Nearly two weeks ago, a brand-new mini-event started up in our towns! (as long as you’ve downloaded the update) Now it’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around we want to see what you’ve done with the Northward Bound mini-event stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show us how you fit them into your Springfield! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.

So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your Bounty Hunter-inspired designs (by 8 pm ET Thursday, December 2nd) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Friday, December 3rd.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

With time winding down on the Northward Bound event, I am looking at all the limited time premium items that will disappear in less than two days. Any recommendations? Or perhaps there is a summary here on this site that I can’t find?
No, not yet. Just briefly touched on in tomorrow evenings post. Don’t recommend the monorail bridges and tunnels if you want. I bought these items.
Depends on what you plan on using your new land for. If you’re even thinking of putting a monorail extension over the gorge, I’d for sure pick up a monorail bridge or 2. I picked up a tunnel for later use. I personally feel I already have enough frontier style items, at most I’m maybe going to get a couple horses, trough and hitching posts if their size aligns with some of my cabin style buildings.
Now Black Friday is a different matter. As a long time player, all I really wanted out of my boxes was The Hellfish Bundle. I went ahead and cleared the 4 characters in my Alter Egos box for the heck of it even though I don’t use skins all that often. Of course, it’s a personal choice on how many donuts you have and what you really want. If you want more info on individual items in boxes, I recommend either using the search function on this website or Simpsonswiki, TSTO events page for links. Hope that helps.

My suggestion is to go for the Limited Time Content of interest (but if you truly want to see what that Content looks like? then visit a Neighboureeno and check out their Frontierland!)
I’ve got 🐎’s (this includes 🐄’s disguised as a 🐴!), Stage Coaches, Wagons, Barrels, TNT (Dynamite!), The Hearse Coach with 2 ⚰️’s (and numerous Orange Mounds jutting up – these are all interactive when you Tap them, some have Scorpions crawling over them, some have Hawks flying in the air around them!) Spend those 🍩’s on what you want and enjoy building your Frontierland (where’s my Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?) 😀👍🏻

I’m still undecided what to work toward with all the new land. I guess sometimes the obvious (i.e. Wild West / Frontierland) is the best route to go. Now to see how much I can get done before the showoff!
I’ve bought monorail bridge and two tunnels so far, just to have options in the future.
I can’t get over 200 characters out of the Wiggum house (Live in Fear). They exit then go right back in. I’ve rebooted several times. No luck. Any suggestions?
Have you tried storing the Wiggums house in your inventory for a few minutes?

Question: has there been any indication from EA as to whether the ew tree groups with stones or logs will be added to the normal shop for either IGC or Donuts? Sure there are lots available on the new land… But my town has a TON of trees, so being able to skim thst back some with the new trees would be a great help on the item limit.
I also like the tree groupings. Cypress Creek is supposed to be heavily wooded but I haven’t done that in my town because of item limit warnings. Cecil’s road to riches mansion landscaping also had lg privacy hedges that I would love to see more of for purchase.

I appreciate those Tree Groupings, too (decorate more space without having to obtain as much!) and we will not know if they will be made available in the Game App later on their own (I’m sure if enough Tappers share their appreciation at the official TSTO Facebook Page then EA will take note!)
If I placed the New Decor into Storage? It’s because I’m taking control of Item Limits (and that means I will put Decor back into my Springfield overtime). This includes the 🦬 – I’m sure to find a spot for them later!
You can sell them for IGC (along with the mined donut veins and buffalo too!) so it would make sense to be able to buy them as well.
Although perhaps, hopefully, EA is just giving an option to get rid of things you don’t want. It would be so nice to be able to just ‘delete’ items, even for no compensation: Buh-bye 27 lard lads taking up inventory space!
