It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Am I excited for Act 4? Heck No! I’m over this non Halloween 🎃 THOH Multi Act Event! The Arcade1up Simpsons is scheduled to arrive soon …. consider that a wake up call EA (try harder or I’ll be tapping less!) 🎮
I have up playing tapped out after playing for more than seven years. I have been unable to login to my town and have repeatedly contacted ea to no avail. I’ve loved the Simpson and even more tapped out, but I have too much time and money invested in my old town to start all over again…
I agree – don’t turn this into something brand new that you quit updating EA (you have done this numerous times to where you get lampooned for it online!) 😂
Did you get back on? EA logged Me out & made me reset My password. Not I can’t get in & after speaking to EA support for over an hour, the game doesn’t even recognize my email address anymore
Personally I’m enjoying this event so far. I know it’s not super Halloween-y and I understand the complaints that it’s not in tune with typical Halloween-themed events, no spooky decorations, facades or returning characters.
But i like that it’s different and there’s content from so many episodes!!
I know we probably don’t need another amusement park, but i feel that with this you can link all the random preistoric/dinosaur content like the tar pits, jungle stuff etc. it’s new, it could be interesting.
I’m also really happy that they gave us the Ad agency! I can’t wait for it to drop tmr!
I remember requesting it last year haha so i’m really happy!
I hope they keep up the good work because Xmas is my favourite time of the year, i’m hoping for something different than last year gingerbread-fingers crossed <3
This may have been discussed before but it looks like many characters were given new jobs with this update. It appears most are new solo jobs for characters who have jobs that can only be done with other characters (for example Nedward and Capri Flanders now have solo 12 hour jobs in addition to their joint 12 hour job). This makes it easier to use the Employment Office, almost all the characters now seem to have solo jobs for each time period. Some others though have new jobs for no apparent reason (Grady has a new 24 hour job in addition to his old 24 job).
I am not sure how many new jobs there are but it’s cool discovering them as characters are sent on new tasks. From what I can tell Nedward, Capri, Grady, Stampy, Kamala, Mnthster, Cthulhu, Robot Smithers and Burns, Larry and Sam, and Jeremy Jailbird have new tasks.
I have a glitch in game that I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the entire game. Nurture of the Beast pt3 has me glitched out and has 240+ characters stuck in an endless loop of completed jobs. But won’t let me actually select them for new jobs. I can sign and in and out and touch completed jobs but won’t let me go any farther… I have screen recorded the issue, maybe one of you amazing simpsons fans hmcan help me out!!????

The problem isn’t the word, it’s the missing hyphen….”re-place” would have worked just fine.
You know my immediate response to this…without wearing my Addicts nice hat is…I’ll tell you where you can store and retrieve it from. 😉
I love tapping the dinosaurs, but TSTO it’s too easy. I started 3 days late, and finished 2 days early. Time for them to have a rethink. PLEASE have a look at the ” Stonecutters ” update, and learn from it!!!
This was definitely the easiest act, with even freemium only players requiring 18 four hour cycles in 9 days.
I think I probably know what the answer is, but I wondered if you were going to do a SIB on Test Subject Bart?
If you think the answer is “Yes”, you would be correct.
Because the for real life money items don’t help with the event, these posts are scheduled for Act 4.

When will EA update the 33? It great to get new character. Lordi wish we could have a yard sale and get ride of some item in storage. I have like 1000 bonsai trees and even more barrels. I do love games much. With actors passing away and other actors taking off from other characters, it is real nice hear the simpsons characters as they’re written
