – recycled sounds happened a lot this year!)
_New Character(s) because EA can be generous, even a Voiced Character (that’s expected on a Premium!)
_New Character Skin(s) I’m ok with, I’m not ok when it’s Premium for 🍩’s (few exceptions worth it in the Mystery Box!)
_NPC’s Character(s) and Pet(s) brought back as Event Prizes this year (it’s predictable how things will get L-EA-Z-Y!)
These are all New Act Prizes, they’re not all Quality Prizes you’ll keep in your Springfield (that era ended years ago in this Game App!), it’s cool we got NPC’s roaming to Tap (would’ve preferred if everything was Halloween 🎃 ish!)

The Knott’s Scary Farm makes me think of the THOH update I’ve hoped for the most, one based on Halloween of Horror [S 27 Ep. 4] Sure, we have the Everscream Terrors skin and the Halloween pop up store but there is easily enough content in that one episode to make a multi event out of. I want a spooky Krustyland!
Maybe the writers have avoided it because a lot of Tappers were salty about merging KL with Springfield and refused to rebuild, so they’d be left out? Idk but surely not as salty as Tappers are about an update that doesn’t feel very Halloween themed.
Knott’s Berry Farm was the first theme park to start doing something during October 🎃 during Halloween (1975) … they made the wise decision in 1983 to hire Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) away from Universal Studios Hollywood … the rest is History (this includes Boysenberries, which Walter Knott helped cultivate before the depression era).
I agree about Season 27 Episode 4 THOH (not sorry if EA is having their A$$ handed to them on the TSTO Facebook Page, Tappers do not like the verification code do not like being locked out of their Game App do not like the lack of Halloween 🎃 and do not like a stagnant Event format).
Well I appreciate the attempt to have each separate Act based on a different THOH Segment, it’s evident that the small dedicated EA Staff / Writers failed in their choices (oh well if you never obtained Springfield Zoo Content / Prehistoric Content? then you might be happy with what you are able to obtain). I still 😂 at all of the 🦖🦕 NPC’s roaming my Springfield that I refuse to tap. Almost time to watch this Season’s THOH 💀🪦 and that Fox Animation Teaser just proved what the Game App is missing. 👻

I’m sure this has been covered somewhere but since this update I think or maybe before, I can’t cash out Krustyland tickets at the big Krusty head entrance, not a huge deal but is it a glitch? Is there a fix?

There are some good Premium Character with Building Combos available from Springfield Zoo / I want to call it Neanderthal Land because we got a Neanderthal Moe w/Cave and a Neanderthal Booberella w/Cave (plenty of Voiced Characters with funny Visual Character Tasks).
spend those 🍩’s on the returning Content and have some fun. ☺️
I really enjoy my zoo so I say if you have the space and the donuts and the design time- go for it!
Some tips for the never-ending donut . . .
Usually it’s a broken Bart screen, waiting for you to hit a non existent Retry button !!
My phone is fairly problem free but my tablet is a constant battle with connection trouble.
Here’s a few tips I use, in no particular order –
Head to recent apps and swipe the game off, then pop to your Home-screen and tap the icon to restart it
Run a memory cleaner app to tidy up everything
Head to settings, find TSTO and force close and clear cache ( do not delete all data or you’ll need to redo that huge download ).
Expect Bart when you relaunch, but don’t retry – swipe the game off and relaunch as tip 1. If Bart comes back try a retry once and kill it again if it comes back with a countdown.
Turn off internet access ( wifi and mobile data if you use it ) then start the game so it tells you it’s your fault it can’t connect. Turn internet access back on and then tap retry – if you can, do it from your drop-down menu.
I also sometimes use the drop-down to turn internet access off and on to reset it before entering my PIN too, with mixed results

Because they’re still available on Fox. I don’t think they will be availed in the mouse house until the end of the season.
They took fox Channel away as well, I used to watch the walking dead and the talking dead on it, now I watch it on Disney + but no talking dead
Season 32 just became available in Canada on Disney+ last week. But like Sandra said, Season 33 probably won’t become available until Season 34 debuts.
